This place doesn’t even exist! Wasted so much gas just to get here and there is no one! And the building is so hard to find right off the freeway! I recommend you guys to delete this account this isn’t even a restaurant! There is nothing there

This place has good food, it’s one of the nicer restaurants in this area. They also do very quick delivery.

IGNOREALLTHEMURDERMYSTERYREVIEWERS. First of all, why the hell are people reviewing the restaurant under the Murder Mystery Special event anyway? They should review that in a separate events section, much like what Unilocal asks us to do when we are reviewing Unilocal events hosted at restaurants. I went to O’ Mama Mia today and yesterday. Why? Because this is simply the best place for lunch in the fashion district area. They VALIDATEPARKING. They give you unlimited refills of their drinks. They are super accommodating. WATERISFREE. They do not charge for water during lunch. What they did was for the special event because they weren’t making any money off of the groupon because it went mostly to the murder mystery group. Groupon overbooked their space and they’re not usually open for dinner anyway. When I heard what happened, I thought it was ridiculous. They definitely do not suffer from any of the negative comments that the murder mystery people were talking about. They’re a bustling lunch place with great service, an attentive manager, and our go-to spot for lunch. The other restaurants around here are super crowded, you have to wait forever for your food, and you don’t feel like you’re treating yourself. Here, you really feel like you’re treating yourself out. I know a lot of vendors in this area take their clients here to make them feel special and pampered. Even today, when I wasn’t totally into the special, the manager noticed right away and replaced it with another dish. I didn’t even have to say anything — nor was I going to since I was more than halfway through. That level of attention doesn’t come from a place without attentive service. If you’re in the area, come here for lunch. If you went to the murder mystery thing, come here for lunch and review the place for what it really is. Have some integrity.

Excellent. I try to have lunch here whenever I get the opportunity. I love the atmosphere and the friendly staff. They have daily special dishes so make sure to ask the waiter/waitress. The food is exceptional. I always order the Filleto, oh the mushroom sauce is so delicious I find myself cleaning the plate with the garlic knots which are delicious as well! I find the negative reviews linked to the Murder Mystery show misleading. Apparently it was a special event deal, so they catered to the guests attending the show, not for your regular lunch guests. In fact, they are not even open for dinner! Oh Mama Mia is NOT a family style restaurant!

Disgusting. I went here for a murder mystery dinner after buying a groupon. Even at half price I still felt totally ripped off. The show was horrible. There wasn’t even much of a show. Four«actors» simply walked around and thrust notebooks into the faces of several guests demanding participation. Food was horrendous. Please do not go to this. It is a rip off even at a reduced price

*this is a belated review from last year… Oh Mama Mia, indeed! A group of my friends and I came to this venue for a Murder Mystery, which is terrible as well. We were seated in plastic chairs that were uncomfortable and packed into this restaurant. It was hot, and no ventilation. Boo! And don’t get me started on the food! Food: Garlic Knots: bread w/garlic. simple. it was ok. Actually best part of the meal. I guess it’s something that the kitchen didn’t have to prepare Salad: No choice of dressing. It was your garden variety, lettuce, tomatoes, olives, onions, bell peppers with cheese and Italian dressing. Pasta: Family style, with what would feed about a family of 4, to be shared between 10 people, whom you may or may not know. No lasagna, a overly cooked rotini with tomato sauce(blech, took one bite and that’s it), Cheese ravioli(one per person). gross. And Fettuccine Alfredo soup/yes you read right, soup. with less than 3 oz of chicken in the bowl, plus some pasta. swimming in a soupy sauce. gross. It’s probably a frozen bag of stuff and they boiled it and added some lumpy sauce *shudders* Dessert: tiramisu. another ok part of the meal. it was a 2×2 square tho. Drinks: let’s start by them not having tap water… so my friend asked if she could have a cup with ice, then go to the bathroom to fill out in tap, cuz apparently they don’t have any tap water. $ 3 for bottle of arrowhead 16oz(bring your own, btw), canned soda. $ 6 for beers $ 7 for wine — that was not«chardonnay» fyi,… i’ve had warm beer that taste better. and whatever they were charging for the liquor. Rain or shine, I’m not coming back.

