This is a hole in the wall, but it is fantastic. I had #6 Steak Picado. It was so full of flavor. Everything was homemade. The salas was off the chain. A must go!!!

Best place to go for home-cooked Mexican food. It’s a small restaurant that is run like a home kitchen. Their pozole is bomb!

One of my favorite spot in Lincoln Heights for real Mexican food, like my homeboy moms kitchen. I usually order the Steak Picado which is us served with green chilli peppers, but the owner/chef always makes it mild for me.

We we came out to LA for a friends birthday from Phoenix. Parking was easy, menu was large, and it was a family business. Although they were out of chicken(it was late in the evening) I chose steak tacos. My wife and I were really happy with the food and they service. Why not five stars? We ate outside and the ocean breeze was not strong enough. Yes we ate outside

Super charming place on Pasadena Ave. with great homestyle Mexican food. The costillas de puerco were amazing. Enjoyed a leisurely lunch outside on the front patio… new favorite local spot.

Best Pozole! The broth is thick and super flavorful. Marta the owner will treat you like you are at home! I’ve eaten here a few times. The place is super cozy, like literally her house it seems like — feels authentic like you are in a little neighborhood in Jalisco! Home style cooking. Legit.

When we first moved to Lincoln Heights we tried a bunch of places on Broadway, a few of them were decent, a few were disappointing. Then I walked by Martita’s one day with my dog and it smelled heavenly, so I put it on my list to try next. So glad that I did, this might be my new go-to spot. Solid chilaquiles and huevos rancheros, nice porch seating, they keep it clean and are really friendly. They could be a little quicker, but otherwise we were very happy there.

Small but atmosphere is homey. Enchiladas are flavorful. Tacos are reasonably priced and good(but you gotta put on the salsa). Chicken tacos were my favorite.

Great Mexican place. While the mom is cooking her two kids are helping serve clients. This is a great family business with great family values. Come check out this small place, the food and service is great.

This is a great place I stumbled upon in my neighborhood. The one woman wrecking ball who is Martita is in there cranking out dishes for the locals and managed to serve three tables all by herself! Impressed! The three asada taco plate is $ 5.99 and it’s really good! Plus the chorizo and huevos burrito is $ 5.99 and as big as a femur bone!!! The outdoor seating is really chill. Look forward to trying the chilaquiles. Had to pass the chorizo test first tho…
