NONGAYFRIENDLY! The security guard kicked a group of my friends out gor trying to help a drunk girl outside the restroom. Then the security guard began making derogatory gay comments to my friends outside, after he had kicked them out!

If I had he chance to put –0 I would security guard kicking me out because I was protecting my friend and pushing me a shining me after I told him my back was seriously hurt and then calling the management and them telling me to go fuck muself it was so upsetting I felt like I was being bullying after telling them my back was hurting and then security shubbing me after saying my back is hurt and I understand i have to leave and continued to call me out asking me to cross the street and I quote«you little bitch» so he can hit me I’m never going back for sure and demand for who ever was in charge at 4pm on 12⁄27 and security to be reprimanded for treating me so wrong. This place is definitely not gay friendly

Adrian is the man. Best bar, and atmosphere in the downtown area. I should know, I practically live here. Beer pong/sports on the tvs. I plan on coming here, everyday I am alive, and when I die, I would like to be buried here, or somewhere, really close to here wearing nothing but a Gamez t-shirt on.

Gamez is amazing! The service is stupendous and the beers are always cold. Adrian is the man. He really knows how to pours shot. None of these half filled shot glasses. He fills it to the rim. Just make sure you don’t spill any. Filled with big screen tv’s and plenty of naughtys to go round, Gamez is a jewel in the heart of old downtown. Right on the price, right on the corner and right on the way home!

What a great find DTLA! I was downtown today with a friend for lunch and some shopping. We came upon this bar and had to have a drink. Adrien behind the bar was friendly and helpful. However there were other employees on hand and they were all very friendly. We ended up staying there watching the Mexico/Honduras game, and when we looked up, we had been sitting there for 5 hours. What a great place. They also have Karaōke on Wed & Thur nights. Not to mention they have $ 1 beer and $ 5 Jameson shots during happy hour. I would recommend this play over and over.

Borderline 4, so giving it a 4. I really like this place and it gives DTLA a solid sports bar in the Historic downtown area. Service is usually strong, good drink specials and really good bar food(wings, nachos, burgers will do it and then some). And… they actually turn on the sound on the TV so you can actually enjoy the games… at a sports bar. Awesome. What works against it at times is the uneven experience. The place is small(25 people and it would feel packed), although the back opens up into a huge, cool lounge that isn’t used when it’s sports time — like football Sundays, and there are times they have a DJ actually at the bar bumping music with monster speakers as if they were trying to signal the President while he’s in the Oval Office. It was so insanely loud we had to leave, as did others. There’s also beer pong happening. While I’m a big fan, the place is just too small to accommodate that and everyone else trying to squeeze in and watch a game comfortably. If the tables/bar were bussed a bit faster, this would help make this THE spot. That said, I’ll see y’all next Sunday. Game on.

Pretty cool spot. Phenominal location. Good service yet it was a bit dead and the music selection was not impressive. The beer selection is ehhh. I’d come back to watch a big game or big fight though.

It’s called Gamez. I’m gonna get over the name and the spelling because frankly that sums up(very succinctly) why you would step foot in there. They have the NFL ticket, reasonably priced drinks and tasty food from Onyx next door. Kind of a sausage fest so single ladies, odds are great if your looking for a sportz fan.

Do you love clip art? You know the kind that reminds you of all of those AOLCD-ROMS you used to receive in the mail? Are you banned from DNO across the street? Then this place is for you.

My office is right across the street at the Spring Arts Tower, so I frequent this place quite a bit. Great establishment! They are newer and and typically people shy away from new places, but don’t hesitate to stop by for a bite or drink. Happy hour is from 11am-7pm. Awesome food and drink specials. Even $ 1 beers! I’ve had the quesadilla, nachos, and pork sliders, and all are pretty darn good. Especially for $ 7. Staff/bartenders are super cool. Lots of TV’s. Great place!
