Had three cheese pupusas today, food came quickly and was AMAZING. Horchata was amazing also! Will definitely be returning.

In search of pupusas, we found this little gem. Of all the pupusaerias I’ve been to, this may be my favorite. They have the largest variety of pupusas I’ve ever seen — at least 30 I’d say. Really enjoyed the cheese, pork, jalapeño and cheese, spinach pupusas. At around $ 2.25 each I think it’s priced accordingly. The gf said the cheese and egg was her favorite. It takes a while for the kitchen to crank out the pupasas, so be prepared to wait 20min or so. Knocked them a star because it smelled a little funky inside. Other than that, I’d stop by again if in the area.

We came for the pupusa. I’ve been to several pupusarias & this restaurant has the most choices! An entire page of various vegetables, meats, EGGS, traditional, bean, garlic. Wonderful! I tried something new. The shrimp & eggs. Very good!!! I think my new favorite pupusa is cheese & egg! The also service breakfast all day. Standard breakfast foods. Traditional Latin foods & soups. Besides the food; restaurant is medium sized, gets busy, clean. Good service!

On December 29, 2015, I placed an order with Con Sabor over the phone for pick-up. I ordered a Veggie-Cheese Omelette, Fried Plantains with Beans, and an Ensalada drink. After I went in-person to pay and pick-up my order, I headed to my car in the lot. Once in my car, I checked to see if my order was correct. It turned out they gave me two Cheese Pupusas instead of a Veggie-Cheese Omelette! I went inside the restaurant to complain and the lady I started talking to said with attitude that I’d clearly asked for the pupusas over the phone. I told her that it was probably a miscommunication(she probably misinterpreted my words over the phone). When another lady came(most likely the manager), the lady I’d been talking to told her that I’d ordered pupusas and now wanted to change my order! The manager lady didn’t say much and walked away. I told the non-manager lady that I didn’t want the pupusas and that I’d want a refund or would pay the difference on the omelette. She asked if I wanted the omelette and I said«yes». I handed back the Cheese Pupusas that I didn’t want and payed the difference for the omelette. I later received the omelette, and ended up leaving with all I’d originally intended to leave with from the restaurant. At the end of the day, the food and drink I got from Con Saber was good. The service is what truly sucks on their behalf. If they misheard me over the phone, they should’ve been willing to make the order right for me in-person. I felt like the staff member I’d dealt with thought I was just trying to be difficult and she wanted me to keep the pupusas I obviously didn’t want. Con Saber was a reputable restaurant for me up until this scenario played out. I don’t think I’ll be making a return to the restaurant. For the record: I genuinely believe they have communication issues. It says on my receipt that the customer’s name was Clarissa, when I said my name was Teresa on the phone. A note for the restaurant: On my receipt it says the server was Francisca. I believe she was the lady I was complaining to in-person and who took my order over the phone.

Papusas are made fresh to order. That being said, they take a little longer than usual, especially if you come for dinner when it’s busy. But be patient, it’s worth the wait! I got 3 papusas: Chicharron, Revueltas, and Queso con frijoles. My favorite was the revueltas. The service here is decent and I will be back!

Great food and good atmosphere. The fried bananas and beans are my personal favorite. The orange juice is also amazing!

This place used to be so good! I just waited an hour for two raw pupusas, all the while the manager is glued to his phone and ignoring people asking if they can order, where there food is, or if they can please because they’ve asked three times to get the check. Get it together, please.

Totally worth it. We took a detour just to have lunch here. Good thing we decided to give it a try. Fantastic food! We ordered mojarra frita, plátano maduro with frijoles and crema, and pupusas revueltas. I just wish my stomach was bigger! The waitress was very nice, the place is really clean and again, the food! The fooooood! You will never regret this.

My #1 place to get pupusas by far. Revueltas con todo are my favorite of all. Top them off with curtido and special salsa and take a big bite filled with pork, beans and hot gooey cheese. They’re so good. Pair them off with a side of casamiento which is a medley of rice and beans and finish it off with fried plantains and a side of cream which tastes more like a sweet custard. makes my mouth water each and every time.

Horrible service… for some reason they have lots of attitude and don’t welcome customers… what happened to old fashion service… i always leave there feeling like they are racist… the pupusa is good… but not worth feeling like you are intruding on their restaurant…

I had the most delicious spinach papusa ever. The refried black beans and plantains were so good too! My shrimp taco was very oniony and it fell apart but I managed to eat it with a fork and still enjoyed it very much. The wait is long and our waters weren’t filled in a timely manner. It was very hot that day and we were all thirsty, but since the food is so good, I still give this place 4 stars!

Can we say, pupusas con ROACHES… Came in for lunch, ran out after seeing roaches, I paid for my drink, and the waitress asked what happened, I told her they have roaches she then very unbothered by it, she asked if I still wanted the order we put in. Ummm NO thanks,. Lol.

I like the place the order over the phone and pick it up 20 minutes later. The place itself is too small and lacks AC.

Now twice I’ve bought a tamal and it has a chicken bone in it and almost no chicken. The first time I didn’t take a picture because the owner said it was a mistake and that it was meant for him. Special request. Now today I just got grossed out. I went back and told the cashier and she said that that’s how they make them and people from el Salvador know this. I said the menu should indicate the tamal has bones for someone who’s not from there but loves the food. Now mind you i’ve been ordering them for two plus years without this happening. What if a child choked on it? She didn’t even apologize just rudely asked if I wanted my money back. That’s not a way to treat a customer nor address the issue. I love the carne asada and the pupusas here and should stick to them.

The pupusas are really good here. Best ones I’ve had so far. I’ve been to this place three times already. Always ask for extra cheese in all the pupusas. They have all sorts of pupusas. They also have vegan pupusas… I tried mushrooms, and jalapeño, con todo and revuelta. They are not greasy… they are just perfect. Pair those up with cola champagne soda and you will be satisfied. This is my spot for pupusas.

This is a great neighborhood spot. I love their pupusas, but all their other dishes are great as well. The food takes a little while, but it’s because it’s freshly made to order. Everything tasted home made. The service is super friendly and their prices are very cheap. I was pleasantly impressed.

The pupusas are delicious and the price is right. This is a good casual meal or take out option. Definitely order pupusas here. My usual favorite is the pork and cheese and the pork, cheese & jalapeño definitely has a spicy kick! The plantains are also delicious and are a great side if you want something sweet. The ensalada fruit drink was just okay– it wasn’t bad but I’ve had better. Mainly because the one here only had chopped apples in it. For El Salvadoran food, this is a great option for me when I don’t want to go all the way to Sonsonate Grill. They take credit card too!
