Great service, great attitude, no pressure on the sale, very knowledgable, an overall excellent experience. I went here looking for an engagement ring, he took the time to listen to the type of ring my wife had her eye on and then was quick to point me in the direction of something that is truly beautiful, and for a great price! I’ve since been back to visit and I was instantly welcomed into the store as if I was part of the family. I’ve since gotten the ring and some earrings from Hampy. This is certainly the shop I’ll be using in the future. Oh, and my wife loves him too.

Hampy was great, he gave me a good price, was informative and he went the extra mile. This was the first shop I visited, I went to several others after for peace of mind and ended up going back to Ritz! I was skeptical about going to the Jewellery District for an important piece but I highly recommend here.

Everyone on here pretty much summed it up = Hampy is absolutely friendly, knowledgeable and not pushy in any way! We have been going to him for over 30 years. My cousin found him and referred us and we have referred many and all my family won’t go anywhere but here. We’ve always lived a ways away but the trip is worth it and now we live in the high desert but will still only go to Ritz Jewelers. Looking forward to seeing them again in a week or two as we have friends getting married and you know what my response was lol.

14 years ago my girlfriend (now Wife) and I were confused little kids (22 and 19 yrs old) exploring the jewelry district looking for wedding bands. We got there bright and early to discover that everyone was still closed. As we wandered around we saw a single shop owner inside setting up his window display who gave us the biggest smile and waved us in and unlocked his door to opened early. The man was Hampy the owner of Ritz Jewelry who not only was friendly, but he had great prices and a great selection of everything! The best part was Hampy did not just sell us rings, but took the time to educate us on the jewelry to make sure we knew what we were buying. The first experience was so great that I have never shopped anywhere else in the last 14 years. I have sent numerous friends and family to them and have ALWAYS been thanked from everyone! The compliments are echoed of their good prices, professionalism and stellar service. When I walk in I am greeted like as if I were a family member, the first question is always «how are your babies?» Or «how is your beautiful wife» which is crazy that he and his wife remember their names! The personal service is unmatched and really unheard of in this day and age.

I came to downtown for a Christmas gift, and found Ritz Jewelers, an oasis in the midst of all the hot air. Hampy helped me find the perfect ring for my wife. He was honest, knowledgable, and not pushy. Thanks for the cappuccino, I’ll be back for Valentine’s Day!

Honest, friendly, and not pushy. What more can you ask for in the often difficult and annoying waters of the LA Jewelry District? I’m glad I have a place staked out so that in the future I won’t have to wander around until I feel unclean.
