I had time to kill and wanted to find a new spot in the area. Went in with an open mind knowing it wasn’t the best area but based on the reviews I went for it… The place was not busy. The gentleman doing my nails seemed like he was in a rush he was wayyyy to rough… I told him a few times and nothing. Finally I learned the hard way. The clippers he was using were dull and he was yanking to hard and fast… He ended up cutting a big chunk of skin… I immediately started crying and he got up and just left me sitting there. I was in so much pain I didn’t bother asking where he went but let’s Just say he didn’t come back(right away) … This lady came in and finished my nails but by then they were to scared to even cut my cuticles right. I should have walked out but I stayed… I was not pleased with there service… I would not go back. I think at least deserve a short«Im sorry«I walked out with one hand looking ok and a sexy band aid on it and the other hand was left the same as I walked in. All this trouble and I still had to pay 23 for a gel Mani. I don’t mind the price if the service is Good but I was greatly disappointed. I don’t like giving bad reviews based off on time visits but it’s common sense… You don’t leave a customer bleeding and walk out.

Ghetto ass salon. The lady with glasses was doing my pedicure. I noticed her gloves had previous holes in them and were dirty.(See the photo) the selection of colors were awful. No brand names AND most of the bottles were close to being empty. I chose black and she put some liquid inside the polish bottle. I’m guessing to make the bottle full and to color my nails more easily? Never coming back again. Didn’t want to give them a star but Unilocal gives you no choice!

I’m never going back again! Went there 2 days ago for a mani & pedi, and of course I went because of the good reviews and cheap prices. I tipped the lady who helped me a generous amount before she started the manicure. Yet, she didn’t push back my cuticles, which means she put nail polish on top of my cuticles. She also had no intention to put on any base coat. I asked three times for it and at first she reacted like I made a ridiculous request. Anyhow, I resumed my life as usual and I did nothing crazy in particular with my fingers. By the end of the second day after I went, the edges of the nail polish were already coming off. And no surprise, 1⁄5 of the nail polish of some of my fingers are already gone by today! In short, it’s cheap but you really do get what you paid for.

This is the ONLY place where I go. I’ve been to other nail salons but always leave disappointed. It’s a small location but they have great service and do a great job! I also do my eyebrows there n every now and then I get a pedi. They also do lashes for a reasonable price. You won’t regret it! My favorite for my nails is #4

First off, let’s just be honest about the shopping center. It’s in El Sereno, it’s a little bit ghetto. There is limited parking in the lot and people tend to double park. The salon is outdated and older. Regarding the service, it’s fantastic. I get a mani/pedi for $ 16. Eyebrow waxing is $ 6. These prices are insane. They do a great job and there is low pressure on adding on services. There is only on person who does gel and acrylic nails and they charge based on length. Nail color choices are limited on the wall, but you can always ask the ladies if they have any other polishes. They tend to have some higher quality polish in their own caddy. They accept cash and cards. It’s inexpensive and you leave looking great!

Their prices are amazing, the service is great and the people are extremely friendly. What more do you want from a nail place?
