The staff here is pretty awesome. They are always nice and helpful. Unfortunately this store is never stocked properly with the latest styles and medium-ish sizes. If I see something online that I like I can almost guarantee that they will not have it in this store or they won’t have it in my size. So if you stop by to shop and have something in mind, don’t bother.

Best clothing store in Downtown L. A! :) this store has an outfit for every occasion. This store carries a variety of trendy products, if you need a long lasting outfit this is the place to go to. The price you pay for clothing here is totally worth it. You will definitely find one of a kind, sexy, yet classy clothing here: D there is now a H&M down the street, but their clothes does not seem to last long. Express is one of the clothing stores you must check out in Downtown L.A.

Taking a walk through the Financial District or public transit in DTLA pretty much guarantees that you will see this store since it’s located right on the corner of 7th + Flower , directly across from the 7th Street/Metro Center Station as well as multiple bus stops. It’s a great location for them as their window displays get tons of passersby. I have definitely been lured into the store after work before upon seeing a nice dress on a mannequin or a giant sign advertising a big sale… then walked out with a purchase in hand shortly later. –__-«««« As with many other reviewers, my chief complaint is with how small the store is … which means less inventory for sizes, colors + styles. Sure they have a little bit of everything, but it often seems to be just enough that you find an item… but it’s not the size or color you want. There’s been multiple occasions where I’ve seen something I liked online + then couldn’t find it here… Or had to have this store check inventory at other stores for me to finally find the particular item. When I’m running around the Financial District in a pinch though, this is first place I’d recommend going to find reasonably priced Men’s + Women’s work or casual basics followed by the Macy’s anchoring this same plaza. If you’re on the Express email list or like their facebook page, there always seems to be a sale or a discount code on something as well. It’ll be interesting to see if they will keep Express as Macy’s Plaza undergoes its $ 160 million dollar renovations throughout 2014 to become The Bloc . If they do, I hope they make the store bigger! Especially with the new gigantic H&M + Zara stores opening up just a block away at FigAt7th as well as the Urban Outfitters on Broadway, this seems to be a sign that DTLA will soon become more of a shopping destination. But until then, this Express store does the job. The employees are nice enough, the sales floor is relatively clean, + the convenience factor of being right next to both a Victoria’s Secret + a US post office works well for me. They don’t validate Macy’s Plaza parking though(only at the Macy’s store).

This store is a little smaller than most Express stores; however it gets the job done. They always have a sale rack with really great items on it, and of course the typical express fashion. Last time I was there I bought 1 full price skirt($ 60) and 2 sale skirts($ 17 each). Great additions to my work wardrobe. Just a note, that this store is ideally located. It’s right by all of the office buildings in the financial district, and they sell great high quality work attire.

Good location in downtown LA. It’s a saver when you need a different dress shirt or dress for an impromptu party. There are plenty of coupon codes online and if you«like» their Facebook page, you can save yourself a lot of money.

Very crowded & not much selection of clothing I’d only go here if it was the last place open

This is a pretty good Express store considering that it’s small. However it doesn’t get a lot of traffic in the daytime so shopping around here is nice. The staff is also nice and attentive. The clothing is on the pricer end and sometimes the quality is lacking. I do love their work apparel, especially their pants and jackets. Some of their causal wear is nice too. I have also been able to find a nice dress from time to time.

They almost never have my size… They obviously have more of a selection for women’s clothing. But they have a decent selection for men. Express in general is expensive… my suggestion is get a coupon that they send out. Sign up for they mailing address. They send out great coupons now and then…
