I visited the L.A. Live Starbucks twice during WonderCon 2016. Both mornings, the line was to the door – I was easily 20 people back. Still, I was through the line and out the door each time within 10 minutes. OUTSTANDING service on two very busy mornings. Well done!

This Starbucks is by far the best one I’ve ever been too. The service was AMAZING. I went today and it was crazy busy. Thought I’d never get to order but the line moved so smoothly. I ordered 4 drinks and some pastries. After I finished ordering, I walked over and in less than a minute, 3 of my 4 drinks were ready. Brandyn was so helpful and I asked several questions about their pastries and never once did he act as if I was bothering him with my questions. And one little thing stood out from one of the baristas that gave me a drink. He gave me my last drink and a little bit spilled out from the top and I thought he was just going to get a towel and clean what spilled from the top but he took off the lid and put a new one so it looked presentable. It says a lot about him and his work. I’m extremely happy with the customer service at this Starbucks. KEEPITUP!

Absolutely one of my favorite Starbucks because I go to that one frequently because it’s the closest one to my school. Anywho they have great service & they hardly mess up my drinks lol they have many power outlets which may come in handy. It’s always packed but your drink is ready in no longer than 7 mins after ordering

I like this Starbucks. I was attending Animé Expo at the LA convention center and this Starbucks is the closest to the convention center, so of course, I went here to get some healthy fruit snacks and drinks(Starbucks doesn’t just serve coffee and tea you know). I like that this Starbucks closes late at 1AM. Also, Starbucks is always awesome for free wi-fi. Service was top notch. It was crowded but all went smooth So, with that being said, Go Starbucks!

Nice and large area with a cool bar-like space. Convenient if you’re already at LA live. Staff was friendly. I’ve only had good experiences when I’ve visited this Starbucks. Can get little too crowded though, in my opinion.

This is the closest Starbucks near me so naturally I always end up there. Service is the worse here. I get same thing every time Caramel Latte. However, they still manage to get it wrong. This happened a few months ago. We went in a group of 6 people and i paid for all 6 coffes plus snacks. The reason I’m stating this because you would expect a little customer service when someone is spending their money with you. Instead they made me feel like a lier and a cheap because i tried to save 0.25 by placing a wrong order. So this is what happened… this chatting girl finally got time to take my order, I had to repeat myself a million times because she couldn’t hear me over her coworkers’ loud laughs. I finally placed my order of a TALL size CARAMEL latte. Well I was charged for a Grande I thought is ok let it go. Finally my coffee arrives and it’s a regular Latte. I asked her to fix my drink, she said her manager has to come out. Manager came out and first interogated me and than double check with the girl in front of me that I was telling the truth. Finally, she said sure we will make you a new drink but you have to pay 0.25 cents because u paid for the regular Latte. I couldn’t believe how rude and arrogant she acted. She made me feel like I was trying to save .25 cents by lying!!! So I had to charge my card for 0.25cents!!! You tell me is that customer service? I’m so disappointed in Starbucks.

This is the worst experience I’ve ever had buying coffee. My husband and I both ordered a grande mocha with one add shot of peppermint. We each had to get our coffees remade 4 times because they couldn’t make it right. The first time they had added peach instead of peppermint, then they gave us the wrong size, the third time both of our coffees tasted like old coffee and water, and the fourth time they added peach again. After the fourth time they still didn’t get it right so we just asked for a refund. I guess making a mocha with peppermint is to complicated for them here…

Horribly slow service. More employees than customers, and I waited forever for my ice tea. They also served the local folks, who came in after me, first. Lots of socializing behind the counter, not much work going on

This is a where I start my day once I arrive into Los Angeles in the early wee hour. I open my office, turn the lights on and take off with my co-worker in our company smart car. This location is prime considering it’s situated at ground level of LA Live. The wait time at this early hour is always moving and there is hardly any loss time. The baristas are good, fast and know us by our first names which is always A+. I’m not one to custom order a bizarre coffee so I either go with a house roast or I get my usual tall latte nice and hot. On a good note during the winter season, they do carry a select reserve and if I remember correctly they are Blue Java and the Jamaica Blue Mountain. Slightly more expensive than the regular house roast not only because they are rare but because of the type of machine they are brewed with(clover). The coffee is also brewed one cup at a time so it insures that you always get a fresh roast, world of a difference. Other reserves available year round. Parking is different just because it’s LA Live, the city doesn’t cut you any slack and your choices are limited. LAREINADELOSANGELESQUIRESUDINERO! Underground level parking, open lot or if you’re lucky metered. This is why I bring my co-worker to avoid any loss time parking and to endure a long walk. This store offers wireless and can accommodate large groups with plenty of seating area that offers booths, bar seating, regular and long tables. No shortage of electrical outlets to recharge that smart device we are so attached. My review is only for early morning hours and from what I’ve gathered from other customers, this place is open extremely late beyond normal store hours to accommodate sporting, concert, dining, shopping and any other outdoor activities this location has to offer. Oh and by the way, we alternate between this conglomerate coffee chain and a small independently owned coffee house: p

