Suck a random little place I found OMG addicted… I LOVE this place, not only is the phở amazing here. The prices are insanely reasonable. The service… Forget about it, the nicest happiest most attentive people I’ve ever met. I liked it so much I brought two other friends already and they are in love. I wanna order other things but I’m stuck on #28 rare steak phở. $ 6.50!!! It’s a must try *to use credit cards it must be over $ 10 *closed on tuesday

Probably the best phở restaurant I’ve visited in SoCal. The phở ga(chicken noodle soup) was flavorful and hot. It had plenty of chicken pieces in it. The phở bo was also really good. It had plenty of beef pieces and came out just as hot as the phở ga. Lastly, the banh beo was really really surprisingly good! It was topped with plenty of shrimp, green onions, and fried pork skin pieces. With the added nuoc mam, it was absolutely yummy! I would go as far as saying it was the best banh beo in all of California. I’ve eaten at many restaurants in the bay area and SoCal, but I don’t know of a place with better banh beo. Also, the service was quick and friendly. I don’t understand why so many people go to Saigon Dish in L.A. The food was not very good at all. The only thing they have going for them is their really good and friendly service. Don’t waste your time waiting in line at Saigon Dish if you have time to drive here instead. If you enjoy good Vietnamese food, I’d definitely hit this place up – even for the discerning Bay Area taste buds.

The food here is amazing and great, the prices are also good. But there are some negatives, the service is pretty bad. My original waiter left didn’t tell us he is leaving, when I asked for the check the guy asked how much tip I’m going to leave? Then he didn’t know how the credit card machine worked took 15 minutes. I hope they get there and together.

Tonight was our first night ordering from here– the only reason I’m giving them 2 stars is because the food was decent. I had 2 main issues: 1)We ordered delivery & was told that the food would arrive in 20 min. After 50 min, I called back to check in & they said that the driver had left a while ago & should be there any minute. 30 minutes later– still no food. I called back & they said that the driver should be there within 15 minutes. I live less than 5 minutes away & could have picked the food up if I had known it would be 90 minutes. Don’t promise 20 minutes & deliver in 90 minutes AND charge me for delivery. That’s just bad business! 2) We ordered 4 dishes &1 was completely wrong. I called them to let them know. They said they’d call the driver & have him pick it up. I told them that they don’t even have to bring another dish if they were too busy, but I’d at least like a refund for the dish I didn’t receive. The driver called me & said he’d come back. It is now 4 hours later & nothing. I just have the wrong order packed up & ready for him to pick-up. They don’t take credit cards(they said their machine was broken) so I know I won’t get refunded. I feel pretty jipped– not because it was a lot of money but out of principle. For the 3 dishes we did have: Egg rolls– the bomb! The only reason I gave them 2 stars. I might give them a second try(pick-up, not delivery) just for the egg rolls. Vietnamese crêpe– it was alright. I’ve had better, it was a little too greasy & the crêpe was too hard. Shrimp & crab udon– again, it was alright but a little too greasy.

Stopped in for takeout at this storefront mini-mall location. Very good service, nice people, and excellent food at reasonable prices. You can’t really ask for more than that. I will return.

I started my meal with some delicious Banh Beo(Steamed Rice Cake w/Shrimp). After, I had a bowl of «Phở Viet Cali» and had a side of Cha Gio(Vietnamese Egg Rolls). I was definitely satisfied with my meal today.

This place is hard to find off the main street since it’s behind a Just Tires store(and you have to pull in the driveway towards the mini-mall, NOT Just Tires b/c it’s not connected). However, it’s a nice little joint with some not-so-familiar finds for Vietnamese food. I’m not an expert but I watched lots of Bourdain ;), and trying the Banh Beo was a little gem featured here. It’s like a open-faced dim sum as it’s a round rice noodle steamed with a bunch of flavorful toppings of dried shrimp, scallions, garlic etc. rounded out by that great fish sauce to top it. Loves it. I also had the Crab and Shrimp Udon Flat Noodle which was lovely for a cold weather craving and it had REAL crab with large shrimps and a great udon noodle in a thick soup. My other new find was the Vietnamese pancake which I ordered my first time there. Again, packed with flavor and I love the chewy rice noodle wrapping which is not what i’m typically used to but loved. This is definitely going to be on our rotation when we’re in the mood for Vietnamese food b/c it gives you the variety of choices not typical in many Vietnamese restaurants. We used to only frequent the usual Phở joints in the Valley but this is a great addition!

Yum! This place is delicious. A great place to eat Vietnamese food when I’m feeling homesick. The bun rieu was tasty. They give you real crab in it! Reasonably priced and tastes great. Can’t ask for more!

