Salon itself is a little messy; nail polish selection is not a large one (lots of dark red colors). For a pedicure: there are no usual chairs with a jet tub/​massage. You are sitting on a regular chair, which is not very comfortable. No soaking salt used. Massage is a little weak. Pedicure itself ok, polish looks even and no smudges on the skin. Pedicure $ 17. I think most people come by appointment.

I have been going to this salon for many years, maybe 17 years? Always top notch and they do their best to get you in the schedule if you are booking late.

So — I got a gift certificate from my co-​worker for Christmas to get a manicure. I had not used it, but decided it was time… I work in this area and I really just needed to make time for it.
The place is in Brentwood Village. A little bit in «snooty ville», but at least they know how to make space for parking. You can park in the big public lot on Barrington Court. They do validate.
I am not sure her name, I know she was the owner, and she was really nice! They use the old fashioned tubs for pedicures and have a very strong client base. you can tell by all the christmas cards and family pictures on the wall. She has been there since 1988!
She absolutely took her time with my manicure, and made small talk that did not seem like too much work for her. She did not try to upsell me on anything! (not even a french manicure) and she applied the strengthening coats at no extra charge.
My manicure was a gift, but I asked, and she said they cost $ 13 with Pedicure $ 16. Pretty good price actually…
4 stars because they do not have the massage chairs with the foot soakers at the end, but… sometimes, those are gross! i saw someone getting a pedi and she seemed to be very happy. People were calling to make same-​day appts and I think its probably a good idea. I dropped in, but it was very early.
In this area for 20+ years, I would think that’s saying something about the quality of her work and the reputation. I will definitely be going back!
