I eat here because it’s convenient and it sometimes has good pastrami. The problem is they are very inconsistent. The prices change depending on the cashier, the food changes depending on the cook, and even the beverages taste different at times. They added healthier choices which is good but it’s time to let this place go.

According to their business schedule, they open at 8 am. I arrived at 8 and they were completely closed– chairs on the tables, all lights off, everything locked. However, I was able to see what appeared to be the cook(s) and another gentleman eating their breakfast inside.

Excellent food!!! I go at least once a week. I usually order for friends and family all the time. Their burgers are great and are always HOT, fries are great and the chili cheese fries are awesome. Everything i have ever eaten or ordered there is delicious. Their hot sauce is great too.

Eat HERE! Not only is the food consistently delicious and the prices are execptional but the warm service and familiar atmosphere is par for the course here at Patras! Today I ordered the Signature Patras Cheese burger on a sesame seed bun and these crispy and fluffy frech fries. The flavors were so on point that I literally closed my eyes while eating this splendid meal. Hot and always cooked to order, this is a regular go-to dinner for me and family. The booths and short drive-thru add a certain vibe about this place. A sort of wonderful nostalgia of a younger Los Angeles is triggered by dining here. One last recommendation that i simply cannot forget… buy a Milkshake !!! They are genuine actual Milshakes!(I even order them when the weather is cold lol) So good!

…while the décor is a bit drab, their food and customer service is tops… they have DEFINITELY keep progressing as the years go by… their shakes are a taste treat… Not to mention they have a wide variety of healthy food options and of course the typical American food based fanfare…

I visited Patra’s Charbroiled Burgers, kind of a divey spot at an odd slice of an intersection, to check out their healthier food options, as Patra’s says it is «Home of the Jamie Oliver Revolution Burger.» And indeed, Jamie Oliver has his name on a small part of the menu, from which I chose the«Green Goddess» burger — angus beef(100% grass fed meat, as all their burgers are) topped with mixed greens, charred pepper salsa, & guacamole on a wheat bun, and it came with a side slaw salad of shredded cabbage & carrots in a vinaigrette. I absolutely loved the burger. It was so full of flavor — spicy from the charred peppers, creamy cool from the guac, savory meatiness from the beef. The mixed greens added a nice crunchy texture. The burger is pretty sizable, and the wheat bun is sturdy enough to support everything. The slaw was cool, crunchy, tangy, and refreshing. I left feeling so happy that my food was so super delicious but also healthy and filling! I didn’t feel gross and sluggish like I do after a less fresh or a greasy meal. Their menu also has sandwiches, fried chicken, Mexican food, and breakfast. The parking lot is very small. They have a drive-thru, but since the food is made-to-order, it can be pretty slow.

Stop to order at the drive through and no one to take my order ! Drove up to the window and the order lady was busy taking counter orders then phone orders and ignored me for 5 minutes after waiting for 10 minutes still no order ! I left and well never recommend or go back again ! Horrible experience !

Do not tell my fellow Silverlakian hipsters about this place. They’ll overrun it. Sure Umami burger is yummy, but nothing beats a cheap, simple, old fashioned classic cheeseburger and fries from Patra’s. It’s the best! Please don’t get the word out. ;-)

First time going yes i know what’s wrong with you lol Yes i’ve lived in highland park my whole life and been past patras into cypress umpteen times but never went. Boy was i dumb honestly i really think patras is waaaay better then troys. The prices the taste te amount of food is amazing. My parents love it and they are picky !! We ordered chicken dinner for pops, mom had a chicken taco salad and i had the chili cheese fries and cheeseburger. Everything was made fresh even the taco shell for my moms salad. I can’t say enough about patras but my family wants to go back for breakfast lol

Patras is like vegas and not in a good way its rolling the dice on dinner sometimes its good some times its bad and when its bad its really bad … I’m talking I’ve gotten sour rotten beans with my breakfast on 3 different occasions, some long ass hair in my pastrami, super greasy burgers and finally today a burned black hockey puck like burger … On my double cheese burger … I’m done giving this place chances if its not horrible food its horrible service

This place is hit or miss. Depends on who is taking your order, who is cooking and how many people are there. Above Average drive thru food, just wish it was more consistent.

Mortitia Addams must have decorated the dining room at Patra’s. Their favorite decorative item is twenty year old sun bleached artificial flowers encrusted in dust. They look like they swiped them from a derelict cemetery.

Patras is located across from Sotomayor High School. I live so close to this restaurant, but I never gave it a try until now. I honestly think this place is good. My family loves this place, but I never wanted to eat here. I was always just trying to stick to Cypress Best. I found out that their chili cheese fries are delicious. They have so much cheese I love it! The fries are so good, I love them. I also give it to their fried chicken I loved every bit of it. The cashier was very nice, and apparently according to my parents one of the workers there has been working there for many years, and he is always smiling and cracking jokes which I find awesome. The place does look a little dirty from the outside, but it is clean inside. I also noticed there was a worker cleaning when I was there. This is a small neighborhood burger place. When I came here there was a lot of people, but I think it is because there is a high school across the street so there is a lot of students after school. If you want to eat peacefully do not be there around 3 – 4 p.m. There is also traffic at that time, so it’s a bit hard to get there, because there is students getting picked up and there is cars coming from San Fernando rd. There is also a drive thru, but the menu is overwhelming, because there is so much on there. It is a good place to go eat lunch with some friends and catch up. It is not fancy so I do not recommend taking anyone on a date here.

Apparently they had a menu makeover and added some healthier alternatives! I was tempted to try them but as usual once I was there I stuck to my regular Cheeseburger combo with Chili Cheese fries! I don’t know what it is maybe it’s just the nostalgia hitting me of my childhood days! This place is just somewhere I love to stop by and grab a burger! Crispy lettuce, big thick slices of tomato, the meat patty charbroiled and slices of pickles! It’s a simple burger that just tastes incredible! The chili cheese fries are also a must for me! They melt the cheese with the heat of the chili and fries! My fries are NOT shoved in the microwave for a minute to get the cheese melted! It’s either a small or large there is no medium! This also applies to the drink sizes! Medium has become obsolete here! The employees here are not friendly nor are they rude! Although I already know what I’m going to get! I still always find the need to stare up at the menu for minute(It’s just a habit) the lady stands there patiently as I do this! Drive-thru can be slow, so if it’s to go it would be a good idea to call ahead! The two star markdown would be for the restroom! It is disgusting! I will not let my kids go in here at all! If you drop a deuce everyone on that side of the restaurant will know! Ventilation is something the owner needs to invest some money in! Parking is five spots total but there is parking on the One Way street! Three stars!
