Back when I use to live right off of Melrose, and next to Fairfax high school. I use to throw regular everyday parties with all the neighborhood star wannabeez, the strippers, the playboy girls, the aspiring musicians, and the best coke dealer ever. Well we would get fucked up, play games, and dare eachother. Well lets just say this coke dealer owed me something, and I picked his bracelet!!! This silver bracelet has been with me now for 4 years. He was a real spritiual dude like most drug dealers I know, he explained to me that this bracelet cost him $ 500 and was real special. Oh well he owed me and now its mine. I wear it everyday, and I get at least one compliment a day. He told me he bought it here, and the first time I ever went in the store wearing the bracelet, the lady right away said«I designed that». Personally I dont give a shit if she is lying, its my favorite piece of jewlery I own besides my rosary from Mexico. I love it the silver is thick, strong, and will probably last as long as I do on this earth!!! I checked out the rest of their selection and whether it her or some ghost designer, this is s good ass spot for some Silver.

I bought 2 small things. The lady said they’re «$ 22» & «$ 39» Totall without tax… $ 61. Okay. When I paid, the lady charged me $ 70.36!!! (She just typed the price.) WTF??? I asked her how it became $ 70.36. She said«Tax is now 9.25%. Everybody knows it .» Dahhhhhhh. Even with the tax it’s NOT gonna be $ 70.36. Obviously, She OVERCHARGED me !!! Everybody, be carefull!!! Don’t shop here!!!

I can tell Bebe who makes the jewelry at this place! Some silver jewelry wholesaler, that’s who. The stupid woman who runs the place claims to make it all herself: «one of a kind, baby, i make this myself, i used to be a designer for Chrome Hearts, you can’t get this anywhere else, honey, baby». WRONG. She is a liar and a cheat. I thought everything was fine and dandy and I liked the items in the store, until I had a piece break on me(no fault of my own, it broke at a weak point in the metal because the pendant was heavy). I assumed that since she made it that she could fix it, and hoped that she would stand behind the quality of her work. Nope. When I went in at first it was by chance so I didn’t have the broken necklace with me, but I asked her if she could fix it if I brought it in. She said she could so I actually drove back up to LA from SD the next weekend with the necklace. She looks at it and says, «oh, this is broken.» I sort of stared at her with confusion because, duh, that’s why I brought it to her, it was broken, yes. So she pulls out a pair of indelicate pliers and pries the silver jump ring out of the undamaged part of the linkage, damaging the jump ring and completely destroying the shape of it. She then smashes the broken part flat and tries to shove the opened jump ring through the too-small hole. It wasn’t exactly the sort of thing you’d expect from a professional. After trying this fruitless jamming for 30 seconds or so she says, «it needs to be welded, see, this piece here is broken and needs to be welded together.» NOKIDDING! If it were a simple fix that could be accomplished with pliers, I wouldn’t have had to bring it in, would I? This lady is like Captain Obvious and has accomplished nothing but further damaging my necklace. At this point she offered me the card of a jeweler who she says, «does work for her» and tells me she’ll call him and tell him to take care of me. This seems kind of fishy, considering that she claimed to make all the jewelry in the store by hand, but I figure maybe her welding torch is out of fuel or something and head off to the shop on the card. The guy there looks at it and then says he can fix it… for $ 40! He tells me, «it’s broken, it needs to be welded.» Wow, these people sure know how to tell me things I already know. At this point I flipped out a bit and asked why the hell I should pay for this when it was the manufacturer’s fault it broke in the first place. He and his shop boy looked really confused. The shop boy spoke better English and explained that they are only vague associates of Art Jewelry and that the stupid whore hadn’t called them or anything. He also said that she orders her stuff from the same manufacturer. Then he offered to pay me scrap for the necklace and sell me a different one. I’m not sure what kind of idiot he took me for. All in all these people are a bunch of liars and thieves. I’ll never set foot in that shop again.
