Claudio D’Italia The Hair Salon

Most hair salons are insanely expensive, or give me a flat looking cut. Not this one. This one is fantastic, and not terribly priced. Not to mention Larry is a fantastic stylist. It’s the first salon I’m assuredly returning to since I moved out to LA.

Vincent Ciacci has taken care if my hair for some 20 years… you can tell that he loves his craft… he takes his time until you are 100% happy with the style.

I love Steven C at Claudio D’italia, he’s an amazing hair colorist and stylist! Make sure to go in and get pampered by the best.

I’ve been seeing Steven for highlights for over 2 years and he is amazing! He does color for at least 2 other people I know and does a great job. The salon is clean and everyone is friendly. To the people who said it was too gossipy — isn’t a hair salon supposed to be gossipy? I highly recommend Steven if you are looking for highlights. He’s great!

I got my fabulous haircut from Paulo! The color is amazing and the cut is beautiful! It even grows out beautiful! I didn’t have to get it re-​cut again for months because it was layered and textured so well! Seriously, compliments almost every single day from strangers! Paulo is very nice and pays so much attention to the details! He always makes me feel welcome and when I leave I happy and confident that my hair looks good! I highly recommend him to anyone!

I have been a customer at Claudio’s for over ten years. Patricia has been my stylist from day one, and she is incredibly talented, listens to what I want, and is so gentle and soothing I always leave feeling like I’ve just had a spa treatment. The salon is clean, I love getting my hair washed by the technicians (top quality products and so relaxing!), and there are always goodies available to eat (as well as bagels on Saturdays and occasionally birthday cake). I get my hair cut, highlighted and sometimes an updo. I am always very pleased with the results and get compliments on my hair. Claudio is very conveniently located in the heart of Brentwood and there is free parking in the back.

Although I got a great haircut here, I will not be back. My stylist (an older woman with a soft cast on her leg, I can’t remember her name, Linda maybe?) did a great job on my hair. However, her professionalism left something to be desired. The entire time she was making rude comments about her co-​workers or other customers just loud enough for me to hear. I found this to be extremely unprofessional. She also told me that at my age I’d better hurry up and find a husband and start making babies if I want to have a family.
Furthermore, the ambience and tidiness of this salon is not much above going to a Super Cuts. So I was shocked when I was charged $ 60 for my shampoo and cut. (When I walked in I was told that my stylist would discuss price with me, she never did.) Then my stylist hovered at the counter while I paid, I assume waiting for her tip. That also made me uncomfortable. Although she did a good job with my hair, her attitude and the setting have deterred me from being a return customer. I’ll take my money elsewhere next time.

Larry is amazing at being a natural hair-​cutter for myself and my wife. And exceptional colorist for my wife! Very, very helpful with product knowledge. Relaxed energy and vibe at Claudio’s. Bottom line caring, compassion with great passion! All the other hairstylist have great attitude and personality and highly skilled as well! If you want to enjoy an experience of being at a salon and very happy with results… Claudio’s is the place!!! And for my 3 ½ year old daughter, Larry and the other hairstylists treat her like a princess!!! Highly recommend Claudio D’Italia!!!

Larry is the best! I have thick curly hair and Larry gave me a Brazilian Blowout and it is amazing! Smooth, silky and shiny — gorgeous! Everyone at the salon is so nice and the place is bright and cheery. Definitely recommend Larry for the Brazilian blowout!!!

I’ve been going to Linda for over 7 years for highlights. She’s the best and really knows how to make the color look natural and last. I always feel so great and happy with my hair when I leave. If you want a salon that truly cares about their clients then Claudio D’Italia is the place!

I LOVE coming to Claudio d’Italia and Patricia is amazing. Everyone is extremely friendly (esp. Steve & Larry) and Patricia is so talented and kind at the same time. I always walk away happy and feeling pretty. If you are looking for a lovely, happy and smart hair stylist she is your girl.

Steve has been doing my color (highlights) and cut for over 10
years and it’s always just right. I have really straight hair and he’s sorted out a fabulous cut that I barely need to touch in between appointments.
Every week I get compliments on my color and cut. I like the whole
environment at the salon and I cannot recommend Steve too highly.

I recently was recommended to Steven by a family member for a Brazilian Blowout .He is very experienced in hair straightening and coloring.
My Brazilian Blowout came out soft, smooth and shiny, with no frizz or damage to my color treated hair’s gave me after care instructions and was very reasonably priced too.
I love my hair and will recommend him to all my friends.
