Problem is there will never be a similar spot.
Best coffee ever. Loved the LI City location.

Que pena! Why did this place close? It was really the only great coffee joint in LIC. I like Communitea, but well, it’s TEA. Brasil will always = great coffee. BCH was a reason in itself to make a foray over to LIC in the daytime hours. Now…

Really good coffee and love the decoration and the paintings on the wall.

Quality coffee. Dark and strong. Good espressos/​espresso drinks.
Four stars for coffee, three for atmosphere and food/​prices.
For people who like the fluffy whipped cream mocha-​chocca-​coco-​nut type drinks they are good too (not my thing but I have tasted those my friends got).
Their baked goods can be tasty or a bit stale depending on when you go. And even when they’re fresh, they seem a bit on the pricey side.
Many of them are Brazilian-​style (corn/​cheese empanadas, very good; cheese bread balls; cocount muffins — all great if fresh).
The atmosphere is alright but not very cozy. It’s often cold in winter due to the way the door opens on the seats. No wifi so not really encouraging you to stay more than a little while, even though there are always plenty of free tables.

I’ve only been here once, but it was memorable. It still does not beat, my favorite place in Seattle… When I went it was 100 °F, so I ordered an inced coffee, very refreshing… Nice Service also

This place bums me out. It’s so, so cute, and there’s hardly anyone there whenever I’ve seen it. I love the idea that it’s not a Starbucks or similar… But the problem is, the coffee here is just not good. Maybe my palette is off or something, and what I like/don’t like is different than other people like/don’t like, but I think it’s not good tasting.
I hope I can figure out something to like about this place besides its décor, because it really is adorable and I want to root for the little guy.

After surviving on the dark brews of Scandinavia and Europe (proper) I needed a comparable beverage to keep me going. If you are looking for a dark cup of good coffee go for the BCH. The other drinks are also wonderful (cheaper than the other local places) and the laid back staff will keep you coming back.
