Mobile Notarys

I wish I could give them 0 stars if possible. My husband and I feel so cheated after using their service. A person named Tenia came in after we called her. We verified with her many times with regard to any extra charges that we would be subjected to apart from the $ 10 for notarization. She however did not mention that there would be any extra fee for travelling. Since we were using the mobile service for the first time we too were unaware of these charges. After everything was done she comes up with this random amount out of the blues for $ 85 as travelling fee when the website clearly mentions $ 50 for travelling charges. This was daytime robbery! we are so disgusted with this service. Had I read the review before we would have never used this service before. PLs DO NOT use this service.

I wish there were a way to give a more negative score. 1 star doesn’t cut it. Stay away from this notary at all costs! She is bad news. Called this notary service on a Sunday evening to get 8 documents notarized. Wills, living wills etc. Cheyenne Bryant quoted me $ 50 plus $ 10 per signature for the documents. Their website also quotes $ 10 per document notarized. She arrived on time got everything done in 40 minutes and then told me it would be $ 815! She was charging me for every mark on the page, not just signatures, but initials, her signature, corrections that were made in the document! When I told her that was way more than was quoted ($ 600+ more than quoted) she said the only option was to call the police. I eventually agreed to let her charge my card a lesser amount letting her know that I would dispute it. She now won’t give me copies of the notary journal, and I am having to file a formal complaint with the Secretary of State. She charges more than the state allowed maximums — WAY more and I believe I only noticed it because I was getting so many documents done at once.
I have had hundreds of documents notarized over the years, but have never experienced anything like this. Bad news.
