More than a snack shop, it’s a diner. I recommend breakfast, which is served all day, or the burritos & quesadillas. Quesadillas are made with mozzarella so not as greasy as usual — unique really. But 5 stars for the friendly, hard-working staff — the owner John, manager Hector, & cook Matteo(missing from my pic is Berlin, who no longer works there). My coworkers and I ate there a lot since it was cheap and quick. Most menu items are $ 4 – 6 as they cater to the garment workers in the bldg. Try it, you’ll like it — and be sure to tell them Jason sent you!

Ok so this place is not the kind of place I would normally go to(i.e. a non-recommended hole in the wall joint), but I happened to be going to the bank across the street and was freaking starving — looked around and saw this place. Ehhh why not? Wasn’t quite sure what to order since it’s your typical mom and pop store that had mostly Mexican food(burritos, tacos, tortas and the like), but also had some typical fare: cheeseburgers, fries, and er, teriyaki bowls. Who knows what’s good? I ordered the chicken burrito and an order of taquitos and was pleasantly surprised! It was pretty gosh darn tasty. The chicken was hand torn into chunks(I could tell by the way it looked — Yes I am a chicken expert!) Not like Casa Vega or El Taurino mexican food, but more little-shop-on-the-corner style. Besides the occasional fellow patron(You) gawking at a young female(Me), the atmosphere is quite non-descript. Just some place to eat a quiet lunch and get on with the day. Make sure to put coins in the meter when you park!!! Parking enforcement in this area are like vultures.
