A reviewer earlier mentioned that this was the worst Starbucks in the history of the world. I have to agree completely. It seems they can’t seem to hire anyone with the appropriate cognitive capacity to even take an order. Every single time I come here it seems they either get my order wrong or forget it completely. The baristas work slower than an over aged tortoise and still get the orders wrong.

Always out of something. Every single time. Never fails. The cashier is always mad or that’s simply her mood. The first few times I thought she was just having a bad day but ice been going there for almost a year and she’s been rude every single time :-(

So I have been going to this Starbucks for a while because it’s convenient and on campus, but they definitely take advantage of that fact. First their Starbucks rewards system has been down for the last month. Next, the ladies have ignored me numerous times when I want to place my order. Normally I wouldn’t care if you eventually get it right, but I know that’s not the case. They are not paying attention. I had a friend order a chocolate croissant which they wrote on the bag. She wanted it warm as well. Instead, she got a cold regular croissant. Not cool! There have been times when they don’t have certain menu items and I have to change my order. I wish I could get stars for rewards, but my coffee addiction is to real to ignore the Starbucks on campus.

Went here at 4:30PM on a Friday, and they were very closed. All dark, no one in sight. So much for the 6PM closing time advertised on and this Unilocal page. Didn’t even stay open until the 5:30 pm claimed on the campus dining page. Seems no one knows when this places actually closes.

Horrible service, am not sure if the employees do not want to work or a previous customer pissed them off, either way is not like their coffee is cheap to be getting such a bad service.

Quite possibly the worst Starbucks in the history of the world. It’s a tiny stand in one of the USC buildings. Now, just because it’s tiny doesn’t mean it’s terrible. It could be great if the service wasn’t painfully slow. My order has been wrong 2 out of 3 times. Le sigh.

Double check that the cashier gets your order correct. Twice I’ve asked for a decaf and twice they’ve had to remake my drink. I always check the markings on my cups and decaf is never selected so that’s how I find out. The cashier either doesn’t hear me or forgets to communicate this to the barista. If it happens once well it happens but if it happens twice that says someone is not paying attention.

So I went today to grab a quick drink before I start my night shift and when I walked in the guy told me they close at 6:30. The Starbucks website and the Unilocal site says they close at 7! I come here a lot, and the service is 50 – 50 some days you may catch the staff on a high and they’re really nice, but on others, they act like its a burden to make your drink.

That’s it! I’m fed up with this place. I really should take it to cooperate. I came here yesterday at 6:40 and they told me that they were closed when really their hours are suppose to be 630am to 7pm. And today I’m here at 5:30 and they told me that they closed at 515pm. WTF. Gave some lame ass excuse that their water isn’t working and«the city won’t let us operate». Horse shit.

I love the ladies at this location — they’re genuinely nice and such sweethearts. I mean, seriously, despite what the reviews say, they really are. HOWEVER, that’s pretty much it. They’re great people who get your coffee and that’s it. My honest opinion is that management needs to step it up here. From a managerial standpoint, my question is, why are there only 2 employees in the morning(7:45AM-9:00 ish)? I would really love to know why. Last time I checked, the majority prefer to get their cup of joe in the morning instead of the afternoon. I just can’t comprehend why this location has 2 employees in the morning and then 5 employees a little after lunch. Another issue that I have is people standing around behind the counter when there is a long line. Can management please have a morning huddle and perhaps delegate and then prioritize tasks? Is it too hard? I mean, it sure wasn’t for me back in the day when I was a barista myself. Maybe if those two things were to be addressed, this could be a five star location who could really tackle the morning rush and provide stellar service. But until then, two stars it is.

Yes it’s great that there’s a starbucks here on the health sciences campus. Your other coffee choice is from Einstein’s which is not that fantastic. Previously, they were not accepting starbucks cards both gift cards and gold cards, but that may have changed… Customer service-wise…If they’re not too busy, they’re friendly and helpful, but if you get there around lunch, you never know how the barista/cashier will respond to you. The drinks and food have both been consistently decent… as long as you aren’t expecting gourmet coffee and snacks, this is good.

So incredibly slow and inefficient. Not enough people actually working. There’s 5 to 6 people behind the counter all the time, but only 2 people that fascinating how slow the service is. Get your act together, college kids. People have things to do and places to be… perhaps try drinking some coffee and wake the eff up.

If I could chose less than one star I would. Worst Starbucks I’ve ever been to. My classmates and I always talk about how horrible the customer service is. The workers are rude, mean, and get your order wrong at least 50% of the time. Today they gave me a white mocha instead of a peppermint mocha and then started saying words to each other in Spanish that should never be allowed in customer service(I might be white but I grew up in Mexico, surprise). Avoid this sbux at all costs, the brewed coffee might not be as good at Einsteins but their customer service FAR surpasses sbux’s and they always get your order right.

My little cousin ordered a frap here today and they charged her 55 cents for whipped cream! No other Starbucks had ever charged me for whipped cream before so I find it odd that they would charge her for it. I usually ask for a cup of whipped cream at other Starbucks location for my dog and the workers always give it to me for free with no questions asked. When my little cousin told them that it was for her dog, the worker told the other worker and they both laughed at her. My little cousin is a young teen, so maybe just because she’s young, they thought it was ok to be rude to her. Worst Starbucks customer service ever.

As always … slooooooweeessst! Starbucks place ever! Always 2 – 3 staff when there’s always a huge line esp. In a Hospital n Health Science Campus. Dsnt matter what time … its like being at the 405fwy! Damn get more staff! Not over exaggerating bt just to order takes more than 10mins and to pick up another 5– 10. Timing it. Lacking customer service! Frustrating …

Rude staff. Not pleasant to go there. Today I asked for a half-caf, the girl looked at me like I was nuts, I had to explain what a half-caf was. She says, «we don’t have decaf here». Hello! Starbucks coined the term. I probably won’t go there again any time soon.

By far the RUDEST Starbucks staff!!! I have never been to a Starbucks where the employees are just rude and simply don’t know how to put a smile on their face. The only reason I still come here is because as a graduate student, I need my coffee. Overall the customer service at this location is horrible.

I love USC, and this campus site. Ive spent alot of time at this location and must say the staff are terrible! They charged me for my cofee refill, which after reading reviews here, is there policy. BS in my book. They should have told me that before charging my gold card. The barista didnt give me a lid for my cofee, and upon asking her for one, she rolled her eyes at me? Are you kidding!!! Very rude…

They finally accept Starbucks Cards! The line can be long, but if you catch it at the right time, it’s not bad. Always great to have a Starbucks on campus.
