Not the best but they do have fast service for carry out whenever I crave something warm and don’t want to go to my regular phở spot bc if their traffic I come here in my pjs for pick up. Broth is always hot enough for when I get home but needs more flavor. Pretty basic phở spot.

Called in to place my order togo, we got two LARGE house phos. Which from what I saw was priced at 8.95 per. When I asked the lady how much each bowl was she said 10.85 including tip… Okay I’m placing a togo order since when do we just assume that I’m tipping. Whatever I’m craving phở so I said that’s fine we’ll be there shortly. The venue is small, I definitely wouldn’t choose to dine in. I’d say it’s definitely a take out spot. The sides were self serve which is definitely a plus. When we tried the phở the soup was a little bland. Not as flavorful and authentic as I was hoping. They skimped on the meat. I saw maybe 1 meatball in my entire bowl of phở. And the sliced beef never cooked through. We had to reboil the broth. Even though we literally live 2 minutes away from the restaurant. Not sure how I feel about this place yet, will have to come back for another try. Hopefully the service will be better next time!

West LA isn’t known for their Vietnamese food. Let’s be real, I have had a difficult time finding proper Vietnamese cuisine. Their phở is probably the best quality in West LA for a good price. However, restaurant is poorly staffed which causes long waits for the food whether its to-go or to sit in. The food is 3 star quality but the service is a 2(I’m trying to be generous with the 2 because it was very busy when I visited).

Being from the Bay Area where I was spoiled to having great phở places pretty much in every street corner, this place almost reminded me of home! I was quite hungover and not wanting to drive all the way to Ktown, I went on Unilocal and to Super Phở I went! I got the vegetarian phở while the man got the phở ga(chicken phở) and the spicy pork and kimchi banh mi. The broth was delicious and not oily. Had a perfect amount of veggie to noodle ratio and the man really enjoyed his banh mi and said the chicken phở was just standard. Not a whole lot of vegetarian friendly options but that’s ok, I can live with that cause their veggie phở was good. Parking is a pain but you’d think we would be used to this by now but no, I complain every time.

Good phở on the west side. –Self serve condiments for phở(lime, onions, basil, mint leaf and green onion). –Parking is rather difficult as there are many residents living in area. –Fast and accurate service when dining in.

Great Phô for the price. Wonderful broth base with plenty of noodles. Good quality beef. Best Phô in the area! Love that there is a serve yourself fixings bar.

This is the best phở in LA — hands down… And I love me some noodles so I’ve definitely been around. I’m so happy that we have phở on this side of town that is this good. Honestly whenever i get back from a trip, feeling sick, had a bad day, need some soup, or just feeling a little pacific air chill — super phở and teriyaki is the spot for me. For one, it’s laid back and casual which is something you need. There’s a small tv for watching any important games you might be missing during a late dinner, and it’s conveniently located. Find parking on the residential street behind the shop. Not too bad. The egg rolls are amazing. The phở tai is unbelievably good. The broth will have you craving this stuff for days… Months… Years…

This place is right around the corner from where I live. It is definitely a place I will be returning to, the food here is fresh and tasty. I have only been eating phở for about 1 year now and have tried a few different places, this one stands out for the location and fresh ingredients. I am a fan!

This is my new favorite place for Phở! Self serve veggies and free oolong tea! The staff is super friendly. Or Maybe I’m just in a good mood…

This is an amendment to my last review. In fact, we will just call it a whole new review. The consistency is way off here. We come on some days and they pack on the food. We come today… Hardly any beef on my beef plate. The rice is still a little hard. Please fix. Now, on to the other issue. The young girl serving us was wearing very inappropriate clothes. Boobs hanging out. Not very tasteful at all. I love the food here. The atmosphere is usually good. But not tonight. All of this is an easy fix. I will be back. We’ll see… Great great great again. Always great food. BUT… This time the rice was undercooked. A little hard to chew. However, this didn’t stop us from devouring our huge chicken and beef plates. Rice is an easy fix. Will definitely be back again n again. So great.

I’ve eaten a lot of phở in my life. Typically outside of Garden Grove the phở is marginal at best. That being said this place is walking distance from where I currently live, prices are good and portions are generous. I had the rare beef phở, my typical order. It was good. Nothing exceptional but definitely not bad. The fresh toppings(basil, bean sprout, lime mint ect) were self serve which is just fine with me. Bottom line: If you live in the area would like a decent bowl of phở on a cold winter day, then this is your place.

