This is by far the best deli in LA !! Quality and nothing but great service. Never disappointed and me and my family have been coming here for years. The staff is great and very friendly and professional. The owners does a great job to make sure your satisfied no matter what. Boars head delicatessen is by far the best deli meats in my opinion that u can get. The pepper turkey and roast beef is delicious and not to forget all breads are fresh and delicious. I would recommend mikes deli if your looking for a great sandwich in La. Thank you to all staff and owner Mike for keeping it the same quality for years. Fonzy at the deli always goes out of his way to make sure all customers are happy and full with a great attitude. Today I purchased 8 sandwiches and Fonzy made sure we had everything we needed. Love this place !!!

I was at Mike’s deli today, a place I have been coming for years because the food is great. But in this business that is largely patronized by the black community, there were NO black faces working behind the counter. Not to say I haven’t seen a black here and there, but it makes me wonder why there is little to no representation of the surrounding communities. There is plenty of black youth that are looking for jobs and unfortunately don’t get hired in their own communities.

I come here to get the lunch special, a large sandwich with chips and a drink for $ 8.00. It’s big enough for two people to share. It’s super casual and most people sitting at tables are waiting for to go orders. It’s a typical deli with sliced meats and salads by the pound. They’re super fast with sandwich orders, so this is a good place to go during the rush lunch hour.

sandwiches are great and you get a lot of food for the amount you’re spending. disclaimer: you aren’t coming here for the friendly service. don’t order over the phone or online because 9 times out of 10 they’ll get it wrong. you’re safer explicitly telling them what you want in person. the huge crowd may be a little disheartening, but i promise that the line(generally) goes by quickly. you’ll probably be in and out in less than 10 mins. the workers WILL rush you because it’s so busy, especially during lunch time, but don’t take it personally, just enjoy the food. what i’ve ordered: — the mailman(hot): $ 7.25 — 5⁄5 honey maple turkey, honey mustard, lettuce, tomato, swiss, provolone cheese on croissant their honey mustard sauce is bomb and the croissants they use always tastes fresh. they always use insanely thick(and juicy… and seasoned) meat for all sandwiches, which i really appreciate as many places tend to skimp out on the meat. — classic club: $ 7.35 — 5⁄5 honey maple turkey, lettuce, tomato, avocado, smoked bacon, mayo a very simple order, but i’ve had many other sub-par club sandwiches so when i ordered this i was extremely satisfied. — 6 pc wing combo(wings + fries + drink): $ 6.75 — 3⁄5 average… the sauce for the wings(i get the classic buffalo, medium spicy) is pretty good, but the wings are tiny and half of the time they’re overcooked and tough to eat. it’s pretty much a gamble, but some days at work i REALLY crave hot wings so this is a convenient option.

I love this place! I usually place my order online and I order a veggie burger which is honestly the best I’ve had. My food is always ready for pick up. Small Lot so Parking is limited.

Bomb bomb deli. This is my new go to Saturday afternoon lunch spot. Ordered a tuna sandwich on whole wheat(it’s a dark sweet wheat) and it was great and huge and just $ 7.25. Tuna isn’t overly mayonnaise-y. It’s the kind of deli you can eat in it take it to go. Über clean. Also saw lots of folks ordering wings to go — next time.

OOOOMMMMMMGGGGEEEEEE! This place is EVERYTHING and then some! I came here one Sunday for lunch and BAY-BAY the Mike’s Deli #1 gave me so much LIFE that I ate the whole sandwich!(My inner big girl was so happy!!) The sandwich has boars head turkey, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, mayo, mustard and the sweetest brown wheat bread(called squaw). I have been back since then and the sandwich was just as good. They also offer chips, drinks and salads. I don’t know when I will try the other items because that sandwich is SOGOOD!

So many choices here it was hard to chose! I finally decided on the turkey club on pumpernickel. It was so good! Before leaving I also bought a small container of their tuna salad. So yummy, and I will be back to try more.

