Best veggie sandwich I’ve ever had. The mozzarella and basil is next. I haven’t had the chance to taste the tuna but it’s probably good since it’s always sold out. The prices are really good for what you get but I’ve only ordered non meat items. The bread is what makes it next to the olive tapenade. Parking is a little hard to come by since its on larchmont. Metered parking both sides of the street.

This is one of my absolute FAVORITE sandwich spots in LA. The bread, salami, pickles, and everything else are so fresh and tasty that you get addicted right away. The sandwiches are all amazing and delicious, but I always stick to getting #3 which is SOPPRESSATASALAMI and has Spanish manchego cheese, mixed greens, sundried tomato spread, extra virgin olive oil & balsamic vinegar, plus it comes with a side of either black olives or pickles on the side on a French baguette. The price for a full sandwich is $ 9 and a half sandwich is $ 4.50. I always get the full and finish the entire sandwich at the spot because it is just that AMAZING. One con about this place is the seating area outside. They have some outside chairs and tables, but during lunchtime which is the busiest time during the day, it gets quiet busy, so there may be a wait for tables. However, since this place is about 5 minutes from my Grad School we just order our food with my friends, pick it up and come back to school to eat it there. I would recommend this deli to anybody new to the area and try the #3 coming from someone who did not like salami, this spot made me fall in love with it and now I am hooked on this place.

Being from Philly, I’ve had plenty of amazing sandwiches. This one is amazing. Go get the #2 or the #5!!! Be ready to stand in line and hard to find parking. But don’t let that stop you.

Driving into Larchmont is crazy. You really have to be ready to circle the block a couple of times looking for a parking space. Once you park, you have to stand in line to place your order for a sandwich. But once that is done, it was all worth it. These sandwiches are great! We probably get sandwiches from here about once a week. They have great bread, and delicious meats and cheese. This is an ideal spot to put together your own picnic basket, especially for the Hollywood Bowl.

A great LA staple! I usually get the number 3 and sub fresh mozz on baguette. This has to be one if not my favorite sandwich shop in town. The consistency here is top notch. Definitely pay them a visit before they run out of bread!

This place has everything you need for a picnic or on the spot potluck item. The sandwiches are great and I love a sandwich. Can get a bit busy during the lunch time on a weekday, but totally worth the wait. Nice selection or chips and sodas as well. I also needed a quick white elephant gift for work and I popped in for a nice bottle of wine. Larchmont parking is always a pain, but worth it.

This is my favorite place to get salami or prosciutto sandwiches. The bread is crunchy on the outside, but soft in the inside. There’s always just the right amount of mayo to balance to meat and the cheese. The best part are the gherkins and the olives, which just enhance the richness of the sandwich. Also, the selection of groceries is a great place to get some international food. I like to stock up on my European candies.

This place is a great find. I am a burgers and fries, meat and potatoes, fast food junky. My neighbor begrudgingly introduced me to this place. Anything with the phrase«wine» and«cheese» in the title, I instantly stay away from — -no thank you. However I gave the benefit of the doubt to my neighbor who said this place is really good. From the entrance, you would never guess this a sandwich shop. They have a selection of five different sandwiches to choose from. My favorite is the turkey, the french baguette bread is a must-have. They have some great homemade mayo they spread on the sandwich which really drives home its flavoring. The large sandwiches are big, if you order the half sandwich, it would be more than enough. The parking sucks(which is not their fault) however there is no where to sit and eat your sandwich, there is like 4 – 6 tables but those are never available, so you will be eating on-the-go. My only ding was how crowded the shop is, you get in-line to have your sandwich made and then another to pay, however it moves along quickly.

