Perfect. Simply perfect. When we went, I think we got there right after a rush so they were literally out of everything. The only options we had to order were pretty much the ACA plates minus the pork belly as they were out of that too. So my husband and I each got plate #1. I asked to replace the chorizo with more adobo(as I’m not a huge fan of chorizo) and my husband got both chorizo and adobo. When we got our plates, I think what caught me most by surprise was how colorful and healthy the plate looked. It was very neat. I took the first bite and good lord… I must have gone into a trance. The next few minutes were literally like i had been blown out of this world and into some far away land of beauty and deliciousness. The adobo didn’t have the slightest hint of that nasty meat grease that I’ve grown so accustomed to from other restaurants. It was juicy and tasted healthy and full of flavor. Not only that, it was definitely slow cooked to perfection. It was so heavenly, I felt like my life was complete. The veggies were so perfectly cooked and seasoned as well. Some were fresh and some were cooked I don’t remember exactly but all the tastes blended together so well. And the sauce(I’m assuming it’s salsa verde)! The sauce brought the meat up onto a whole other level. It was already good but with the sauce. goodness gracious. Why hadn’t I ever come to this place before? This is definitely going to be one of our regular stops when we come to LA. One of the owners came over to us and we talked for a while. Really nice guy. I tried to convince him to open one of these grills up in Redlands or somewhere closer to us in the IE. Perhaps in the future, he says. LA. you guys are blessed solely because this restaurant exists in your midst.

As you try the meat, you can tell, the cook is an experienced asador. I grew up spending my weekends having traditional Argentinian BBQ parties with family and friends. ACA grill has accomplished what most Argentinian restaurants in LA couldn’t, the excellent taste of Asado that I have been looking for many years. The regulars come here because they want the true taste of meat, delicious chimichurri(table sauce that goes will with meat) or hot sauce, and eat in a ambiance of a nice sit down restaurant. Good food has entered the fashion district, and if you never been here, you should give it a try!

An oasis in a food desert. Let’s keep it real, food choices down here by the fashion district suck. You got some hip joints where u have to pay 15 $ for an alright meal or sandwhich. Breadlounge? If u like korean there’s yang ban sulungtang. Plenty of Mexican spots around. Aca grill is legit. I’ve been to the ktown one, this one’s way bigger. Some dude said they don’t compare to the ktown one… that guy obviously doesn’t work close by. This place is a gem and compared to what else is out here, and tastes the same to me. DELICIOUS. THECOMBOPLATEIS9.99… U get asado pork belly chorizo, beans corn rice salad and slaw. u know what 10 bucks normally buys u these days? Especially at hipster places? An appetizer. 2 pieces of something and a mint leaf. I hope yall in the fashion district wake up and come here. It’s quiet, maybe they need help marketing. It’s obviously a family run joint. Dont let them go out of business. This is the best food in fashion district right now and we need to make sure they stay Location is kinda hidden but there’s free parking. Eat here. U won’t regret it. I need you to so they stick around so I can continue eating here cause I’m sick of tacos and hipster food.

So I have been coming here once a week for the past 5 weeks. The food is great here. I like the hot sauce that they have here. The workers are very nice and friendly, you can tell they enjoy working there. I would recommend this place to meat lovers. The waiter Simon is really chill. Yiu can tell he likes working there and he treats everyone very nicely. The only problem is I don’t have enough time to go everyday.

I love world peace. I love my mother. I love Jesus. Also, I love Aca Grill. If I had a choice of eating Aca Grill every day of my life, I would. But mom says I can’t, so. Eating at Aca Grill isn’t so much a meal as it is an EXPERIENCE. Remember your first kiss? That time you went sky diving? Your wedding day? Not me. I haven’t done any of those things. But I’ve eaten at Aca. I’ve tasted the tender kisses of succulent meats in my mouth. And that, my friends, is all I will ever ask of life. In the immortal words of beloved 19th century philosopher and Transcendentalist Ralph Waldo Emerson: «A man needs naught in life, but only to have been kissed by succulent meats in his mouth.» Thank you, Aca. As far as I’m concerned, YOU’RE my first kiss.

A 2 star rating for this place is just upsetting… Why, you ask? Well, because I’ve eaten at their other location in Koreatown and it was amazing. I was suuuuper stoked that there was a location close to my work and ordered there expecting the same kind of quality, but alas… it was not to be… I ordered the ACA plate 1, which is what I usually get and my first bite threw me off. «Wait…this IS the same place… right?» I said to myself… the rice, the meat… especially the chorizo was NOT the same. You know what I think it was? There was no love that went into making it. You can taste that sort of thing. I MIGHT try it again, but… I’m a bit hesitant. We’ll see…
