Amazing vintage clothing and records. The vintage pieces are not just your run of the mill pieces– they are exceptional. The prices are also good, especially for what you are getting. The records are top notch too (although I was a little too busy gawking at all the amazing clothing to really go through them, but trust me, they both know their cool sh*#!) a recommends to people in the know ;)

Carmen you’re magical.
Whether its that perfect pair of dark corral highwaisted bell-​bottoms or an Afghani vest from the 30s– this place has treasures galore.
I can only come here once a month, because I ALWAYS want to buy everything.

Holy Jeezuz, this is THE BEST vintage clothing collection I have ever seen. Carmen has an unbelievable eye for the most amazing pieces that you will not find anywhere. The store is huge and wall to wall with the most superb selection, frequented by in-​the-​know photographers and stylists who scoop up the best stuff! And, Carmen is a beautiful person in every way. Highly recommend this gem!!!

I discovered Avalon Vintage last summer and have now frequented the spot as one of my go to’s for any special event I have to go to.
The selection is truly wonderful and so much fun stuff to look and sort through!
Without a doubt I can always find something.

I was here earlier today it was amazing and the shop lady was super sweet and helpful! I was on the hunt for vinyl all afternoon and had no luck finding anything til I stumbled upon this place, the record selection is very decent, fairly priced, and organized pretty neatly. I’m so glad I found it and will most definitely be stopping by again. They are closed Monday’s and open from 12pm to 7pm I believe.

I am sure these reviews are of friends or from the owners request… because no one in their right mind would give 5 stars to a place that isn’t ever open.
Avalon Vintage is more like their sign, «back in 20» I have been trying to go into this shop for a week now, but every single time I go, this sign is posted on the door. There is also no business sign on the outside so I also had no way of looking them up, or calling and or finding out the hours they are open. They have rather late opening hours, I’m guessing because I tried to go there this morning at 11am and the gate to the large window was still locked down. Today on my third attempt to go to this store if you call it that, I was greeted by a rude man, whom I am guessing to be the owner because he had his feet up and the phone to his ear uninterested in me or my buisness. His phone call to a business partner or girlfriend/​boyfriend took far more importance than me finally being able to step foot into his ‘grand facility.’ I love vintage everything, and have a large vintage collection and am alway looking to grow my collection, but I would never give another moment to a man who sat with his feet up on the table degrading his employees making me wait until his conversation of triumph was over… This is what I have to say about Avalon Vintage, your clothes are few, your records are selective and your space in univiting. I pity any future customers and employees who have to put up with your behavior.

Best ever anywhere. Carmen has an amazing curatorial eye for vintage clothing and is a fashion inspiration herself. Rodney is the king of cool records. There is always a treasure to be found. I love this place.

Best vintage dresses in Los Angeles!

Unbelievable LP finds at super fair prices. The owner is really cool, friendly, & with great stories of his years in NYC. A mega Patti Smith, Brian Eno fan too, you know you’re in good hands.

I’ve been hooked on most of them but finally found this gem of a store. Avalon is by far my favorite and great for collectors as far as selection, condition and layout of the records. The fact that it’s two blocks away makes it a little too perfect for me.
