In the area again. This time tried a torta milanesa. Really good. I don’t think there was any breading on the meat… no matter, the sandwich was excellent. The bread toasted perfectly, with a solid layer of refried beans and a generous spread of fresh avocado.
Same grubby yet charming location. No screaming kids or blaring music this time!

5 stars! I work close to Los cocos and one day one of my coworkers recommended to try the food here. I came for lunch one day and I just loved it. The employees are very kind and attentive when dining in. The food was so good and the salsa I loved! Prices are also reasonable. And since then I come eat here often.

The restaurant that used to be here was a sticky little pit. But now they’ve got new owners and a new paint job and a new chance to stand out among all the other Mexican places nearby.
The service is definitely better and the food has improved too but as I’m eating lunch the owner’s little boy is standing on a chair screaming «I won’t take a shower. I won’t take a shower!»
And as I left I got a little whiff of poo.
Move on.
