Date of visit: 12−25−15 A few coworkers and I decided to visit this establishment on Christmas Day. Upon entering, I observed it was full of patrons. This is understandable since there are not a lot of places that are open on Christmas Day. We were then seated and given menus. Servers were ok but took a long time to refill drinks. Food took a while but it was ok. Here was the deal breaker… I went to the restroom and there was a homeless drug addicted transient clipping his toenails on the sink!!! Now that is the most disgusting thing I have ever seen. I will not be visiting this ihop or any ihop for that matter in the future.

The food isn’t exactly the greatest here. The coffee is weak, and the steak omelet I ordered contained a giant piece of fat along with the meat. But, you don’t really go to an IHOP for great food, you go for the price and convenience, and this was was adequate on both counts. The server was also pretty attentive, which was pretty admirable since I could see how many tables he was serving at the same time.

I had a good experience, got seated right away, and Felipe our server was friendly and attentive. Can’t complain, my cheesecake pancakes were delicious. Ambiance was nice, and service was fast

First to all the haters. Ihop only biggest competition is Denny’s. They stink at pancakes, waffles, breakfast, and their slower then a dry ice block melting. This Place. I just had dinner with 6 cops in the place. When eating is so rare for a cop they have to eat at a decent place without having to worry about a stomach upset later. A little of both for kids and parents, a great family restaurant. This place gets little busy spurts and at that time it is a little slow. Also if you have a great palate don’t eat here. Ihop is not a culinary place. Its Mah and Pah grub food. This place is open 24hrs too. Plus don’t eat something here their not good at. Like milk shake, or cheesecake pancakes. etc. Use your common sense. That’s what the cheesecake factory is for. or a dinner who does great shakes. The people are good, The service is good. The food is good. Its close by to all the stuff and LA Live. I’ve been coming here for 8 years. Keep it simple keep it real then this place is for you.

I like IHop… Their menu staples are good«go to «meals… But their special«temporary» items are always worth considering. The temporary items typically change every month or two, on a seperate menu. This location is open 24⁄7. Some unsavory characters nearby… It is the big city so not unexpected… The location seems safe enough though. The staff was very nice and attentive… It did take a bit longer than some IHops I’ve been to, but the food was hot, and proper, and the silverware was noticeably clean. $ 3 coffee ugh… Well, at least there’s refills!

Once we entered the restaurant, your security guard who was white skinned and skinny looking gave us a bad look and didnt greet us at all nor gave us a smile. Your host named Arline didnt greet us nicely as well. And your buff server was acting too manly that he wasnt being friendly or attentive at all. While leaving the restaurant, i tried greeting arline a goodnight but she gave me the look together with the security guard and started talking behind our backs. The security guard even asked out loud as me and my bf were walking towards the exit«whatd she say?!» It frightened us. It hurt my feelings experiencing so much attitude from that girl ARLINEANDYOURSECURITYGUARD. PLEASEDOSOMETHINGABOUTYOURWORKERSATTITUDEIHOPFLOWERST. !!!

The only reason I’m giving this hellhole two stars instead of one is that they provide a valuable community service with their generous tendency to extend employment to the otherwise unemployable, unenthusiastic, robotic, and obtuse DREGS of the hospitality industry. Although I personally wouldn’t set a foot in here again, I do at least acknowledge the fact that these apathetic and joyless servers and hosts need to pay their rent and put food on their table just like everyone else. Thanks I guess to the ihop on S Flower for helping them out.

the cook here sucks. my new york cheesecake pancakes were rather dry. i felt like i needed to drink a gallon of smart water after one bite. the sampler plate was horrendous. why would they put green leaf shit in the quesadillas? it tasted like i was eating mold. idk how anyone could mess up a quesadilla.

We came around 7 on a Friday evening to find them completely out of pancakes and waffles. When you are out of the item that is in your name, there is a problem!

My friend was craving pancake and we saw IHOP in front of us. Pancake combo($ 10.69): my strawberry cheesecake combo was bad. I couldn’t taste the cheesecake :(We sent back the bacon to the kitchen, because it was limpy. Coffee($ 2.89): nothing special. 1 star! IHOP Is not yummylicious!

