I wish I could give Raffinee Catering zero stars, they are the most unprofessional business I have ever dealt with and are a bunch of scam artists. I had the same issue as other reviewers, and I only wish I had seen the reviews before I purchased the cooking class deal through Eventbrite. After several scheduling shuffles and finally a complete cancellation of the class, I left several voicemails and sent emails to the company requesting a refund. Gabriela Interiano finally responded to my email in January offering a litany of unbelievable excuses(death in the family, lost phone, hacked email systems, etc.) and offered a refund. I replied the same day that I would like a refund… and three emails to her later… I have heard absolutely nothing. Run far away from this company and Gabriela Interiano, as they will leave you only disappointed.

Beware! SCAMEARTISTS! These guys likely are scam artists! I also bought a living social coupon for a cooking lesson. There were never any availability on their website to sign up for a class. They also did not return emails until I found them on FB. They reply stating that they never received my messages and proposed nicely to extend my coupon pass the expiration deadline on living social. Naively, i agreed. Then there were no more classes offered on their website and I never heard back from them again after repeated emails and phone calls. I suspect, they just needed me to not report to living social before the deadline so that there won’t be any refunds. I no longer belong to Living Social for not vetting their vendors. Please beware!!!

Another bad experience. I bought a living social deal for their cooking classes around March/April time, as of December still no class. I received credit back from living social when I complained. They cancelled TWO classes on me at the last minute. Not good business, I understand it may be beyond their control. However a good business always has a back up plan and staff on standby so not to inconvenience the customer.

I had a bad experience with Raffinee Catering. I signed up for a cooking class through livingsocial. I signed up for the date I wanted to attend, when I arrived there, I was told by Chef Gabby that there was a mistake with overbooking and that my class was cancelled, I could either come back in a few hours for a class or reschedule, she also told me it was not their fault, I’m not sure if she was putting the blame on the place where the cooking classes were held(restaurant supply co) or on living social, but regardless, I felt it was unprofessional, she also said she would call me that afternoon to reschedule, which she did not. I had to call her a couple of times before I heard back from her via email(which was fine), saying I could reschedule another class and take another person with me at no extra fee or get a refund, again saying it wasn’t their(Raffinee) fault. I said I just wanted a refund, didn’t get an email back from her and I had to follow up with a phone call days later, she emailed me a couple days after that saying she’s busy and would call me to get my credit card info for refund and to have my credit card info ready because she had to get this done very quickly? I never received that call from her. I felt she was unprofessional, rude and couldn’t take responsibility for the class cancellation.
