stephanie played at my wedding on 9.29.12… she played beautifully and perfectly.
having spoken with her over the phone and corresponded with her over email sporadically for the past few months while wedding planning, she was the only vendor that i never met in person prior to the wedding. but i was impressed with her music samples online (at

) and her prompt responses via email. on the day of, everything was such a whirlwind that i was unable to introduce myself to her and so still (embarrassingly) have yet to meet her.
but i can assuredly say that ms. prather’s pieces brought an ethereal and intimate feeling to the ceremony. she played so fluidly, adjusting both the melody and the volume of the music to what was going on in the ceremony, that the harmonies seem to be intertwined with our ceremony rather than just the obligatory background music… if that makes any sense.
for her superb skill set, her rates (~$ 250/​hour) are amazing. setup took approximately 15 minutes, and she played while the guests were arriving, through my ~30 minute ceremony, and while the guests were departing the ceremony area.
i dont even remember how i found her, but i am so grateful that i did. for a frugal bride trying to make her dream wedding come true, stephanie was a godsend.
