Stylist Shake

Shake is one of the best colorists ever! She goes along with whatever wild thing I want to do and the results are phenom! Not to mention her cutting abilities — she knows how to listen and doesn’t have a problem if you see something you want changed. Shake has been my stylist for over five years and I would follow her no matter where she was. But thankfully she is right here in Downtown LA in the Macy’s Plaza. Parking is plentiful and validation is available.

Shake does men’s and women’s hair and is very skilled and experienced. Shake is always very friendly and is able to quickly and efficiently do your hair.
I have been going to her for a couple years now after just trying to find a stable barber in my area and was referred to her by a friend. With other barbers I had trouble explaining what I wanted and actually ending up with the style I wanted and especially since I’m paying Shake the same price I paid them it makes sense for me to get the exact cut I like (a Caesar) each and every time and its quick so I can get in and out with ease and onto the day which is important in my busy life.
She has taken me with and without appointment. If you don’t want to wait I highly recommend making a quick call and scheduling something as she gets really busy which to me showed that she values quality and has a strong repeat customer base.
I don’t know if she normally does this, but I hired her for my wedding to cut the grooms hair (a couple days before) and helped do the women’s hair the day of but I also booked this months in advance so she was able to accommodate and she may have done because I had been a customer for a while.