Dunno what everyone is ranting about bad service, and bad food. I frequent this hidden gem once a week for the past year and never had any flaws. Seems everyone is mad about the murder mystery show and not mama mia itself. Give it a try ! one of the best italian joints ive been to in awhile. Make sure to get a basket of them garlic knots. Delish!

First of all its spelled Omamamia and for those that were there Murder Mystery show, it was a private function with discounted rate! This would not be the typical food nor menu offered at this restaurant in a regular business hour. It’s a fine dining lunch restaurant not murder mystery! U paid $ 29 for show and a 3 course meal, what were u expecting? Makes u go hmmm… Combo meal at fast food joint n movies would cost more!

We attended the Murder Mystery dinner here. Positives: The actors were good and stayed in character, were very nice. The food was okay. Nice décor Negatives: Way too many people booked per show so we had no clue what was going on because we were so far in the back. I thought each person would have a role, but only two people out of the table of 12 were involved. The food proportions were so tiny it is a joke. We each got 2 raviolis, a tiny spoonful of pasta and a very tiny piece of cake. We asked numerous times to order drinks and 20 minutes into the meal she finally took our order. They charge for everything, including water. Parking was additional. They were cleaning up before we could even pay our tab and took the waters we just paid for and my friends lipstick and put them in the trash. It’s in the ghetto. Uncomfortable plastic chairs. Restroom is outside the restaurant. Fountain in the middle was pretty but blocked the view of any action. Overall, if they reduced the people to less than half the amount and had everyone have a role, had larger proportions and served what the menu said it would, it could have been decent…

BADBADBAD! I was here for the murder mystery dinner but it wasn’t much of a dinner — more like a snack, given that the portions were unaccommodating. 3 plates of pasta to share for a table of 10? And the waitress seemed in a hurry to get rid of our plates and utensils. We weren’t even done with our pasta and she had already taken it away. Bottled water is $ 3 and a can of soda is $ 4. The show itself was alright though. The audience was lively so that contributed to a good show. ONLYGOODTHING: THEGARLICKNOTS

HORRIBLE! STAYAWAY! The menu online is a lie — we never got our meat lasagna, instead we got cheese ravioli, vegetable primavera with almost no veggies, and chicken alfredo with no chicken. Everything is family style, and they cram 10 ppl to table. There was not enough food to go around the table as we were all still hungry. We arrived at 8:10pm for the 8:30pm show and we were already stuck in the tables way in the back. The fountain in the middle of the room blocked our entire view of the show and the speaker system sucked so badly that we had no idea what the characters were saying into the microphone. LAME. And you have to pay $ 3 for parking. And you have to pay $ 3 for a bottle of water. $ 4 for a can of soda. $ 7 for wine I believe. $ 6 for some beer.

Tacky to the max. My friend and I were doing wholesale shopping/work and were starving. She thought this place was a greek joint but obviously was wrong. I got a sandwich, which was awful and had to send it back. The meat tasted sour! Pro: Portions Size Service Garlic Knots Cons Parking Sandwich Food

I like this place. The décor is nice, the parking is validated. The food is good and for reasonable prices. The bread is amazing. Overall a good place to eat. The service can be slow when it is busy, but the food is good, the portions are good, and décor is nice.

This place is ok. the food was a tad salty(i eat on the salty side). we had filet mignon with mashed potatoes and spinach. it was drowning in salty sauce(maybe gravy?). the tiger prawn shrimp salad was hot on the outside and cool greens on the inside. the breaded fish dish with marinara was ok. the fettuccini alfredo tasted light. the seafood spaghetti was not bad. and their garlic bread balls are good. nothing was really great in my opinion. but that is what is expected in this area. but the service is good Their tiramisu wasn’t that great.

We’ve ordered for delivery several times now at my work place and it’s super yummy! They are always generous on the garlic knots. Fresh pasta, bread, salad and the steak is delicious too! Worth a try if you’re in the neighborhood. I haven’t been to their restaurant but they’ll deliver if you’re close.
