Great place if you want your stomach to hurt for 3 days. Not a friendly staff Long waits for everything

Came here on MLK Day and it wasn’t that busy. Ordered the crab benny with a side of potatoes. Lots of great crab flavor and the egg was poached perfectly. The chipotle hollandaise was a little sweet, which I found weird but that’s what Cholula is for. Some of the silverware was dirty and we had to ask for new ones and the service was ok. Great for celebrity sightings — saw Jane Lynch here!

First time eating at Kings Road Café, the waitress asks me to take out my phone to calculate splitting the bill. Her response was because«it’s easier for her». Not cool. Second visit. The waitress asked twice if the tip I left was in fact the amount I wanted to leave. YES, not once was my water refilled, our table was not checked on. The only time I saw the waitress was when she took the order and brought the food.(someone else took the plates upon finishing out meal). Unfortunately this establishment does not train employees on customer service. I would not advice to eat here unless you want unsatisfactory service.

My hubby took me here for brunch to celebrate our anniversary. We had the French toast and bacon & eggs with coffee. All very good but the service was just«ok». I’ll definitely go back, I guess I was just expecting more out of the service for it being located in Beverly Hills.

This café is always busy and it’s for a reason! The food is great. The reason I didn’t give a full five stars is service sometimes takes way to long.

I ordered a burger medium well — it came out like a burnt hockey puck. They also covered the fries in pepper and somehow shed 4 different pieces of hair in my meal. I took the food up to the counter. No refund offered, they just took it away. This is 2016. How does stuff like this even happen…

If you’re looking for delicious food this is not the spot. If you’re hoping for super strong coffee this is the spot. If you want celebrity sightings this is absolutely the spot. I ordered the breakfast quesadilla which was average. My friend ordered the fruit plate and I must say it looked amazing! For your coffee, lattes etc. they offer all types of milk(soy, almond, reg). I was very excited that they also offered more than just pork products for breakfast meat sides. I was told that the French toast was also very tasty as well as the juevos rancho eggs… I think that’s what it’s called. :) The prices were right for such a celeb hot spot in LA. Parking is meter parking be sure to feed the meter. I wouldn’t call this the best breakfast spot but I would probably return!

The Coffee is a 5 star experience! The food is only average. Try finding street parking More stars if they refilled your coffee for free

My husband and I ate here on Saturday, and I was allowed to modify my Menu choice to suite my diet concerns. I order a egg white scramble soft with spinach and goat cheese, chicken sausage, crispy breakfast potatoes and one slice of grain toast. Everything was just the way I order and delicious. We also order coffee which was prepared European style Somewhat strong, but it was okay with cream added. Our server was courteous and prompt. We will visit again.

What a cute brunch spot! I was in LA for the first time this past weekend and attended with two friends. I love the adjacent coffee shop that provides a place to hang while waiting for tables. I chowed down on the chorizo omelette and was super impressed with the freshness of all of the ingredients. The chorizo was ground, not sliced which made for awesome texture, and it went so well with the big hunks of avocado strewn on top. My friend had the crab cake benedict which was served on a croissant instead of an english muffin. Super yummy too! I found this place to be way affordable and no one gave a shit that I was basically wearing yoga clothes. Oh wait, that’s literally all you people in LA wear. THESEAREMYPEOPLE. Anywho, big ups for the brunch, and for knowing how to make a proper mimosa. Just a SPLASH of OJ! Bottoms up!

This is one of those brunch places that look better than it tastes. Don’t get me wrong, the food is still pretty good, but it just wasn’t anything special or wasn’t good enough for me to want to come again. 2 of my friends and I shared the pecan pancakes, omelette, and eggs benedict on a croissant. The portions here are pretty big so we struggled to finish everything. The omelette and eggs benedicts were good but I would skip the pancakes because they weren’t fluffy or anything :( We came around 2pm on a Saturday and didn’t have to wait at all. Parking is street parking and could be a little tricky to find because this road is pretty busy.

Heard good things about this place so decided to walk there and try it. For a casual dining, this place is excellent. The food is tasty, and rich with favors. I ordered their breakfast burrito and added chicken in it. I think I am full for the next 3 days. Huge(puts chipotle to shame) and delicious. Their menu has a big concentration on breakfast items(served all day) and a lunch menus that has a selection of sandwiches and basic meals. The guys who work here are humble, hard working, and polite. There is a booth, big community table, and 5 bar stools inside. However, the fun part is to sit outside where they have several tables.

One of the coolest places to hang out for breakfast to lunch. Located between the grove and the Beverly Center. If you are a person who loves great coffee then this place for you. One of the french toast in town. If you are an omelet you must try the mozzarella, tomato & basil or spinach & goat cheese omelet. For the egg or meat Benedict lovers you must try crab cake Benedict or the Florentine Benedict. The have a great breakfast burrito that is a must try. The service is excellent to minute you arrive to minute you leave. They have street parking or site street parking. No questions you will enjoy your time here.

