Short n sweet! Good Pollo Loco. Never have a problem here and the staff is always helpful. Will definitely keep coming back here.

9 out of 10 times the order tastes the way it’s meant to taste. Sometimes they skimp on the sour cream, but they still outperform the other El Pollo Locos in the area. In my personal opinion an El Pollo Loco where the employees can’t speak good English, is one you always want to go to, and this one falls in that category.

The food is quite good, but I rarely receive exactly what I ordered(drive-thru) so the experience is usually a disappointment. Get it together guys.

El Pollo Loco’s chicken is healthy, bc it is grilled! I always get the 8 pc. family meal with 2 sides and corn tortillas! They also have fresh salsas, avocado sauce, lemons, onions, and cilantro. This is way better than KFC!

Noon. One register open. The line went to the door. I just turned around and left. Furthermore, the parking lot was crazy. As I tried to pull in, one car after another would start pulling out of a parking spot or try to enter from the back. Eventually I just had to push ahead and park on the street.

$ 20 for an 8-pcs family meal with three courses? Good deal for me! We had four people and couldn’t finish the food. One drawback is that the chicken were overlooked so it was too dry. But I like the corn a loooooot.

Very simple. One of the best fast food place to eat. The place is very clean at all time. The staff treat the customer like VIP at all time. The food is so good. The staff always asking if you need anything else.

I’m giving this place 2 stars because the chicken is great… It’s not getting 5 because management here sucks. They let the employees take over the majority of the dining area that is meant for paying customers they sit all spread out which makes it hard to find a seat.2 the music in this place is way to loud!!! You can barely hear yourself think… Awful!!!

So I came here last week for lunch before I started my shift at work and ordered the shrimp and chicken enchiladas combo. Since I was in a rush I didn’t think to check my food to make sure it was the correct order. As I prepare to eat I find that my order was wrong and I was given one chicken breast with a few pieces of grilled shrimp on the side. I called to let the manager know and the gentleman(I don’t recall his name) was nice and told me to come back when I could to get my correct order. When I returned today I was treated with hostility from a female manager(short Hispanic lady) race isn’t important but I didn’t get her name. She grilled me about the exact date I came in(who the hell remembers the exact date of their lunch.) I told her the story and described the issue as detailed as possible. I told her that the manager took my phone number down and told me that he would keep it on record for when I returned. She wouldn’t even look up my information and by this point I’m feeling like I’m begging for a free meal that would only cost me a few dollars. So I told her nicely, as I tried to salvage any self respect that I had left, that I’m now over it and would just leave. Not that she cared but she let me go with the issue unresolved. I’m not sure if people often come in to try and get free food by lying an saying that they were told to come back. But I definitely am not one of those people. I’m often on the go and I come to el pollo loco regularly because the offer healthier non-fried fast food options. I never thought that a manager would handle a customer complaint in this fashion. I’m very disappointed and will from now on visit the el pollo loco on the other side of town. These managers need training in both record keeping and customer service. Very unprofessional.

They are really good. They are fast, friendly, and the food is hot and tastes great. Not much else to say. If you are hungry for a good burrito and some Mac and Cheese under $ 10 and in the neighborhood, this is the place to go :)

I like any El Pollo Loco that actually has wings. And this one had enough for two orders. Sincerely,

Rude rude rude! Plus attitude! And every time they mess my order up. I have to go back if I have the time. After ordering something they tell me my total and I’m not even done ordering. After I ask to repeat my order and correct them they get mad at me. Can’t come back here anymore. I love the chicken but their customer service sucks!

I recently started going here for the pollo bowls and their guac salsa or whatever it is is so good! I drive down the alley to avoid traffic on Washington.

I always use the drive through and they constantly make mistakes that make my meal un-enjoyable. I’m the type that won’t complain the first few times, but how is it that they constantly forget things like the correct number and type of salsas? Why do you ask if you are going to give me whatever you feel like giving me? Why do I need to check my bag everytime and ask for what is wrong/missing? I don’t have to do that at any other fast food, but I have to check my food every single time here. Edit: So I had called the complain and I received a phone call back from the corp office. Basically I was told the problem would be resolved and he asked me my email so he can send me a free meal coupon. I told him I didn’t complain to get anything for free, I just want my order to be right. He insisted that I should take the coupon and I said OK. Guess what? I never got that email with the coupon. If you’re going to offer it, you should probably send it. I solved the problem though, I’m just never going to go back.

After the remodeling, the place is still not much of an upgrade and it remains to be crunched in space-wise. Clean up the salsa bar a little better as well, please.

We really like EPL. However, the past two times I’ve been to this location, the pieces of chicken have been very scrawny. I got the two piece, all white meat, and the wing that comes with it has no meat on it whatsoever. The breast is about ½ the size of a normal chicken breast. The combo, plus an extra side of broccoli was $ 10.50. If the chicken pieces were the size of pieces of chicken you can buy at the store and cook yourself, it would be totally worth it. But this was definitely subpar. I’ve not noticed this at other area locations.

Would you like water inside your burrito? I ordered the avocado chicken burrito and it was soggy from the start! Then after two bites it all fell apart and brown watery stuff came oozing out everywhere! Sick! I never had this happen before at El Pollo Loco! Yuk!

This is the only El Pollo Loco near my that has a drive thru. I love that they added steamed broccoli to the menu; I didn’t enjoy their steamed mixed veggie option as much but would order it. My fave salsa is the light green one because it’s really strong and hot/spicy, but not too much. I love getting the chicken legs or wings here. The other El Pollo Loco is on National and Sepulveda the West LA area. Also, I heard that Culver City has NOT banned the red light cameras to give you tickets if you run a light when I asked the cashier if I saw lighting. Apparently there is a camera there in the intersection that goes off a lot from unsafe drivers, so be mindful!

OK — 5 stars. I was going to click 4 stars«I’m a fan» but there’s nothing wrong with this place. As many others have said, they do a great job here. Sadly, many restaurant employees these days seem to do as little as possible to get through the day and apparently they don’t get paid enough to be happy or polite. Not here. I haven’t come across one employee having a bad day or not being polite. The manager took my order today with a smile and a bit of polite conversation. Really nice people here and the food is good. I used to work near this location and ate here for lunch many times. My standard lunch was usually a pollo bowl. Always consistent & good. Now, when I’m in the area, I remember the good food and service and pop in. I wanted to try the new puffy shell tacos. I got two chicken avocado poblano tacos. Excelente! I enjoyed every bite. They have a decent selection of salsas and sauces — serve yourself. While I was eating an employee came by with a platter of sauces and things and asked if I needed anything. This type of service is rare. I’m looking forward to stopping in soon and trying the two other flavors of puffy shell tacos; chicken guacamole and chicken & chorizo.