I’m usually never in a mood for a sandwich unless I’m packing things to-go to the beach. But today my boyfriend insisted on coming here. First time & and it won’t be my last! The reviews are definitely on point. This place is amazing. The parking lot was full and there was a line when I walked in but the cashier took orders pretty quick and I got my sandwich hot & ready to eat. I had Mikes#1. Sure was #1 lol everything in the sandwich complimented each other. I decided on that one because the girl at the cashier said that was her favorite. It is now my favorite(: extra jalapeños please: D super fresh and super delicious. You’ll be seeing me more often Mike’s Deli!

Came Across Mikes when he first opened it was a small shop in the corner tucked behind the automotive shop. we went in and mike was alone he was friendly and made the best damn sub i had Ever tasted. We knew instantly We had found a Gem. Fast forward to today and Mikes is the dominant Store in the center and for good Reason he still makes a killer sandwich. matter of fact all the food is good. Our entire company goes to Mike’s all the time now. Update: Mikes is Expanding! the shop is about to double in size. this is a good thing! I want to thank all the people at mike’s for the Awesome Service. Every employee is really nice. they have just about every type of Chip and drink you can think of and yes the Sandwiches are the best!

This location is good. The sandwiches are always fresh. Usually I like going with their chicken salad sandwich or turkey sandwich. They have several types of sandwiches for you to enjoy. You can chose the type of bread(they have several) and toppings of course. Hot wings, burgers, and chips are other items they serve on their menu. I wish their seating area was a little bigger and spacious. I dont like eating with people hovering over me when im eating. The employees are not the friendliest, but i guess youre there to eat, not make friends. Their parking lot is super small and it usually is pretty crowded.

I’ve been coming here enough that I think it’s time for an update. This place is fantastic and worthy of five stars. Great sandwiches. The meats are lean, sliced perfectly, and flavorful. They pile on the ingredients between soft tasty bread. I love their grilled chicken salad too. For $ 10, you get a big salad with a lot of chicken sliced up and put on top. Fresh avocados. This place has so many different options. Service is always top notch, and the prices are affordable. One of the best sandwich shops I have been to in Los Angeles.

I went here b/c I was on a crisis call in Inglewood. I am so glad the police officer told me about this place. Cops always know the best spots to eat in the neighborhood b/c they patrol it regularly and we all gotta eat. It was a Sunday afternoon post July 4th so it was fairly quiet. I orders some special sandwich which was turkey and roast beef with some fixings on sqaw bread. She recommended it hot so I appeased her and ate the most delicious sandwich ever. It was finger licking good. I am already planning a trip back to try some other things off the menu. The place is clean, has boars head meats and quality condiments. Service was great and ordering was effort less. Ask for help if in doubt, their recommendations were on point.

This is a go-to if you want a wholesome deli sandwich. With all the sandwich franchises popping up I predict Mike’s to be on Slauson/Fairfax for the long haul. It’s easy to overlook and the parking lot is very small. I advise parking on the street and take the short walk. They defiantly are heavy-handed with the meat. Major plus! Employees are detailed with the meal orders. Considering what I do and don’t like on a sandwich I have yet to be disappointed after coming home and opening my bag to eat.

Came here because it’s close to a medical facility my mom is in and I booked marked it. When I arrived the first time, it was pretty crowded(a Saturday). When I visited the second time(a Sunday), guess what? Crowded! These sandwiches are popular and they should be! So far, I got the Mike’s Deli #1 — Cajun turkey with all the fixings plus advocado on squaw bread. Huge tasty sandwich! The bread was a little too sweet for me. Will ask for another type of bread next time. The second time got a salami sandwich for mom. She loved it. But, what I like most so far is the variety of chips, sweets and beverages! Trust me, you’ll have a hard time making up your mind! Going to try the chicken salad next(I eat them often!). If they pass that test, I’ll give them that 5th star…
