S & A Fabrics

Literally just walked out of this place with the Middle Eastern guy that works there cussing at my partner and I. We were looking for table cloths, but wanted to compare pricing and quality. The man was sitting in front of the door on a crate, and wouldn’t let us in until we said we’d buy and not just look because people would always go in and look without buying– already pushy and rude. Of course, we said we wouldn’t buy unless we could see the product. We felt that it was thin, and we said so. At which point he began to lose his temper and pulled the tablecloth from my hands as I was inspecting it. When we ultimately decided that we would rather go somewhere else because we weren’t completely satisfied with the product, he began trying to argue with us. My partner and I remained calm, but he raised his voice at my girlfriend and I couldn’t stand for that. I grabbed her hand and walked out. He called us mother f*ckers as we walked out.
I work retail, I understand that it can be stressful and there are goals that need to be met, but I’ve never cussed out my clients because they didn’t want to buy from me.

Great customer service! Staff is very friendly and the owner is very nice. Prices are ok :) they have a lot for you to choose from! Parking can get complicated. Try to go early during the week there will be less ppl and you might be able to find parking right in front of the store just make sure you have quarters for the meter and if you are planning on walking around there is a parking lot across the street for about $ 4 all day

In the Fabric District at 9am… this place had just opened and they were putting bolts outside. Super cheap fabric is not even adequate. Some of the stuff isn’t AS cheap, but it’s way better than I’ve seen for what I got (sequined fabric).
The owner is very sweet! Really great guy to do business with. I HIGHLY recommend starting one end of the street (S&A) is on the corner– and working your way down one side then the other! SO MUCH TO SEE!!!

Super cheap fabric, in and out quick service. free parking is a bit of a stinker this part of town. but plenty of pay lots and meter parking.

Love coming here, great selection of fabric in a variety of colors. They specialize in table cloths, runners, overlay, chair covers, and sashes too. If you are too lazy to sew your own, just buy their already made ones.
Victor is sooooo freaking awesome to work with, his boss is lucky to have such a hard working employee that knows his stuff. He makes the whole shopping process so painless and easy! He went out of his way to provide me with swatches in different material as well as cut me sample strips on the fabrics that I couldn’t decide on. Everything here is high quality.
Prices are more than reasonable here and they’re opened 7 days a week! Don’t bother looking anywhere else, save yourself the trouble and come straight here!
