I take a 45-​hr drive just to get my hair done.
Ana is a great hair stylist. I trust her with my hair hands down. She listens to her clients needs and end result is what you expected. She does color, cuts hair, makeup, and threading.
She also does makeup classes– they are really fun plus you get a whole makeup set.

Ana is the best! She’s super bright, had a great eye for peinados and make up. Great prices and high quality looks. Highly recommended.

DO NOT GO HERE. Extremely unprofessional and have no regard for people’s time and at not accommodating at all! I honestly don’t even think they deserve one star.

Monica is a must go for me. Alway surprises me when she remembers my hair color. Love going to her with my threading. Never leaves a hair behind. For some reason her threading always last awhile to grow back.

I went to this place after 2 years of letting my hair grow. I wanted a straight cut but ANA suggested some layers will look great. I took her advice but now that I see my hair I regret letting her cut my hair I had it below my shoulder but now the firsts layers are above my ears. She just ruined my hair its horrendous I don’t even know what type of haircut is this if you could call it haircut this is a bird nest. Please don’t go to this place or you will regret just like me. She is awful

This review is long overdue, so where to begin. The location is in a good spot of Boyle Heights. Its small and unimpressive to the naked eye. Fear not once you are inside this quaint little beauty shop you’ll be impressed by the hospitality that you receive. I usually come for my haircuts or a blow outs. Because that’s all I needed. Since I never colored or treated my hair in any matter (virgin hair). Until last month. On march I decided to make my relationship serious with Ana Delia (Co-​owner and overall hair genius). Ana Delia was super excited as was I going to do something new, especially when it meant color treating my virginial locks. The thing that I like about her service is that she really takes it upon herself to know each and every customer, in reguards to what they like and don’t like, their professional/​career and overall sense of fashion (she in not pushy or intimidating). Ana Delia suggested I get some highlights. Then she was on it. As I cringed the thought of bleaching, she assured me that she wouldn’t over do it. So 2 hours or what seemed a small eternity. She was done. I was happy and in love with her work! Ana Delia knew I was worried about coming in for frequent touch-​ups. She assured me that I won’t havet to come in, not until six months from then. Yay for low maintenance. Its been a month and my hair looks great. I receive many compliments from total strangers and friends. My only suggestion to you is that you phone in to ask for an appointment or just to know the overall volume of customers. That way you won’t be stuck reading a magazine or texting (wasting your battery). It gets pretty busy. Save yourself from boredom.

My little sister says she has no time to Unilocal but she came to me to Unilocal about this place again and I will! Like I said before, she has done her hair a few times here but this last time was her last! She went to get her tips cut and then the lady talked her into getting layers, telling her that it will look nice when she straightens it. Of course she took her advice since the lady is «supposed» to be a licensed beautician. The lady cut her hair and that was it. My sis did not want to pay more for the lady to straighten it so she left the shop.
After doing her hair herself she noticed it was NOT in layers at all, it was not even hidden layers. It was just a tore up from the floor up mess!
She does not like it and swears that the hair cut does not let her style it in a proper way. Now she is just going to wait until it grows out more and find another hair salon to fix it.
Oh yea, lets put the lady’s name on blast. ANA!
