Worst customer service in Brentwood. Sold a liquid soap that stained towels and tried every possible way to avoid return for credit. Owner and employees — Rude.

Brentwood Beauty Supply provides the best beauty products from around the world. I have been traveling back and forth from New York City to Los Angeles and the service has always been excellent. Staff is very knowledgable and professional. There maybe other beauty supply stores near the area but no one comes close to their level of expertise. Thank You Brentwood Beauty Supply!!!

Thanks for changing your staff around and for putting in pleasant sales people again that want to help. I went in reluctantly in need of hair color and to my surprise things had changed and improved. I’m so happy I can walk in again feeling warm and fuzzy.

Bad Costumer Service. While their items are often good, the tall bleached blonde saleswoman who works there is abrasive and rude.

Please do yourself a favor and walk away. I walked in asking for a recommended hair color. The lady behind the counter said she was out, but had a different brand that was«exactly the same». I said sure. If you say it’s identical. I then asked for black. She handed me «dark brown». I repeated I wanted black hair color. She said she was a hair stylist and she is telling me it’s the same. Blck is black. Dark brown is not black. They have different names and numbers for a reason. They are different. She rolled her eyes and walked back to the counter and sat down. My husband(in an effort to help) asked her if she would be restocking black and she again rolled her eyes at him and told him«she should go somewhere else and get her hair color because she doesn’t know what she wants». I think I was clear. I wanted Igor Royal color, black. You don’t have Igor Royal. And you don’t have black. So I know what I want. You don’t have it. No need to be obnoxious and rude. Please give your business to kind and respectful store owners. I went less than 1 mile to LaPeer Beauty and got amazing service and exactly what I needed.

Love this shop! So, I straighten my hair a lot and had another blow dryer bite the dust. So, I decided it was time to get a real blow dryer, not one from CVS. I stopped in to see what they had. Rosa was SONICE! She asked me a few questions about what was important to me… in this case 1) Light weight, 2) LONG cord, 3) Ionic and Ceramic and 4) a well placed cool shot button. The latter is the secret to AMAZING hair!!! She showed me a few options and even opened the boxes so I could get a feel for each blow dryer. I selected one and then also picked up more of my new favorite hair product Bumble and Bumble Straight. I’ve been to other beauty supplies in the area and this is my favorite.

Used to love this place for cosmetic cases and hair accessories as well as higher end hair products. Never was impressed by the customer service but the quality products out weighed it. Last visit I found the selection less impressive and the quality of the accessories declined. At the register the sales person overcharged me $ 20 and I knew it sounded high. I asked and she said that was my total. I paid and was bothered by it my whole trip home. I looked at my receipt and added it up and I was correct. I was overcharged $ 20. Called the store back and they weren’t even apologetic and the woman said it was already in the register so it came out in my receipt. No efforts were made to remedy the situation and no one apologized. There are too many other overpriced stores with cute products that don’t over charge and have decent customer service. I’m done here!!!

I totally found this place by accident. I work nearby and tend to get some of my beauty supplies from CVS. Don’t get me wrong CVS serves a purpose but being able to have access to a beauty supply during my lunch hour is a huge bonus because it saves me from having to drive to one for those specialty items. They have a great selection ranging from candles to hair products. So obviously I bought stuff I didn’t need and I’ll for sure be back. I love small neighborhood businesses! :)

I received a very nice email from the Owner of this business who apologized for any issues I might have had. The email was very sweet and not defensive. I decided to go back and you know what??? It was a completely different experience. Great customer service and the prices seemed in line with what I expected to pay. I am going to be a regular from now on. :)

Not a terrible store, but not great either. I’ve been here twice. I probably won’t go back. First time was ok, but I felt like I was being watched the entire time … I started looking at nail polish and the store lady came owner to start«sorting» nail polishes, maybe because she wanted to be right next to me? She also wouldn’t let me try the nail polish on my nails — instead, I had to stick bits of scotch tape on my hand and paint on top of those! Super weird. The second time I went to look for hair coloring for Halloween. Different lady this time, and she didn’t seem to understand what«hair chalk» meant. She showed me something like mascara, and it was bright pink when I had asked for brown. I said I’d think about it later in the day, and she was nasty and rude about it! She shrugged her shoulders and gave me the«eff you» look! I’m not coming back. This store is ok, but not good enough to justify dealing with rude storekeepers.

I have been here several times and am always pretty impressed with the variety and selection they manage to cram into a small space. Its a cute store with a good selection. The return policy is somewhat stringent which is typical for a small store and if it weren’t for that, I would probably buy almost everything here!

Succinct, nice little place that deserves a succinct, nice little review. A friend and I popped in quickly to get a few things, and I came away with gorgeous glittery OPI nail polish on sale for $ 4.25! Place seems family run, complete with cute little old man working the counter. I definitely want to go back when I have more time and find the right shampoo for my ombré dyed hair(oily roots, dry ends. waah!).

I needed a new hair straightener. Simple task, yet I haven’t been able to find a good one! Those creepy people in the mall always try to straighten my hair with theirs, but I needed a real beauty supplies store with real, credible products. Luckily, Brentwood Beauty Supply is right down the street! I stopped in, found my original Chi hair straightener for a reasonable price, and a bright green nail file. The saleswoman and her husband(the owners, I’m assuming?) were super sweet and helpful. They gave me a ton of samples for shampoos and conditioners that could help my problem hair(wavy, thick, straight in some places, and frizzy) and gave me the nail file for free! I loved the family-vibe and the fact that it’s right down the street. I also really like that they carried some different products that were imported. I’ll have to check those out soon!

Service at the beginning was good — two very nice sales women assisted me as I looked for a few hair products. One of the products I wasn’t sure about, but the saleswoman continued to ask me to buy it. Because it was rather expensive for a shampoo($ 38), I hesitated, but she continued to tell me it was the best item for what I was looking for. In the end, I decided not to buy it. I did purchase 4 other items with my debit card, however, and was handed a receipt, a business card, and left. Later, when I looked in my bag, I noticed that the receipt was not itemized, and I did the quick math on the items I had purchased. I was overcharged by $ 10. Next, I look at the business card, thinking it was the card of the saleswoman who helped me. No, it was the card for an unrelated ‘Financial Services consultant’ who I can only assume was related to the saleswoman. The whole transaction felt fishy and pressured. I want to believe that the overcharge is an honest mistake, and am taking the receipt and items back on Monday for an honest check.