I’ve been here a few times when I visit LA Live from time to time and all I can really say is that the line for the restroom is always suuuper long, especially when there’s something going on at the Staples Center. Line for drinks/food isn’t usually as long but still somewhat painful. The space is large, but you probably won’t be able to find anywhere to sit just because there’s so much traffic in this location. The baristas took a couple of tries to make our drinks right, but at least they remade it. For a Starbucks, it’s a little shy of the norm, but given it’s location, that’s the best you’ll get here.

This Starbucks(SB) location is super convenient if you’re smack-dab in the middle of Downtown L.A. When I was living close by, I would stop by this SB location from time to time on my way to Target. It was never really crowded on a weekday morning(I would go early, around 8:15 a.m.), but I’m sure during the week, this location is bustling. Here’s what I would recommend: «Double Chocolaty Chip Crème Frappuccino Blended Crème»: Whenever I’m ordering frapps from SB, this one is my go-to and probably one of my favorites. I don’t get this frapp very often(simply because I don’t visit SB very often), but when I get something sweet, this is usually my choice. It features a creamy blend of rich mocha-flavored sauce, chocolaty chips, milk and ice and it comes topped with sweetened whipped cream and mocha drizzle. This drink is totally meant for chocoholics — the chocolate taste is definitely strong(until you reach the bottom of the cup and it’s more watered-down). I love mixing the mocha-flavored sauce in my drink and adding some of the chocolate powder to achieve a more chocolaty taste. But what makes this drink spectacular is the generous amount of chocolate chips studded throughout, which provide a welcome crunch. I always enjoy every single sip of this drink when I do order it. «Java Chip Frappuccino Blended Coffee»: Though the«Double Chocolaty Chip» is my go-to when it comes to frapps, when I need a boost of caffeine, I’ll switch things up and order the«Java Chip.» The two drinks are pretty similar because they both feature a rich mocha-flavored sauce blended with milk, chocolate chips and ice, but this drink includes coffee and is topped off with a chocolate-flavored drizzle. I loved the chocolate-mocha blend and this drink was sufficient in giving me the extra boost of energy I need for the day. Again, gotta love that extra crunch and texture from the ground-up chocolate chips. «Ham & Swiss Panini»: I prefer paninis over cold sandwiches, and when I dropped by SB for lunch one day, I got this classic ham & Swiss option. It came with ham and Swiss cheese with Dijon mustard on a focaccia roll. The barista asked if I wanted my sandwich warmed up, which I did, and I was able to enjoy a warm panini right there in the café. Getting your sandwich warmed makes all the difference, and I liked how the Swiss oozed out with each and every bite. Great choice if you’re looking for a more traditional lunch sandwich. «Chocolate Chip Cookie»: I haven’t tried the chocolate chip cookies from SB since the eatery changed their menu to feature the La Boulange sweets, but the traditional cookies still look appealing, as they feature semisweet chocolate chunks mixed in with chewy cookie dough. «Devil’s Food Doughnut»: Doughnuts are definitely a newer thing on the SB food menu – at least, I never noticed them before – and because I love devil’s food cake, I’m sure I would enjoy this classic, chocolate cake doughnut that’s topped off with sweet glaze. «Double Chocolate Chunk Brownie»: If I don’t get the cheesecake-infused brownie, this more chocolaty version would be my pick. It features a rich chocolate brownie with premium cocoa and generous chunks of chocolate. Brownies are one of my favorite snacks, and I love my brownies dense, fudgy and full of chocolate, so this option sounds perfect. I can’t wait to chomp down on those chocolate chunks one day. «Flourless Chewy Chocolate Cookie»: I didn’t even know that SB featured flourless cookies, and since I’ve tasted a flourless chocolate cupcake once – and it was one of the best I’ve ever tasted – I’m sure I would like this cookie. Though it’s crispy and chewy and studded with semisweet chocolate – and I prefer soft, chewy cookies over crunchy cookies – I’m willing to give this flourless chocolate option a shot because it’s so unique. «Classic Chai Tea Latte»: I’ve heard amazing things about SB’s «Chai Tea Latte,» but I have yet to try it for myself. It features spiced black tea blended with steamed milk. I only recently learned that black tea = caffeine, so if I do need an extra shot of energy but don’t want coffee, perhaps this famous tea drink will do the trick. I do like chai flavor – as long as it’s not overwhelming – so I’m definitely open to trying this drink someday. «Vanilla Bean Crème Frappuccino Blended Crème»: When I want a more traditional, simplistic drink and I’m craving vanilla, this option sounds absolutely perfect. I love the sweet and creamy taste of vanilla bean, and that’s what I would get when it comes to this drink. «Hazelnut Macchiato»: I would get this drink because of its hazelnut flavor … and I like anything that reminds me of Nutella. It features freshly steamed milk with vanilla syrup, espresso and a hazelnut drizzle. I’m sure the vanilla-hazelnut combo is light and sweet, and I would get this drink with a soy substitute as well.