I recently tried this place and now I’m hooked. I’m pretty sure that everyone that has a sandwich from here gets other people hooked on it as well. The deli portion has AMAZINGLYFRESH deli meat. This is like grade A people. I have only tasted this freshness in Europe. The #3 is amazing with the addition of avocados. Choosing the bread is my most difficult decision, chiabatta or baguette. This would be easy at other locations, baguette DUH, BUT they’re chiabatta is so soft and like a FLUFF of heaven. I can never end up picking just one so I have been alternating lately. Also, ask for less mayo because they load it up in there. The line goes by fast and you can also place phone orders. They give mini pickles and olives and its just the best sandwich in LA. HIGHLYRECOMMEND! The only bad parts: parking and seating

Ok, only been here a few times, but… While dining next door at Vernette, didn’t realize they were BYOB, I came over to purchase some wine for dinner. Great assistance with finding a great and reasonably priced bottle. The kicker — before they closed the owner came over to ask if we wanted anything else! Superb, great job! That alone makes me say — go go go! Reward great customer service! Thank you.

I am hesitant to give this place a good review, because I want to keep it to myself. However, I think it’s too late by now. This place is popular and has a good reputation — all for a good reason. They have a great wine selection with some unique wines. I was lucky to find one of the best white wines I have ever had for a fairly cheap price. I think they are more known for their sandwiches and they worth the hype. The prices are cheap, the bread is fresh, and the sandwiches are huge! The meats and cheeses are always fresh and everything is delicious. This has become my to go place recently for wine, a casual bite, or food for events such as Hollywood Bowl or other outdoor summer events.

Driving through LA to find Larchmont Village is the perfect way to experience LA, including the good, the bad, and the ugly. There are run-down businesses, ugly apartments dotted with satellite dishes, endless traffic, idiots parked where they shouldn’t be parked causing even worse traffic problems, and then, suddenly, you find yourself driving down Larchmont Boulevard and you think, wow. This area is absolutely charming. It’s an oasis in the middle of a dirty, congested, ugly mess. There are quaint shops, interesting restaurants and bakeries, and the stretch of businesses here simply begs you to get out of your car and re-experience what walking feels like. It’s an area where you can and should stroll, shop, munch, imbibe and linger for at least a couple of hours. And here is Larchmont Village Wine Spirits and Cheese. I guess they didn’t have room on the marquee for Baguettes, Olives, Jams, and Prosciutto, which is understandable. It’s a tiny shop and the prices for the gourmet goods are sky high so watch your wallet. But the wine selection is very interesting and the gourmet goodies are really high quality and yummy. So, in most cases, you get what you pay for. I didn’t try the sandwiches but obviously, based on the other reviews, those are in high demand. I liked nearly everything I got(cheeses, meats, caprese salad, artichoke hearts) and would highly recommend going for the freshly in-store packed items and the meats carved fresh versus those items which are packaged and shipped halfway around the world. The stuff made in-store and the meat carved in front of you simply taste a lot better. Yeah, yeah, parking is tough here but I saw people coming and going out of parking spots constantly so keep your eyes open and be LA-tough and you’ll find a spot.

Just had lunch here with a few fellow mommies, strollers in hand. This was my first time and it was such a unique, cool experience. Had a sandwich made in the back, rounded the corner and grabbed a bottle of wine to bring home for later. I had a turkey sandwich which was really yum and despite the number of people here, the employees were all lightning fast and I hardly had to wait in any line. They had it down! Loved sitting outside too. Not much room for strollers but we made it work and the close-neighboring tables didn’t seem to mind at all. Also wasn’t expensive at all, which I would have expected it to be. I can’t wait to come back with the girls or bring my sweety!

Incredible sandwiches, far better than those I’ve had in Europe. Highly recommend the #3SOPPRESSATASALAMI, Spanish manchego cheese, mixed greens, sundried tomato aioli, extra virgin olive oil & balsamic vinegar on a crispy fresh baguette. For those with dentures or fucked up teeth who cannot bite through a baguette(quit the meth) they offer a softer ciabatta bread as an alternative. Smart thinking. $ 8.50 for a large. Also fond of their selection of wines, great affordable varieties. If you’d like to splurge on spending $ 125 a pound on Jamón ibérico they also carry that here.

The sandwiches here are simple perfection. If you ever just want a plain sandwich, then look no further. They use great quality meats and cheeses to make their sandwiches. My favorite are the prosciutto and also the turkey with mozzarella instead of gruyère Call in your order and avoid the long lines!