I’ve been to Kings Road Café over 20 times during my visit to LA. Most of the times to pick up orders for my boss and some of those times for myself. Situated at Beverly Blvd /Kings Road, this café is always busy and cramped. My first few trips to the place were unpleasant with the cashier trying to move the queue along rapidly to the point of being blunt and herding all the customers into the tiny waiting area meaning that I had to move every five seconds. There’s been a few times where they’ve completely forgotten my order. There’s been a few times where they’ve got my order wrong. There’s been a few times where my card and my boss’s card have declined yet I know it works perfectly fine. However, the more I went there, the more the staff seemed to recognise me and were more welcoming, they even started giving me a free coffee here and there! But what about the coffee I hear you cry! It was ok. I had an iced almond latte and didn’t think it was good enough to warrant the always cramped conditions for the café. I also got a blueberry muffin that was way too squishy. Muffins need crunch! Free tip: there’s a news stand around the corner from the café where you can pick up your morning paper or any magazine of your choosing, handy!

So disappointed in our service today! When we sat down our waitress seemed like she woke up with an attitude. I understand everybody has bad days and I gave her the benefit of the doubt. we started ordering our drinks and I told her unsweetened almond milk latte and my latte comes out super sweet and when asked about it — with an attitude she says«it’s vanilla almond milk.» Okay fine, we place our order and told her I am GLUTENFREE!!! She said«ya okay, I got it“l.» So I ordered an omelette and she seemed like it was a bother for her to sit there and take my order and when I food came out, it had two slices of toast on it which are NOTGLUTENFREE! My husband ordered spicy chicken sandwich and asked what does it come with on the side and she answered«cabbage slaw!» What did we et instead? Not a cabbage slaw but some salad and had to track her down because she didn’t come by again cause she took her break in between serving tables to get a side of slaw. Just ridiculous. If you hate your job, don’t work there but one of the reasons people go to restaurants is to enjoy the atmosphere and the overall experience and not just for food. It’s not okay to be rude to a customer who just was unfortunate to be sat in your section to treat them with an attitude. Check your attitude at the door!

ENVIRONMENT Indoor/outdoor seating with an attached coffee house. The menu covers all the usual café offerings ranging from breakfast to salad. SALAD Grilled Shrimp(full) — perfect sixes portion with warm grilled veggies and shrimp, fresh avocado and large slices of tomatoes. BREAKFAST Quesadilla — the best quesadilla I’ve had, breakfast or otherwise. It almost has a mac n’ cheese quality.

seems like a cyclical thing. came today to talk about a wedding with some friends from work. first time I was here years and years ago, it was to grab a bite and talk about another wedding. oddly, it was super hot that day also. today you totally could have cooked our orders on the sidewalk ore the hood of our car, etc. that’s why I suggested king’s road café, because the first time I had to quench my thirst and the fresh lemonade really hot the spot. today, you can see from the bill, we had some of everything. what we didn’t have was 4 lemonades. there were four in our party and 3 ordered said lemonade, one arnold palmer. how we got charged for four? don’t know. my bagel and lox was only ok. I’d love some capers, none. I’d have loved some lemon, couldn’t wave a server down before I was ¾ done eating. my guests didn’t finish everything but politely said everything was fine. so, meh overall but really hoping that this was related to the heat wave, an off day, whatever it was, I’m not totally happy. I noticed the error after I got to my office. Which prompted a mental note to update my review.

The Breakfast was amazing. The workers are really nice and provided me with excellent customer service. I also received great service from their manager. I highly recommend the«mozzarella, tomato and bazil omelete». –Complements to the chef and management.

I love their coffee so much that I can tolerate them getting other parts of my order wrong which is the only reason I’m not giving five stars. They’re way too busy on weekends at breakfast but if you don’t mind waiting a few minutes it’s worth it. The people-watching is lots of fun and you can usually find a dog or three at their outdoor tables. I’ve had so many of the breakfast selections that I can’t pick a favorite but when it comes to salads I love the kale and romaine with almonds and cherries and if you substitute their parmesan dressing for the avocado dressing(my trick) you’re in for a treat. They also have a cole-slaw that comes with sandwiches and can be ordered as a side and it’s made without mayo(for those who hate mayo but feel like they miss out on cole slaw this is your place!) and addictive. If you want breakfast all day and delicious coffee that’s like crack, Kings Road Café is it.

Sehr gutes Frühstück. Verschiedene Omlettes, Müsli, Obstsalat und mehr. Alles was das Herz begehrt. Sowas ist nicht immer leicht zu finden in den USA. Dazu gibts Kaffee aus selbstgerösteten Bohnen. Als ich da war leider sehr voll. Mußte 15 Minuten warten. Und leider direkt an der Straße gelegen. Also etwas hektisch wenn man draußen sitzt.
