Dr. Ng is a truly caring doctor and wants to selflessly help his patients. I was referred to Dr. Chris Ng by my OB during my 3rd trimester of pregnancy, due to an obstruction between my right kidney and bladder causing intense pain, not allowing any sleep, thus affecting my pregnancy as well as making it difficult for me to work during the day. Since I was pregnant, taking any strong medication to address the pain was not a choice and I was not willing to take any risk to the baby by doing additional diagnosis or getting a stent put in. Since the obstruction was irrelevant to being pregnant, my OB could not put me on a disability leave earlier than 37 weeks. Before seeing Dr. Ng, I had already pursued another urologist, but she was unwilling to do any disability paperwork since I was pregnant. I had already been suffering for about 4 weeks and was in a pickle as to how to take time off work, this is when my OB referred me to Dr. Ng for possible help. My experience has been nothing short of phenomenal from getting an immediate appointment with him, to meeting with him, to having him write a letter to approve my disability. Dr. Ng was so warm from the moment he walked in the door; he could see right away how miserable I looked from lack of sleep, stress from work, and how I had been struggling to gain any weight despite being in my 3rd trimester. He offered to help right away by personally dealing with my company’s disability carrier Metlife, as well as filling out the forms on the CAEDD website, and writing a very genuine, convincing letter for me to provide EDD. Keep in mind, Dr. Ng is the chief urologist at Tower Urology at Cedars Sinai, and I may not even need him to provide any medical help if the obstruction clears after I deliver, yet he has personally dealt with me over email and wrote a timely letter by midnight the night before I visited the EDD office. Within a week of visiting him, my disability was approved. It has been a couple weeks now and I thank him everyday for giving me the time and courage to manage the pain until I deliver my baby. Overall, this speaks volumes for Dr Ng’s character and makes you believe that some doctors are in their profession to merely help their patients. Thank you Dr. Ng!

After several painful surgeries & meeting with over a handful of urologists, I was hanging by a string & quickly losing faith, and then I met Dr. Christopher Ng(pronounced«ing») who is a urologist & surgeon @ Tower Urology Medical Group of Cedars Sinai. Within moments of meeting with him, he put all of my concerns at rest & promised to do anything & everything to help. Unlike some of the other physicians/surgeons I have met, I believed him. He didn’t have that«god complex» that many Dr’s suffer from. He’s never left any question unanswered, listens carefully, is both sensitive & responsive, always returns phone calls & has an amazing bed side manner, which is a unique trait, especially for a surgeon. Since September of last year, he has done a few surgical procedures & performed a complicated surgery on me, holding my hand every step of the way, with words of encouragement & a smile on his face. He wasn’t only there for me, but for my parents as well. As they waited anxiously during the procedures & surgery, he never failed to come out & give them an update on how things were going, how I was doing, what was found & how things would be resolved. He even took pictures & brought them out to give my parents as visuals for a better understanding of what we were dealing with. I am so grateful to Dr. Ng for every thing he has done for me & the support he continues to give. Without a blink of an eye, I would highly recommend him. He’s definitely a special human being with a golden touch & a heart to match.
