Great mom and pop donut shop in Highland Park. I bought two dozen donuts for work and was given two additional donuts per dozen for free. Each dozen was $ 9. This shop is popular with local who like to start off their morning with a cup of coffee and with students who attend the nearby High School. Parking in the morning may be limited in the strip mall parking.

I wanted a simple bagel with Crème cheese, avocado and bacon and that wasn’t any problem at all. Simple but very good bagels! Coffee could be more bold though. But in general very good!

I like how they give you some free donut holes every time you purchase a donut. I also pass by sometimes during a hot afternoon to buy iced mocha. It’s decent. My friend bought an avocado boba one time, but she says she could hardly taste the avocado. Anyway, they have other menu than donuts. Sandwiches, boba drinks, nachos, etc. See my pictures for the menu

Christy’s has been in this location longer than I’ve been in the hood 22+ Years! If your looking for a good basic donut they have you covered, not the greatest but definitely good, they also have a large menu selection of Hot and Cold Sandwiches, Bagels and Croissants filled with Eggs, Meats and Cheeses… Coffee is good they also have smoothies and other drinks though I’ve not tried them. Bear Claw — It was early AM so it was nice and fresh, nice crumble on top and soft inside, look at those claws OH and let’s not forget the surprise inside a nice amount of apple filling. Don’t forget your Lotto Tickets!

It’s across the street from the not so super ‘El Super’ on the corner in the shopping plaza where the Subway and the Domino’s Pizza are. The Maple Bars are the size of your face! Icees, smoothies, delicious croissant sandwiches, AND boba. The Hipsters can keep their pretentious Café de Leche. This place is way cooler and the service is far friendlier.
