New York Cuts

Been getting my hair cut here for over 6 years now. Steven is a master at what he does. Shop has a super cool and clean environment. Down to earth barbers. Always a lot of parking available. I highly recommend checking them out. You won’t be disappointed.

The best cuts in LA. Period. Ask for Albert. He’s cut my hair for years. They make you feel comfortable. And I always leave satisfied after a cut. Very fresh detailed fades.

No manners what so ever! Did not get greeted upon entrance. My daughter and I walked in there accompanying my husband for a beard trimming. One guy gave as a slight hello and another just bobbed his head. There was this guy on right that made no eye contact and instead was all into his phone. We weren’t sure if he was a barber there or not and no one explained if he was or not. I asked him if he cuts hair and he said «no I’m just his homey» and pointed to the guy in the middle cutting another guys hair. He was a total douche about it too. We tried to put it aside, but couldn’t, the «homey» kept playing very inappropriate music for my daughter to hear. Also there was another lady with her son there and this «homey» did not seem to care about it either. He was playing music from The Weeknd and the lyrics were saying some thing about «opening your pussy» that’s when we said lets go! I’m all for The Weeknd. In fact, I like his music. But, this is supposed to be a professional place and if you see children in the waiting area, come on change it! I thought I was being a typical girl that did not understand that this may be a «man’s place» but even my husband shared the same feelings with me. I do not recommended this place for children to be present at all!

Good Barbershop in the area I live in. The wait isn’t insane yet because they are new to the are, with a sister store in Eagle Rock. It gets busier each time I go. Looks like Albert is the main man from my observation. He is vey nice or very customer centric. Does a nice cut. He is very focused. The other Barbers (two other have cut my hair) did a good job. I would trust this place for a good cut.

I’m very particular about my hair. Needless to say, I definitely came to the right place, and the right barber with Albert. His work ethic shows with every razor cut; every move is precise, as though he knows exactly what move you hope he makes next. The shop is very clean and street parking is easy to find. Cuts like this make you want to return every other week.

I came across this barber shop to try it out for my first time and when I left I was disappointed Worst barbershop I ever been too! NEVER will I come back. I would give no stars.

These guys are great! Been going to the York shop for a while & they know how to give this middle aged man a fresh, clean cut & still look age appropriate, not like I’m trying to be a 20 something again.
The women really notice and I get more attention from them after each visit.
As a lifelong HLP resident, it’s great to have a local shop that knows their stuff.

Same new york cuts. Closer to home. The precision Albert displays in his cuts are beyond exceptional and atmosphere inside the chop shop is the same if not better. Highly recommend.

My boyfriend has been cutting his hair here for years, first at the other location & now here, & Steve always makes sure he looks fresh, if you’re looking for a «usual» barber, I definitely recommend you guys try this place out, they do exactly what you want & you won’t ever want to go anywhere else again

First off Great Barbers, Great atmosphere my go to guy is Albert. Very professional and skilled barber. Can definitely Style Anyone From that Mohawk to The Professional Taper. If I could give more Stars I would. I recommend setting appointments for Faster Service.

This new spot is right in my neighborhood. I use to drive out to the original location on York every week. These guys can cut hair better than your family member will for free. Steven, O’Grady, Earl, any of them can get down. Bulli$h!ting before during and after your haircut like a good Barbershop should be.