I tried bun rieu cua, a crab and vermicelli rice noodle soup, and it was very good. The soup had real crab in it, and generous pieces of tofu too. The accompanying plate of toppings for my soup offered lime wedges, sprouts, mint, and sesame leaves. I would not go out of my way to dine here, but it’s great for the area. I devoured the whole bowl of soup and was very satisfied and full.

it’s great to have a restaurant that reminds me of my family’s cooking so easily accessible. i’ve been here a handful of times and each time i left full and happy. i especially like their banh beo. the service is quick and friendly and you don’t have to worry about exceeding your lunch hour if you come here. what’s unique about this place is that they pickle garlic slices. nowhere else that i’ve been to does this. it’s quite delicious on everything. don’t believe me?! try it for yourself! :p

Got take out from Phở Viet Cali this weekend and I’m a fan. Move over Phở So 1 and Phở 999, there’s a new spot in town. The restaurant is small but very comfortable. The décor is welcoming and the staff is very friendly. The menu is easy to follow and not over whelming with too many options. Orders the lemongrass chicken and charbroiled pork(came out to just over $ 15). It took about 15 minutes and each order came with a pickled vegetable side, sauce and an option of steamed rice or broken rice. I ordered steamed rice with both dishes. The food was flavorful, fresh and well presented even as a to go order. Can’t wait to go back and try the rest of their menu including the fried catfish and hot pot.

I am so happy to have found this gem! It’s a bit sad though because this used to be a Korean place I used to go to but I guess it went out of business. The food was ! There is so much to choose from so I will most definitely be back. We ordered the following items: 1. #15 Steamed Rice Cake with Shrimp /Banh Beo /$ 5.50 — this was great and I loved that the fried onions added so much flavor. I couldn’t fully enjoy it because it was brought out after our main course dishes and we were already pretty full. Wish they brought it out first since it is an appetizer. 2. #63 Crab and Shrimp Udon Flat Noodle or Glass Noodle Soup /Banh Canh/Mien Tom Cua /$ 6.50 — I ordered the soup with udon noodles(my favorite type of noodles) and man am I craving it now! They weren’t skimpy with the crab and shrimp either. The store has some sort of garlic sauce to compliment the soups and this literally made everything taste so delicious!!! We put that on everything. 3. #78 Chicken Special /Com Ga Viet Cali /$ 7.75 — my boyfriend saw a photo of it on the menu and he said it didn’t disappoint. Quoting his words«It was the perfect combination of juicy and crispy, the chicken wasn’t dry at all.» All of our food came out to $ 21.53. What a steal! We were so full by the end of it that we didn’t even have room in our stomachs to finish the Banh Beo. This place is very cozy and I can see it getting busy. Our server Anh Tim(sp?) was such a sweetheart and was great at recommending and explaining some of the menu items to us. I will definitely be going back!

Great local restaurant. Food was really good and the prices were surprisingly very reasonable. Each of our bowls were $ 6.50. Word to the wise — the«regular» size bowls are big enough for one person; the large portions must be just huge. So no need to spend extra on «large» bowls. Lots of parking in the plaza. Would definitely come back.

There sure are a lot of Phở places popping up all over the valley, especially in and around Reseda. Phở Viet Cali is one of the new ones and located on corner strip mall on Lindley & Saticoy. We came in for a quick bite and the restaurant was pretty empty when we arrive. I usually expect a bustling crowd on a Friday night, but I guess not tonight. Everything looked clean and spotless, including the utensils which is a good sign. They even have a few flat screen TV tuned to movies while you eat. Our orders were taken and came out pretty quickly. We had the mixed seafood soup with glass noodles and seafood fried rice, which was totally fine but just nothing to get excited about. The broth from the noodles were tasty and seafood was tender. Prices were also easy on the wallet($ 7-$ 8). However, portions were small and usual phở accoutrements were minimal. Only bean sprouts, few slices of jalapeño and wedge of lime were provided. Even the fried rice portions were small and taste average. Overall — This place wasn’t too bad, but with so many better phở options up the road that a return visit will probably be while.

This place was so bad. I visited this restaurant today with my grandmother, grandfather, and two of my cousins. I ordered the filet mignon phở, fried calamari, wonton egg noodle soup, rice with tau hu ky, and dry glass noodle. My phở did not have any filet mignon, it had tenderized beef and the soup was way too overpowered with seasoning. Please see photo for reference. My grandmother’s rice with tau hu ky had unseasoned ribs. My grandfather’s dry glass noodle came with soup but the soup was extra salty. My cousin’s wonton egg noodle soup had meat(extremely tiny portions) fall out of the noodle. Her soup was drenched in garlic. We all had water except for my grandfather who had lemon/salt soda. He said the soda was doused in salt. The only good thing about our meal was the fried calamari. The service was decent and the workers were nice. I wanted to give this place more than two stars but unfortunately the experience did not live up to my expectations.
