This location has existed since I was a kid. Styles have drastically improved. However, their shoes aren’t the most comfortable nor are they the most inexpensive you can find. It’s probably best to wear their shoes for short periods of time; walking around the mall in a pair of Payless flats hurt my arches from lack of support/​cushion. Some of their shoes cost $ 40 – 60 but most are $ 30 and under. You should just take advantage of their BOGO (buy one get one 50% off) deal which occurs quite often. I personally prefer paying the same amount, or even a bit more, for designer brands that feel waaaaay more comfortable.
Overall, they still remain on my radar for footwear emergencies or occasional shoes, like Halloween shoes I’d wear once or twice.
