My mother has been living at Sierra Bonita for the past 5 years after she broke her leg. The staff have always been attentive to her needs. She gets care there that you would not get at a larger facility. Even expensive nursing homes do not provide the individual attention that she receives. I would have given them 5 stars except that they do not provide outings for the residents as they are too small to have their own transportation.

I applied at this board and care and was amazed that they pay $ 9 an hour, and the employee is required to pay for fingerprinting, a first aid class, and a TB test. There is also a 3-day UNPAID training, which is not even legal… I was very qualified and she didn’t bother to call me back to tell me I had not gotten the position. Perhaps I should be glad I didn’t!
