Kids Music by Claire Mills

Thank you Unilocalers for helping me find Claire! Claire performed at my son’s 1^st birthday party and kept a crazy gaggle of kids aged 1 — 6 entertained, engaged and happy. So in addition to being wonderfully easy to book, here’s what I loved about Claire:
— She double confirmed that she was coming. Great sign that she’s so organized and responsive. One less thing for the harried party planner to worry about!
— She came in, set up and started engaging with the kids. Without prompting or questions — she just knew where the best spot was and how to get the kids interested.
— She brings so much fun stuff with her! In addition to her own instruments and microphone, she brings drums, tambourines, puppets, a parachute, bubble machine, and song accessories!
— She even does balloon twisting!
— She’s great with kids! Remembering names, making it personal, friendly and warm! She was able to connect with the younger kids and the older ones.
— She made my life so much easier during all of the party craziness. I think all of the other parents would agree — she kept the kids occupied and having fun, so they could relax a bit, too.
Can’t say enough about Claire — she’s fantastic!

Wow, if I could give Claire more stars, I would. She performed at my 2 year old son’s birthday party in our back yard. She was purely amazing. Claire has this incredible ability of getting all the kids (about 15 of them) interested and fascinated in what she was doing (prior to her arrival, they were running amuck in our yard!). She learned all of their names and made them each feel as if they were a part of the show. Her performance had the perfect amount of interaction and play. The parachute, the toys, the drums, the balloons, the bubbles — and she brought all of her own equipment. Claire is such a delight to be around and reads children so well. I felt so lucky she was there to keep everyone happy while my husband and I ran around frantically trying to get food prepared. The parents loved her as well (and loved getting to relax while their kids were squealing and dancing with delight!).
Thank you Claire! you made our son’s birthday so special!

Claire is so amazing ! She knows how to get attention of children and make them enjoy music time.
She came to our son’s 2 year old birthday party at the park.
I was a little worried before birthday since most children including my son don’t understand English.
However, she was soo professional about songs she picked and how to approach kids with different language by using unique instruments, puppets and other things to get attention from all children.
She knew that little children like 2 years old cannot pay attention that long, so she just keep trying different approaches to make them enjoy the entire time without getting board or tired.
She also played happy birthday songs for my son’s birthday cake cut and it was very unforgettable.
All my friends were very happy to see their kids participating her play :) ;)

If I could give more stars I would! Claire Mills is an amazing performer. We hired Claire for our sons combo First and Third birthday party at a nearby regional park. She arrived with plenty of time to setup, meet me, my boys and then started her performance. She has a great personality and really engages the children. My three year old was interacting with Claire’s music, the instruments and the kids at the party the entire performance. She really is amazing. My one year old was happy banging on the drum and shaking the instruments. She is great she held the attention of the kids even with the nearby park playground features.
If you are contemplating hiring Claire don’t have any doubts she’s super professional and is a blast to have at the party. The adults without kids a few weeks post our party were still amazed at her performance. She really is great.

Claire is amazingly creative with kids, using her voice and guitar as well as improvisational dress up and creative dramatics. I also had the pleasure of seeing her in action on the big stage at Universal City Walk a couple Halloweens ago — she can cater to the intimate and also the bigger stage show crowd. Very, very professional in all aspects of her business and performance!