There’s nothing like getting your favorite beverage from Starbucks after a game and before hitting the road on to traffic. .The LA Live area is a great place to hang out but the cost can be expensive.. Starbucks have there same original price, excellent service, and a great view of LA Live

I used to frequent this location 4 – 5 times a week when I worked at LA Live, and now no other Starbucks even compares. I absolutely love their morning shift baristas. Not only because they supplied me with my daily crack, but because they always remembered my order and greeted me by name, and with a smile. It’s always nice to have that level of service when you’re half awake and frantically trying to get to the office. I can barely remember my own name, let alone my complicated order. This particular location does get extremely busy(lines out the door), especially during concerts or sporting events, which is pretty much all the time. But the staff is pretty good about keeping the line moving and pushing orders out.

The service I received here was TERRIBLE! To start off I went Christmas Day, I understand that LA Live is really busy and all but that is no excuse for the way employees were acting that day. I went to the Ice skating rink with my family, the line was way too long so we decided to go to Starbucks. Because I had just arrived I only had a $ 100 bill, after being in line for 35 minutes I was next. I ordered 2 vanilla bean frappes making my order total sum up to $ 8.00– $ 9.00 dollars. The register lady saw I only had a $ 100 dollar bill and called her supervisor, confused I waited. The supervisor walks towards me and says in a very condescending tone: «It’s Christmas Day, the bank is CLOSED and we dont have change. I suggest that you go to YARDHOUSE and ask them to break your $ 100 and come back.» She then turned back to the baristas and yelled«Hold off on her drinks for now!» Not only was I embarrassed all the people in line saw but I felt stupid as I was basically kicked off line for having a freaking $ 100!!! As I stood their in disbelief my cousin(who witnessed the whole thing) walked up to me and loaned me $ 10 dollars to pay for my drinks. After walking away with my drinks I pretty much didn’t give a s*hit about them anymore as the lead completely ruined my mood. Thanks for sending me to yard house so that YOU could provide YOUR guests with service. Needless to say I called and complained, the manager was very apologetic and promised to send a gift card or something in compensation but I never received it. So yeah… if you go here, make sure you take a debit card, singles, and all that jazz, they might just send you to Yard House too if they don’t have change.

This is one of the 142103892480 Starbucks in Downtown LA, but this is the ONE right by LA Live, Staples Center, Marriott, etc. Of course it’s always busy as heck. Good thing is that they’re decent. They’re located right next to Yardhouse and a sports memorabilia store. And right across from the Nokia Theater. Kinda hard to miss — especially when there is always a long line.

Last night I visited Starbucks because my sweet daughter took me to a concert at the Nokia Theater La Live Old school performers were there, Cameo, The Dramatics, New Birth, Tierra and Rose Royce. The event was hosted by Eddie Griffin. This Starbucks was really nice the staff awesome and the ambiance very cool. I ordered a breakfast sandwich an english muffin with melted cheddar cheese, sausage and a fried egg, it was hot and soft just delicious a perfect meal to eat before I got my dancing groove on. I also forced myself to get an almond cookie(smile) The cookie was unique it was square and crunchy and when I broke it in half, the texture similar to a soft macron and tasted exactly like a coconut macron. I would definitely order these two again. FYI. This would have been perfect with a hot cup of coffee. The area very safe and secure, this is where you want to be if your hanging out late at night in Los Angeles. I had great food a jamming concert and spent time with my baby girl It can’t get any better than this… A happy Cali girl out on the town with my favorite person in the world.

I’ve always been a Big Fan of Starbucks but this location is in my Top 3. We ordered a Venti Pumpkin Spice Latte with 4 pumps instead of 5. Also ordered a Green Tea Frap with no melon syrup and Soy Milk instead of Regular Milk. I Love the way they made or drinks here. It was REALLYGOOD. I’ve had the same drink order for years but this particular had a special touch. The only downside, now that I know what GOOD taste like, any other Starbucks I visit will have to make my drinks just as good or better. The Best location, Fab drinks, clean area and prompt service. Yay Starbucks!
