Joseph turned my photography purchases into a true works of art with his keen eye for matting and framing! The first time I used his services, I went in with a basic idea of what I wanted and after a brief discussion, he made several suggestions which had not even crossed my mind. Using the multitude of matting and framing samples in his studio, he illustrated a few of my favorite options from those we discussed. The final project was incredible and enhanced the beauty of my print. Everyone who sees the piece comments on how awesome it is and often note how perfect the matte and frame choice are for it. Searching for a neighborhood yet professional business, I ended at a place where Joseph used to work. I have done business with them at least 3 times and I have nothing but AMAZING things to say. They had handled all my pieces with extraordinary professionalism, giclees, prints and a couple of (under some people’s eyes, pricey) originals. I always brought them to be handled by Joseph and Joseph ONLY. He made them look like museum pieces… Unbelievable!
One experience in particular (my last), I brought him an original sketch on paper, that was framed by an «expert» in original pieces of art. Unfortunately that «expert» decided to glue the piece to the back of the frame. After being turned down by experts on paper restoration places and been warned that if they could or even if they tried to do it, it would be around $ 500. Joseph took the time to research and do it himself. Of course I freed him from any responsibility if the piece got any damaged. The piece looks incredible!, he removed EVERYTHING!, it looks like it never had been glued, just like before and it looks just like it should!
Now he has his own bussiness and I followed him. I will, with any doubt, bring all my business, my referrals and anybody I can to him. He will work and offer you the best price (and he is very honest about it, you can tell he care about your business), he will assist you with decision making and he even offer hanging services, which I have use too. My walls now look great.
Please, trust me, I have nothing to do nor related to him in any way, just very happy and endlessly grateful for his work and for saving one of my most (if not the most) priced pieces.
