i went today to asthe (seung sook)
it is sooo far from my house
i was thinking about the cancel my appointment.
my hair is kind of curly and fuzzy
so i decied to do S curl volume magic
seung sook do it for me
omg soooooo nice and Amazing job
but i paid little too much
i still love it

Weird thing to say but I never knew there was a hair salon in this plaza. I frequented this plaza to go to a bar downstairs quite a few times and never realized there was a hair salon up stairs. I went here with my Bestie because she recommended this place. I was really hesitating where to go because I was about to change my hairstyle completely.
I decided to cut my hair kind of short, about the length below my ears. I have really long hair or I should say I «had» long hair but I wanted to cut it short and do some perm.
Cut was pretty nice and the perm came out really good. I did what is called ‘cushion perm’ which gives a nice c-​curl perm to the ends of your hair. I really like it and it saves a lot of my time when I’m getting ready.
I’ve been getting lots of compliments from my friends and some say I look better with short hair. I am still in the stage of getting used to it. But I cant lie that I miss my long hair at the same time.
Will probably recommend this place if you are doing a perm or a short hairdo. I am definitely going back here for my trim and possibly color my hair before it gets too cold.

I went there because one of my friend told me to try from designer name Kyung Hee because she came from high-​end salon back in Korea so I decided to try and she made me look lot younger and also she gave me a great service I will be a regular customer from now on.

made an appointment and arrived about 10 minutes before and they made me wait an additional 40 minutes before they only washed my hair and gave me scalp tickle. after i waited even more at my seat i noticed she was nowhere close to being finished even with her three assistants so i decided to leave. me being a guy my cut wouldve took twentyfive at the most porbably and im pretty sure her assistants wouldve been able to handle themselves since the main hair cut lady wouldve been right next to them. pathetic service perhaps becauae i wasnt a fobby korean and was dressed in jeans a hoodie. this review is based on what i went through not an actual haircut.

I didn’t want to buy into the hype. I walked in INCREDIBLY wary of the fact that this was a Korean place. I was expecting the same thing I got at most Korean hair salons:
«You want your hair layered?»
«Yes, but I have an angular face so I need it to be-​«
“I got it.»
«…»
I normally end up walking away from my haircuts very disappointed and/​or pissed off. This place, however, was great!
As soon as I sat down, I explained to them my horror stories of Korean places and shared that it had been over a year since I cut my hair because I couldn’t find a place I wanted to take a risk on. However, I had heard nothing but great things about this place so decided to take the risk.
I am SO happy I did! I was so happy with their work and friendly service that I booked a blow dry and styling appointment for my family portrait session on Tuesday. I’m glad that I found a trustworthy place close to home and easier on my wallet!!!

This is a great place to get a haircut if you like being treated well. Interior is amazing with Italian marble and design. My haircut is always great with whoever cuts my hair. Although I can never remember their Korean names. The best part of the experience is after they wash my hair they give an amazing head massage for a few minutes. Pure Bliss…

I am a very busy person. I like to get in and out. But when I’m out, I expect to look different, stylish. Aesthe Hair Salon is just perfect. So far, they never double booked my appointments (which most busy dressers make you do even with an appointment). Place is located in a private salon suite where I am not exposed while I am getting my hair or nails done. No spectators. Private and professional.
I have no doubt my stylist is the best in town.

i wad shocked by the interior once i walked in because the inside looks totally opposite from the outside! all the stylists are friendly that they greet people every time they walk in and out of the salon. they also have breads from cake house on Saturdays for anyone who is hungryyyyy_!

BY THE WAY — note that Seong-​Suk is no longer at RA Beauty Core (even though RA tries to deceive you into thinking she’s still there and doesn’t tell you). You can call her cell directly at 213−999−1472 and make appointments (Seong-​Suk has given permission to post this number on Unilocal).
She is super polite, listens to what you want, and is very talented.
Definitely check her out. There’s plenty of free parking in front.
