I recently took my daughter to get her first haircut, the stylist Michelle did a great job! I would have to say that the stylist is great. The reason I give it 3 stars is the actual shop. You wouldn’t come here to get a fade or taper, but a lot of women come and get there hair done here. Its in the hood and oarking can be difficult. The price was definitely worth it. My daughter is still a baby so I will probably come again.

went there on Friday with my mom to get our done.(me full dye, my mom some highlights) All I can say is, Thank you to Linda! She has a gentle hand when doing the whole process. Most salons end up pulling so much hair out but not here, she was gentle. Once I knew she had a gentle hand(and mom agreed) we asked Linda to trim my 4 year old tips. Super friendly and kind, kept her calm and still, which was a bonus because shes usually über fidgety. Definitely recommend this shop, even if its not a elegant salon. I should mention Linda did my wedding day hairstyle and i LOVEDIT!!!

All i need is a lil style and trim! and thannnnk you Cony’s! I always go in for a trim. And i ALWAYS go for the young girl. She seems like she knows what’s up. **BEWARE of the He-She** That ladyman looks feroshhh! And based on word of mouth… will give you a 99cent job. I always pay $ 10, length doesnt seem to matter. Parking is easy(street parking, no meter). Almost always no waiting.. . and if you ever want to hear good gossip about people you have no idea about, this is the place. Those ladies are like Spanish version The View, mixed with Cristina, and some Maury.

Cony’s Beauty Salon is a little side shop on 24th St. Blink and you’ll miss it. Haircuts are $ 10 no matter what length your hair is and always I always get Cony to do it. As she cuts your hair she asks you for your opinion. It is after all your hair. I once went to get a hair cut at a shop nearby and the lady was seriously scissor happy, but that’s a whole other story. While she cuts your hair you can catch up on Spanish soap operas or the Spanish news. She also gives you tips on how to maintain your type of hair. She’s a sweet lady, and you get a decent haircut all for $ 10. She never cuts too much unless you ask her to.
