Colorful Nails

I use to come here back in the day all the time but now they have gotten from bad to worst no matter how much you tip them they still don’t do a good job. There’s a women in particular that is so lazy and does not want to work. They never listen to what you want but tell you what you should get. I swear it looks like I did not get my pedicure done at the nail shop but more like my little sister did it for me. I always say I will never come back and sometimes I always try to give them another chance but they are not worth your money. By the way the shop owner (old lady) is RUDE. There’s two people that work there that do a good job. The owners brother was the best thing for the shop but I don’t even think he works there anymore. I wish I can give them 0 stars.

I paid 10 bucks including tips for an awful manicure and cut cuticles. Let alone the fact that I had to ask them remove the gel polish which was so slopy and ugly. NEVER GOING BACK. If its cheap, there is a reason to it!!!

I’ve been coming here for years ! To get my eyebrows by Nancy she’s so sweet and always very helpful. (Jane is great too) Today I decided to get a simple manicure with natural nail polish and I was completely dissatisfied! If I knew my nails were going to look like this I should of done them myself. Tammy didn’t even color the entire nail and I still have cuticles sticking out. From now on I’m only sticking to this place just for my eyebrows.

Get your Acrylics done by Howard and eyebrows by Jane ! They both never seem to disappoint and I am always satisfied with my services by them !

To say that didn’t like it is to say nothing, no comments. Maybe sometimes they do it good, but not gel polish for sure.

This place just gets worse and worse. I’ve came here more than a few times and every time I do, I’m hoping and praying they redeem themselves, but instead they are going the opposite direction.
Pros: it’s very cheap. A manicure and pedicure is $ 17.
Cons: every time I come in, I have to remind whoever is doing my nails to please put a base coat before the polish is applied. The ladies always look mad when I ask. Um what? That’s your job. Do it right. Also, it seems like the instruments are never sterilized. I also have to remind them to please use sterilized instruments on me. It’s only by pure luck that I haven’t gotten an infection from the lack of proper sterilization techniques.
Don’t come here. You’ll thank me later.

It might not be your usual nail shop but they do a great job on their nails depending who you get. My nail tech was very nice and listened to what I wanted. They do not have name brand polishes. They speak amongst themselves and customers are unaware if it’s about them. I went in for a fill and got four designs and they added the stones for free! All for the price of 26 $! :)

They should have a sign in and communicate better with their customers. Waited 30 mins to get my nails done.

This was my first time to this salon let me say I was not impressed. First of all it was an hour wait time however they tell you it will only be twenty minutes. I decided to get almond shape acrylics one color which they charged me $ 24.00 not a bad price. When I first walked in a lady immediately started putting on my acrylic nails after she was done she told me to wait for one of the other ladies to be done. I had to wait an hour before anyone saw me! The lady who did my nails was okay she seemed a little annoyed. I felt like she did an okay job on my nails over all. All though the price is great the costumer service was not. I would back only if all the other nearby salons were busy.

I went to this place just because didn’t have the time to make an appointment at my regular spa place. I’m very disgusted. I saw roaches around they have the drinking water. The carpet and couches everything is filthy. Price is cheap but I rather pay more for a clean place and nice customer service. The girls there don’t communicate well and aren’t polite. The worst place to have your nails done. Run away quickly before you catch a fungus or infection.

I’m very satisfied with the service I received at Colorful Nail. This was my first time there, very please with the service. I have been to two other nail shops within the last six weeks, very unsatisfied and did not plan on going back to neither one of them. The guy who did my nails was very friendly and he really knew what he was doing it. I’m very pleased and will be going back.

This is the worst nail salon ever. All the employees are rude. Very unsanitary and it smells strange. A mani is only $ 8 but you get what you pay. If you want a good mani go somewhere else, this isnt the place to go at all.

If you want something cheap and a bit quick this is the place to go. I usually have the only guy there do my acrylics, but he wasn’t there yesterday, so one of the ladies named Mimi, did my gel acrylics for $ 30. She was extremely rough on my fingers. I got a few cuts. I prefer that you go to the guy to do acrylics, but if you really need them done you can go to Mimi, just be cautious that she does get in deep into the skin and it may cause you to have cuts and bleed.

I don’t know if I was just having a bad day or what! But I called and made an appointment so I wouldn’t have to wait. I told the lady I would be there in 15 minutes… I got there in exactly 17 minutes… I checked!!! And this old rude lady yelled at me in front of all the other people and said I would have to wait because I was late!!! So I just sat and waited for 45 minute! It’s gross in there and it smells weird … Like must! I will never come here again even if every nail shop in LA were to close down NEVAAAA!!!

I didn’t like it at all. First of all it’s too hot in there second the waiting area is dirty and third the lady who did my nails didn’t even take a whole hour and I was getting both manicure and pedicure. She didn’t even take her time. I was waiting more time to get called than when I was getting my nails done. My «gel» nails were already chipping off by the 3^rd day.

I’ve been going to this nail shop for many years. It is trye it’s not the cleanest or the nicest people. But i go back for one person and one person only TAMMY. She is the best and always gets my nails done the way i want them. The prices are reasonable. Only thing that does bother me is that for the most part they do speak in their language all the time. Wish they could change that.

If I could give less stars I would! This place is so rude always taking in their language & making u wait even when u have an appointment. I’ve been coming here for years! & have sent them hundreds of customers & yet they still treat me like they are doing me a favor by servicing me. I will not come back & I suggest u dnt even bother coming here!

Bad serves, they don’t care about their regular customers.

If you are looking for something cheap than this is the place to go. But if you are looking for great quality than I don’t recommend this place at all.
My personal experience: I go because it’s cheap and I’m a college student so it’s not like I have extra cash laying around to get a 50 dollar manicure and up. Every time I go I always get burned! My skin is to sensitive for all the chemicals they put on your hand. So if you have sensitive skin, I don’t recommend you going either. Unless you are like me and suck it up because that’s all I can afford. Then go right ahead. Lol I give this place 3 stars.

I’m usually bangin’ out with bangs but when I feel like baring face, this is my place!
JANE is the BEST when it comes to EYEBROW WAXING! I’ve been going to her for several years, back when LA was my hood and even now, I will travel the distance because she knows all about eyebrow shaping, trimming and makeup coloring. She can seriously turn any bushy brow into the perfect arch.
If I have time (and there’s no wait for Jane), I would try to get my nails done here as well. The ladies are all pretty nice and very accommodating!
