I had the same Filipino worker take my order as the other Unilocalers. This experience is kind of strange, the person should not be working in customer service. Rude? Unhelpful? Frustrated? Lost? Cheap? Note the? mark I don’t think he even knows about it. I guess that is what he felt about him self that is why he treats the customers in a strange way. I felt sorry for him, he should not work in a candy store where people are happy and friendly.

Went to this place after reading the reviews. The reviews are not warranted, this place is friendly, good service, lives up there reputation for the name. Samples are offered, stuff is freshly made and looks so yummy

Woohoo! I found a chocolate store inside a DTLA’s office building. I got my sea foam chocolate($ 1.97) for dessert and it was good. Friendly and helpful worker. 4 stars! Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory is yummylicious!

One star since nobody is in store to man front counter. Their loss. Could have had some $$$

I wish Unilocal had the ability to give places no stars or a half star because that’s what this place has deserved in my book, What does it have to offer? For starters, poor customer service and zero courtesy. The only person(maybe Filipino?) that runs this shop for who knows how long has bogus prices for his smallest chocolates. I decided to walk in this shop during my lunch hour as I was craving some sweets. Needless to say, I walked out with an aggravated experience. I was next in line and in front of the cashier ready to buy some almond bears, and instead of the guy serving me, he points to the person right behind me asking for his order!!! I told him, «Excuse me, I’m the next one in line». He still refused to serve me and that’s when I decided to walk out. Don’t come here people. My coworker was also given an attitude by him, so it’s not just me that he has given a hard time to. Horrible place, I hope he gets replaced!

I rarely write Unilocal reviews, but just experienced one of the most aggravating 5 minutes of customer service in my life which is now inspiring this review. The guy who works there… OMG, what a nutcase. He transplanted me to Asian markets from childhood where the merchants are aggressive and in your face as soon as you express interest in their goods. I was under a time crunch to get a last minute gift for my boss so this shop was unfortunately guaranteed my business today, but will know better to avoid this place in the future. On top of his rude, bossy manner he had the nerve to judge me on an add-on item I picked. Seriously?! Don’t you want me to spend $$ in your store? Never getting a cent from me again and no thank you to the second offering of untasty samples you offered.

Bad customer service. I asked how much for the candy apples. They said $ 6. I was then asked if I was giving them to someone. I said yes. They charged me $ 15.00 for the two apples, when I asked why they said it’s an extra $ 1.50 for each. It’s such a petty thing to do and the charge is ridiculous. I can’t do business with them anymore. I hated paying the extra $ 3, $ 15 for two candy apples is outrageous.

The guy that works here is a douchebag. In fact, if more than one customer DARES enters the place, he gets all sweaty and frustrated… visit from aunt Flo? no… worse than menopause. I went in reluctantly, thinking I might place a VERY large order of caramel apples as birthday favors for my little munchkins and he’s like, «It’s just me here, can’t you see? I can’t do orders.» Uh huh… Okay… When I said, reluctantly, the last time I got a caramel apple here it was a bad apple. Super nasty, looked like it had been sitting there for months. Still… I thought maybe it was a fluke and went in to place the order anyway, but what do you know? He doesn’t want to make a sale.

Chocolate covered strawberries for my valentine.(The big peanut butter cup was amazing, too!) You can’t go wrong with this store.

The employee here is very rude. He gets frustrated and flustered when you order multiple items. Very small rocky mountain chocolate compared to other stores with a very limited selection. I would rather go to another location with better service and more selection.

justin, the main honcho over here is the epitome of customer service… he should head a «customer service» seminar for all DMV and bofa credit card phone reps & earthlink phone reps could use it too… they have candied apples w/everything you can imagine. and sugar free chocolate thingys its pricey. one candied apple & one tiny sugar free choco thingy almost $ 8 but well worth it… & justin will quarter your candied apple & offer damp paper towels for you… (i was kinda hesitant to try one of their decadent apples but at my sisters urging & justins urging, i gave in.) perfect gifts here… parking sucks, even walking uphill to get here super suckss… take the«A» dash. or hike.(fatso) you;ll have to after leaving here…

Damn you, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory! I’ve been trying to eat healthy! I’ve been attempting to lose weight! But YOU, you and your delicious chocolate fudge with marshmellows and white chocolate and rice krispies, had to taunt me until I bought a $ 4.25 package. Now I’m going to sit here, at work, and eat every single piece — not because I want to, but because you won’t stop calling my name. Why couldn’t you make the chocolate dipped apples tempt me instead? At least there’s fruit in those delicious things. But no, instead I get pieces of butter and sugar, which is going to go straight to my big olé belly. Thanks a lot. (Grrr.)
