Come on!!! All these reviews are fake! I ate there and I really would never pay for this tasteless food again. There are so many other places worth going to around the area. The old place and owner was better then now and even that did not stay. Dont waste your time!

I drove by heading another different restaurant in this strip mall but as I passed by this restaurant it catches my eye. I haven’t have had shawarma in a while and walked in to please my sudden urge. I ordered a shawarma plate and I am incredibly happy to have spotted this amazing little spot. The meat was delicious and the pita incredibly soft. Would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.

I love this restaurant. It always Feels like walking in the streets of old Jerusalem. The food is absolutely amazing, the staff Is nice and friendly the place is always clean and tidy. I ordered the falafel balls dish one time it was amazing. My husband is stuck on The shawarma plate there every time we pay a visit.. I’ve been in many middle eastern restaurants but this takes them all. Did I mention great food?

Really surprised to find this place in some random parking lot and for it to be as good as it was, but i guess that is what Unilocal is all about. finding these random treasures and telling people hey, it’s actually okay to eat at that hole in the wall. it’s clean, cheap, and the food is really amazing. This is really one of those finds. I had a shawarma baguette(my first time ever eating shawarma in a baguette.) it was REALLY flavorful. it was a huge meal and worth every penny. i will for sure be back and ill be bringing friends so be ready for me!

I am not familiar with Kosher food so it was an interesting experience visiting B & H Grill the 1st time. The stack of met on the spit caught my eyes, I found out that it was chicken shawarma so I ordered the shawarma sandwich. I got to see how my sandwich was prepared, the server kept asking if i wanted this or that salad, I said everything. I also order a falafel sandwich that was also made with various salads and topped with some special sauce. I dislike traditional American sandwiches dressed up with lettuce and tomato and mayo as I don’t care about any one of them. The sandwiches that I had at B & H were appetizing. I preferred the falafel sandwich, the shawarma was little bi t too salty for me. For 3 more dollars, you can get a chicken shawarma plate with two side orders. It would be my choice except that there were not much too choose from, the side orders were rice, hummus, fries or mashed potato. It would be wonderful if they add small salad as a side. I enjoyed the salads they put inside the sandwiches and would like to have more. I went there late, they ran out of other things I would like to try so I look forward to going there for lunch next time.

SODELICIOUS! I went in last week with a friend of mine as I’d been eyeballing this place for a couple weeks. We couldn’t have been happier. The gents behind the counter were completely awesome and helpful and were happy to give us tastes and recommendations. She got the falafel plate. Dror(I believe his name was) cooked them up, walked over to us and, with a sly smile said, «Try them.» I bit into one and it was the best falafel I’d ever tasted. I got the shawarma pita sandwich with the Israeli salad. They also put some more salads of my picking(but their suggestions) inside the sandwich. Wow. Best shawarma I’ve ever had! I’ve been counting the days until I could go back and this time got the shawarma plate. Again, fantastic! I’m looking going back this week for some of their daily specials! Try it. You won’t be sorry.

We came here as a family and had the most amazing dinner. We each ordered different dishes. Chicken, falafel & shwarma. All were out of this world! The sides were all fresh & tasty. By far my favorite was the schug(green hot sauce)! I took some to go it was so amazing! The restaurant was clean, amazing fast service & delicious food. Do I need to say any more?

Really good, but kind of pricey; but that’s kind of expected as the cost for food is only going to go up. Their fries are absolutely fantastic! They are homemade, and really, really big! All the cooking is home cooked and Kosher. I got the chicken pita sandwich with a lot of sauces that I cannot pronounce :) The chicken shawarma was incredibly tender :)

First, let me start off by saying that I’ve been here several times since this owner took over. He’s always friendly, the place is always clean, and the food was fine. That being said, today this place drops way, way down due to poor customer service and bland food. Let’s address the service problem. I showed up around 5:20, there were two people eating and one guy who was waiting for his order. One of the guys finished eating and walked up to the counter and quietly mentioned to the owner that the rice was hard. I glanced at the rice and sure enough, it looked like it had been made this morning and left out all day. It looked hard. The owner turns to me to take my order and the minute I said«hamburger and fries» he walked away and told his cook something in Spanish. I waved my hands to get his attention because I had laryngitis and couldn’t speak up. He came back and I said«I also want a shawarma plate, a falafel pita, and a combo salad plate.» He looked surprised and asked, «To go?» I mean, I know I’m overweight, but even that was more food than I would eat. So, now I’m insulted. «Yes, to-go,» I said. Meanwhile, two elderly men walk in, one sits down, and the other stands near me at the counter. The owner immediately stops talking to me and helps this guy. The cook comes over and he makes my shawarma plate. He walks away. Another guy walks in and the owner helps him. More talking in Spanish between the owner and the cook. The cook comes over and prepares the pita with several cold salads in it, then walks away. One of the elderly men comes back up and asks for more food. He gets it. The cook comes back and puts the falafel balls in the pita. It’s about 12 minutes since I’ve walked in and they haven’t flipped that burger yet. I’m hoping it’s not burned. Another guy walks in and he’s helped. I’m not happy. C’mon, 15 minutes in and I’m still waiting for the hamburger and fries and the combo salad. The hamburger gets put together — the owner had to tell the cook at least twice no tomato. I don’t see my fries. I mouth to the cook, «Fries?» He goes to shake the fry basket and says, «Soon.» The cook keeps going to the back of the place to do something, but his back is to me, so I can’t see what he’s doing, but it’s clearly not my combo salad. The owner comes over and I say, «Combo salad?» He tells the cook who comes to the front and I direct which cold salads I want. The owner starts to close the container and I said, «No falafel balls?» He says, «No, but if you want some I’ll put some in for you.» Right, like at this point, 25 minutes later, I want to wait for falafel balls to cook which should have been included in the first place. At every other falafel place a combo salad plate always includes falafel balls. Whatever. The owner then puts the to-go container down for the fries and the cook tips the fry basket into it. I’m thinking to myself ‘those puppies have been frying a very long time, I hope they’re not burned.’ Time to pay and the owner throws me a bone«No charge for the fries today.» Oh, because it took 20 minutes to cook them? Gee, thanks. Can’t wait to taste them. Basically, I couldn’t have felt like he valued my patronage less. I’m thinking, ‘Because I’m a woman? Because I’m not dressed Orthodox?’ No clue. We may not be Orthodox, but we keep kosher. There are all kinds of Jews. I came to this place as opposed to another falafel place because this was closer and according to the Unilocal reviews, the food was great and the portions were tremendous. Just what I wanted. All I was thinking as they were spooning out portions of the cold salads were they were trying to put the least amount in. No big portions here, folks! They didn’t even ask whether I wanted the onion grilled on the burger.(I would have preferred it to raw slices.) Every time a new customer came in, my order had to wait. I get home 30 minutes after having left the house. I live a minute away. Now, the food part. My son said the burger was good, but the fries were hard and tasteless. Hmm, what a surprise. I think they got cooked to death. My daughter said the shawarma was good, but the cold salads were bland. I had the falafel — free combo salad plate — the salads were indeed bland and the carrots were still hard. I can’t wait for my husband to come home after working a 12-hour shift to enjoy his falafel pita. I’m guessing this guy had all his close friends write the Unilocal reviews. I won’t be back.