Came here in a group of four on a Friday morning. Not very busy, but employees took very long to take our orders. Surprisingly, it did come out very quickly. I asked for well-done hash browns, but it came out seemingly undercooked. A strawberry milkshake took extremely long and came out last. When waiting to pay — it took 10 mins to get someone to help us get a receipt, then we tried to pay at the front where they told us to pay with our waiter. They wouldn’t even sing happy birthday. At least they validate parking from the garage across the street? *edit — it took us twenty more mins from that incident to get our finalized checks, including a mixup with payments AND a false«declined» claim(check your bank statements people!) if I could give zero stars, I would.

I would actually give this a 2.5, but alas there are no half points. IHOP from my childhood was much tastier, much more presentable and friendlier than this The buttermilk pancakes were a solid 4/5, but the hollondaise was really not appetizing to look at and neither was the omelette For an ihop service was incredibly slow Not sure I’ll be back

Gettin some grub here in the City of Angels. Once possessed an unadulterated hatred for the International House of Pancakes, however, on a quest to find some affordable, macronutrient-friendly food, we resorted back to this famous breakfast joint. «Don’t let one bad apple spoil the whole bunch,» right? This IHOP was way better than the establishments in SW Florida. Way to go LA.

The service is quick here. The food was reasonable priced. I love the concept of dessert for breakfast! They have many options on their menu, there’s something for everyone whether you want something sweet or savory.

I was working for this I HOP located at downtown Los Angeles for more than a year. I hated working for this company .the staff were good people except this lady named Rita Gasca also a server, she is so mean and arrogant always yelling at everyone all the time for no reason, racist! She doesn’t even like black people .I was dealing with bad, ineffective manager and bosses !!! It was horrible! The schedule was terrible, they denied helping me, I’m going to school and I wasn’t able to work evenings and overnights and they force me to go to work at those times saying: «you are going to lose your job if you are not available!!» The manager is a guy named Bill Barbero and this person don’t respect and intimidate employees. It was so depressing and stressful working with him. He don’t deserve to be a manager and be working for a company named«I HOP» He doesn’t care about employees situations and when something is wrong with client and it’s his fault he gives away free stuff what a think is a waste for the company! ATTENTIONALERT! :when food accidentally fall from the plate to the floor they put it back to the plate and still give it to the costumers!!! I think it’s disgusting… more than one time co workers drop food and they say that if nobody sees it fall just put it back and send it out but i refuse. The cooks get mad that they have to make it over again. HORRIBLEEXPERIENCE! I HAVEQUITMYJOB !! THECORPORATIONSHOULDHIRENEWMANAGEMENTASAP!!!

Eh — not impressed. S L O W service must be a part of their training program for their servers. Every IHOP I’ve been has service that moves at a glacial pace. I mean, damn — why does it take so long just to get someone to notice us? Listen, I’m not a diva. I don’t have crazy expectations, but I do expect to be acknowledged and served in a timely manner. The place was half empty and it took over an hour for us to have lunch here. SMH — unacceptable. The food itself is okay — a bit too salty for my tastes. The portions were big, though, so that’s their saving grace. Would I return? Not with Yorkshire Grill standing in the way.

IHOP Inte-Review Do I love IHOP? Most of the time. Do they have groundbreaking breakfast? No. Is this a place you should take your girlfriend? Probably not. Do they validate parking? Kind of. It’s a very specific lot, not the parking structure on the northwest side of 8th and Figueroa(which costs $ 12 flat rate), but on the southwest side of that corner. I found this out the hard way. OK, yes, they fully validate parking. Does that mean you paid $ 12 extra to eat at IHOP because you didn’t park in the correct lot? Yyyno. Fine, yes. What the hell did you even order? Does it even matter? It’s IHOP, get what you want. Do they make your hash browns extra crispy on request? Kinda. Does a negative review of IHOP matter? No, not really, since you’re not really checking Unilocal to see if that IHOP is actually as good as people say it is. Are the servers some incredibly patient folks? Yes. Did you perhaps ascertain this capacity for patience by having an impromptu food fight with your girlfriend where you threw garbage and sourdough toast at each other? Good God, no! Who would do such a thing?

They have a new chorizo omelette that is super tasty, spicy and filling. At first I thought the sauce and chorizo was salty(which it is) but at the end of the day, you’re eating it with the huge egg omelette which has no flavor whatsoever so the balance is awesome! Actually it’s perfect! What sold me was that they had a grilled serrano pepper that came with. I love serranos. I eat them raw like I eat carrots.
