He is family to my family.
He’s kind courteous and sometimes has a sense of humor albeit dry.
Bottom line. He’s the man.

Great doctor. His practice is like family. No BS, excellent care and he’s a great diagnostician.

As a woman, I think it’s very important to find a doctor you can connect with. Dr. Cohen has been my primary care physician for about 20 years now. He is a wonderful and caring doctor. His office staff is warm and friendly and you don’t have to sit in the waiting room for an hour like I’ve done in the past with other doctors. It’s incredible how he always runs on schedule. He’s one of those doctors who really takes his time with you. He listens to all of your concerns and gives thoughtful answers that he thinks will work the best for you and your lifestyle. I can’t say enough nice things about this doctor and his staff. If you want a doctor who really cares and listens, this is the guy for you!

I noticed there is a review which is out dated now. Dr. Cohen accepts insurance now and I was a new patient 2 weeks ago. I was searching for an internist and my ENT referred me to dr. Cohen.
I waited for an appointment for 6 weeks. First, I was told my appointment was in March when I called to confirm a couple of days before the secretary told me it is in April. OK. On the day off I called to see if I can come and draw the blood in the morning since my apt. was at 2:30pm and I was not suppose to eat till after. They said sure. I was thrilled and pleasantly surprised with respect to the office and staff. The doctor performed an exam and got my history and asked me to call for the blood results in 2 days. Here is when it went all down the hill. I called on Monday and asked for the results to be faxed and also to speak with the doctor. I got my results immediately. The doctor never called. I called again the next day and told the receptionist that he has not returned my call. She said she will have him call me by 3pm. Since my blood work was in question and needed to get an answer for another test. Just before 3pm I called again. She asked me to hold and she was getting a doctor. We went over the results and he asked me to fax my previous blood work and he said he would try to get the results of another test by then. I faxed my end immediately. Did not hear from the doctor. Called the following day, same story. So that was Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. I called the receptionist again and she said she has left a message for me on my voice mail (which was not true) that the doctor was leaving for some meeting. Whatever the excuse was I still did not get a call. One week went by and not a returned called. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone who is serious about their own health. Next to follow is a letter to the doctor who referred me to dr. Mitchel. Maybe the previous person who wrote the review was right. Dr. Mitchell is not accepting new patients because he can not even handle the call backs.