Overall: 3⁄5 Just your ordinary, average phở joint… nothing overly amazing, but nothing disgusting… which is a shame since I remember it quite differently when I lived in the area. This used to be my late night spot when I had a phở craving, unfortunately it seemed to have fallen off a bit since then. I left here with a full belly but not necessarily a happy belly… more of a «meh» belly. The parking here is atrocious since they don’t have a parking lot. It so bad that my wife and I would literally cheer and high five each other whenever we found a parking spot on the street that didn’t require us to walk a couple of blocks. I remember it being worth the parking spot hunting, but I’m not sure I would spend the time and energy now. Service: 3⁄5 Very average service. The waitress/cashier was decent and polite, but I had the feeling that she was counting down the hours until she could leave. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a waitress/waiter politely say«how are you?», «thank you», and«you’re welcome» without coming close to cracking a smile. It was actually pretty impressive. Cleanliness: 4⁄5 I can’t really knock anything for being dirty or suspect. It was rather clean and tidy. The only reason that I am not giving it a 5 is because they have the chop sticks and spoons out on the side of your table which I do not like. I am probably just being paranoid, but for some reason I don’t like the idea that many other people before me have probably touched the chopsticks I was using while fumbling to get their own. It’s just an image I would rather not have while I’m eating. Food: 3.5÷5 I hate to repeat myself so many times in this review, but again, the food was just average. Phở was decent just not«WOW!!!» or even«mmmm». I have to admit that this is simply based on the meatball phở that I had and not anything else. Perhaps other dishes are better or I simply caught them on an off night… but I’m only basing this on what I ate. The yaki soba that we ordered for my son was actually quite tasty and was gigantic which gives me hope to maybe come back and try something else in the future. I hope that I can come back and edit this review for the better if I ever go back. Cons Parking is atrocious… well, actually it’s almost non-existent.

The Veggie phở is okay. It did, however, give me the grumbles afterward. The serving size is phenomenal, and the self service line was an awesome way to make sure I get alllllllll the onions and jalapeños I need to make sure I’m happyhappy. If I have a gripe with this(clean, well staffed) place it is that there is no fish/seafood option. This, however, doesn’t detract from this being a pretty good place for a quick bite. The self service bar had pretty decently fresh veggies. If you are in it to win it with a huuuuge portion of decent phở then this is your spot.

I got the small #8! It was very tasty and hot! The beef slices tasted good. I got up to select what condiments and how much I wanted! The experience was very positive! The cashier America was very nice and attentive! I will come again to see if things are as good! My bill was very reasonable $ 8.67

I love this little place! Call 15 minutes before you get there and your food will be ready for pickup. The phở really is super. I prefer the phở tai which is only raw steak, but they have a variety of options to suit your taste. There’s a self-serve bar for the phở amenities so you don’t end up with a pile of unused veggies. The teriyaki bowls and bahn mi are also great, but you may need 2 sandwiches to fill you up if you have an American stomach. There’s not much ambiance, but it is reminiscent of casual Vietnamese restaurants back in ‘Nam. Seating is a bit uncomfy and no mood lighting. But the quick service, cheap prices and delicious food more than make up for it.

Not so super Phở. Had their #1 in both the small and large($ 1 extra) sizes for take-out. You do get a lot more noodles with the large size. One thing I liked was being able to pick up my take-out and then have them provide an additional take-out box for you to use their condiments bar and load up on basil, lime, mint, bean sprouts, etc. I think this is the best feature about Super Phở & Teriyaki is that you can grab as many add-ons as you want. The phở itself was okay. Though neither of us were able to finish it and it left us with a very MSG-induced haze. Finally, they don’t accept American Express.

I’ve been sick this week so stopped in for Phở Ga(chicken phở noodle soup) shortly after work. It was only okay — I’ve had much better where it really feels like homemade chicken broth. The dish I got here seemed to use the same broth as the beef phở soup as it didn’t taste like chicken. It was fragrant and delicious but would have better been suited for the regular beef phở. Plus the shredded chicken was pretty dry. The large is only $ 1 more than the small, so I ended up getting the large and eating it in three sittings. I do appreciate the fact that they have a self serve vegetable bar with all the toppings you could ever want(cilantro, mint, Thai basil, green onions, white onions, bean sprouts) and packets of sriracha. Also, service to get my food was really quick and didn’t take phở-ever. Sorry, but you saw that one coming.

I came here for lunch and ordered the chicken teriyaki. The restaurant smelled like really good phở but it was much too hot to order that(next time). The staff was very polite and the service was quick. I enjoyed complimentary ice water with lime while I waited(8 minutes total) for my food to arrive. The chicken was delicious, juicy and grilled to perfection with the right amount of char on the outside. They didn’t skimp on the teriyaki sauce either and the serving of rice, chicken and veggies was so plentiful that I ended up taking half of it to go. I’m definitely coming back to try their phở once the weather cools off! But before then, I’ll be back for sure to try their banh mi next!

Table was broken but who cares the food here is great! Today the service was a tad bit slow. Speaking I was offered another table without me mentioning it. Today I got the small phở chicken for 7.95 and 2 pork egg rolls for 5.95 I got my egg rolls super quick so that was a good thing the phở was as expected great. the only trouble some thing was I was given two orders of egg rolls and charged. I clearly asked for one.

I have now been to several phở places in the palms/culver area and this remains the best thus far. Huge fan of the service and buffer style veggies. Their portions are giant. Like i greedily order a large which can easily feed two. I still love the broth as it tastes most authentic to me. I still stand by not ordering their egg rolls. I recently bought some pork egg rolls from costco and these look, taste, and basically are the same thing. The pork ones in the green box. Id be damned if they werent the same. That being said, come for the phở! I still love it. They also have complimentary hot teas which is perfect for days like today(it’s raining).
