Sandwich Metrics Are Failing At This Location SITREP In spite of all the drama swirling around Subway about the«bread» and now about their(former) spokesperson Jared(may he enjoy his incarceration with all the inmates who now can«Eat Fresh»), I’ve always been a fan of Subway stores, especially on my home turf near downtown and SacState. However, that’s not true of all franchisees everywhere. When I’m down in East L.A. training new staff at our Monterey Park Regional Office, this Subway is only a stone’s throw away from our office, and a logical choice to pop out and get a sub if trying to keep the lunch to just under 30 minutes. THESETUP But unfortunately, this location in East L.A. has just been stingy on the ingredients. It’s almost like they treat you as a completely new customer with NO exposure to any Subway before, so they act like they feel entitled to jip you on(what you’ve come to see as) expected sandwich ingredients. Such as, on different days: * On foot long Meatball sub, giving me only six(6) meatballs instead of eight(8); or, * On foot long Cheese sub, giving me only two(2) kinds of requested cheese instead of the three(3) that are expected, and were specifically requested. I could go into other details on other subs I’ve ordered, but you get the picture: they are stingy on their ingredients when compared to other Subway franchises. [And as a loyal Subway customer, it’s not like I won’t note the differences in preparation metrics between different stores on THESAMESUB.] THELOWDOWN Not a Subway franchise I will go to anymore.

I love subway but I don’t know what’s up with this location. I ordered the turkey salad and is the most skimpy salad I’ve ever seen from subway. I am not sure how many pieces of turkey exactly are they supposed to put but I can honestly say it did not compare to other locations. It looks like they put one piece of turkey because it was so meager I could barely see it, I even had to ask her to add more lettuce because it did not look like a complete salad. If they are trying to make their bottom line is at the expense of the customer. I can honestly say I will never return to this location. Also the customer service was not inviting. Clerk was Cindi.

WORSTCUSTOMERSERVICEEVER!!! Ordered platters and they gave me the hardest time retrieving my platters cause i wasn’t there in person to give them my card with ID. Though they told me the previous day to give them my card # w/expiration date and code on back for security reasons… Doesnt that mean they’ll charge me incase i dont pick up the platters? Duhhh! So why wouldn’t they charge me the day of? I was at work… far from subway and i needed the platteres asap. Sent my bro to deliver them. They gave me such a hard time and at the end, they made me go online to order the platters and the website did have the option to choose the platters i actually ordered. WASTEOFMYTIMEANDMONEY!!! After getting my order.. The platters didn’t make it to where they were suppose to go due to arriving late and i still have the cookies platters here at home cause the customer service took tooo damn long… Manager sucks! System sucks!!! I was a regular but now they lost a customer. I was a supervisor at subway 10 years ago and this never happened during my shift. I made sure all my customers were happy and got what they wanted!!!

i have to agree with all the one star reviews… this subway is AWFUL!!! we got a sandwich platter for the holidays and it was MOSTLY all COLDCUTCOMBOS, which were $ 2 each during the month of december. there was NOT a variety of sandwiches like normal subways make up. 16 – 20 sandwiches 12 were cold cut combos and 4 were turkey and ham… wtf. where’s the tuna OR chicken??? this place was CHEAPAS F*KKWITHTHELETTUCE… I mean, come on now, it’s lettuce. but these were all BREAD sandwiches!!! even though this is the only subway around, go somewhere else. the owner doesnt care about his customers, all he cares about is making money. oh yeah, and i have been overcharged there MANY times in the past and he sends out BOGUSAND I MEANBOGUSCOUPONSTHATDONTWORK!!! T HISPLACEIS A SERIOUSJOKE

This place is not the same anymore. Ever since some guy who I think was the assistant manager left, this place is going downhill. Puras fallas. Just go somewhere else if you want subway.

Worst subway experience ever. I went in to get a veggie salad. No one knew what they were doing. The lettuce was brown. I had to force myself to eat it because I didn’t have time to get anything else. Also the person I was with got a footlong and it was so dirty and soggy that he couldn’t even eat it. We will not come back here again.

Ladies and Gents… I don’t normally write reviews for food chains but this more of a pre-caution. We came around 7:10pm on 4÷4÷2014 to get myself a cold cut for dinner. Parking wasnt so bad at the time but leaving sucks because the lot is so small. When walked in, there was no greetings which is fine because its a fast food place. and theyre busy. There were 6 people in front of us and the line moved pretty quickly… well duhh there were 5 people making sandwiches. I ordered my usual cold cut combo. I can tell that the staffs were being stingy with the toppings and the guy who topped my veggies sucks the last guy who closes the sandwich couldnt close it because the veggies were places in between the crease of the bread. stupid. The guys laughed and said to the veggie guy that he couldnt close it because the toppings were added on all retarded. agreed but that didnt bother me. The veggies were pretty fresh so that was good. The place is pretty clean and spacious. Cookies look pretty bomb and I did get two of them instead of the chips. Too bad the green teas were out so I opt for the raspberry iced tea What bothered me was the cashier. He was so expressionless and clueless. He asked the other staffs what I ordered and the guy said cold cut and he wrote down and charged me something else. I think I ended up paying more. I paid cash and I expected to get ALL my change back. But instead he tried to cheat me. Instead of handing me my $ 10.92 back. he just gave me $ 10. Usually people would hand you the coins on top of the bills so you can see the coins. Instead he pretended to put the change between the two $ 5 bills and said«Here is youre $ 10 and 92 cents.» I grabbed it from him and realized that it was really light and I realized that this loser never gave me my change. He looked super guilty and I was like finnnee whatever. 92 cents tip for your sorry ass. And he did the same to my other two friends! I think this crook took about $ 3 from us. Not a big deal but who knows how many people ha he been crooking? Manager of this subway. if youre reading this, which I doubt, you can refer to the time and date and see the cashier was. If you get extra tips out of nowhere… that aint tips yo.

I love subway! How you can go wrong with a Tuna sandwich and few ingredients(Lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, mustard and mayonnaise)? You can’t go wrong! The problem is that this subway is to stingy not providing enough Tuna or lettuce! It was only bread… basically bites of pure bread! –Not happy at all ! I asked the guy to add more lettuce and he ask me… You need more!!! Lol«really??»” he’s just giving me bread few balls of tuna not even spread like it supposed to!!! I know subway, I eat at list two times a week on a subway… But I haven’t seen anything so stingy like this Subway! I won’t go ever again! That’s for sure! (((((***Hey Manager… Please train your people to serve a subway the right way! I am sure you didnt get trained like this… your not helping the name of subway look good!))))) –I’m not happy with this meal if you pay attention even the soda tastes more like colored water… Personally I like that part! I mix my drink with water anyways but it was totally water down… This is a cheap cheap subway. Hope you guys get better if not; well you will keep seeing bad reviews.

Consistent taste. I come here often. I like the location and I have never been unsatisfied with the service, quality and taste. One of the best subway locations I’ve been to. The only drawback is parking, it can be difficult to park here during busy hours.

i come here on my breaks and in the morning for my coffee. I like, the staff pretty much knows me. very friendly. as for the food, its your typical subway. pros: clean spacious friendly staff cons: only one around the are, parking can be a little difficult crowded during lunch time

I have to say that this location has been better lately. Food is consistent, and service is fine if you get the right people. I would avoid at peak lunch times because it gets pretty crowded. Also, the staff seems to get pretty flustered with large crowds and can end up rushing you.