This is by far my favorite sandwich place in la. The shop itself is very cool. It’s small but stocked with tons of amazing imported cheeses, foods and wine. Personally I have never gotten anything there except for the sandwiches. They also sell a prosciutto there that is $ 125 per pound. My favorite is the soppresetta sandwich. I always order it on a baguette because it seems bigger than the ciabatta. The bread is fresh! Soft and buttery on the inside but crunchy on the outside. Each sandwich comes with different things but I love the sundries tomato spread. I saw them making it once and it’s literally sundries tomatoes and mayo. I always ask for basil in my sandwiches because I love the herby taste. They serve the sandwiches with pickles and olives. If you ask for more they charge you 25 cents. Overall I love this place. Affordable sandwiches, about 4 to 9 bucks depending on wether you order a whole one or a half one. A whole one is good enough for two people to share!

If you’re looking for a sandwich shop(not a chain like Subway or Quiznos) you MUST come to this place. There’s a reason why this place has a long wait… because it’s delicious. For lunch, the line can get out the door so I suggest calling in your order to avoid the long wait. They make sandwiches from Mon — Sat, 11AM — 5PM. I got the full size #3(salami, spanish manchego cheese, mixed greens, sundried tomato spread, extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar) on ciabatta and it hits the spot every time. I think what separates this sandwich from other places is the sundried tomato spread. It is BOMB. The sandwich also comes with fresh cornichons. For $ 8.50, it is definitely worth the price(especially for a place on Larchmont). I really want to try check our their wine selection next time. They usually have some deals on wines right next to the register but I am curious to see their entire wine selection. A must if you’re craving sandwiches and you’re in the Hollywood area.

This is a review for their sandwiches. They serve sandwiches from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday — Saturday. Choice of ciabatta bread or French baguette. I ordered the #1: fresh mozzarella, tomato, basil, extra virgin olive oil & balsamic vinegar on a French baguette! It was awesome! It is a simple sandwich with few ingredients but tastes great. It is light and really fills me up! I can’t wait to come back to try their other sandwiches. The prosciutto looks so good! Ordered: — #1: fresh mozzarella, tomato, basil, extra virgin olive oil & balsamic vinegar on a French baguette. $ 7.00/$ 4.00(full/half) Definitely recommend this sandwich!

Great sandwiches with great ingredients(your choice of ciabatta bread or baguette from La Brea bakery) but a limited sandwich selection. The large is huge(think of a large sub from subway but on a baguette. The line can get very long at lunchtime, but the limited selection is probably what keeps it moving. Order from the deli in back(just look for the line) and pay at the register in front. I went for the #4(roasted turkey breast sandwich with swiss gruyère cheese, mixed greens, sundried tomato spread, tomatoes, and EVOO/balsamic vinegar). I still think that Bay Cities is better, but this is a good choice on the east side. Cute little shop with lots of fine wines. When I have more time, I’d love to explore their wine selection. Normally there’s outdoor seating but currently there’s some construction going on so we took our sandwiches to go.

I’m torn between 3 and 4 stars, but overalI I’ve enjoyed their sandwiches for years, so that’s what counts! It’s a good sandwich because it’s light, simple and doesn’t take much ingredients to prepare. The baguette can be tough, but chewy and delicious nonetheless. The turkey is fresh and tastes clean, and for $ 9+tax it’s a good portion that also comes with cute little gherkins and marinated olives. At the same time, it isn’t anything special to go out of your way for. It’s just a really minimal sandwich. I really enjoy the slight blandness of the overall flavor, but some may not, so might want to ask them to go a bit heavy with the house made sun-dried tomato mayonnaise(SUPERRR delicious). They’ll charge you, though, because any additional items including vegetables will cost ya extra. They have an entire rack of Ritter Sports chocolates! Even some limited edition ones such as the yogurt cranberry: D. Can’t forget about their wine selection, cheese and meats for a charcuterie party at home! Sandwiches are served after 11am!
