I’m giving this place 4 stars because of their beer selection. They have a fantastic line up of true craft beers. Bob, Diane & Scott are always personable & attentive. That being said, it is definitely a divey bar(& has been there since my grandfather used to go get cardboard quarts of beer to go). The food is cooked to order but is just ‘ok’ bar food. It’s a cool place just to go have a few beers & talk.

Best local bar around-Bob always has a great selection of craft beer on tap and this is a place you can relax after a long day of work. Food is great and prices are good!

Been going to Nip/Tuck for almost 20 years,(I think Bob still had hair) anyway always been great beers and consistent bar food although you really can’t call some of their stuff«bar food» they have a NY Strip for $ 20 that is a lot better than a lot of 40 $ steak– houses. His Weekly and grilled cheese specials are also extraordinary. BTW Scott is Truly one of the best bartenders/cooks around don’t lose him!

A great locals place, but no ‘dive bar’. Great service. Try a Jersey Squirrel. Also the Nip N Tuck burger Jersey style. Vegas tourist.

I sauntered in on a Thursday night due to the four star average reviews and I sincerely hope I hit an off night. This place has that wonderful dive-ish atmosphere that I truly love. It has lots of wood and it’s a little dark. Great jukebox. Open kitchen and the food smelled wonderful. Nice selection of craft beers. Now things went downhill. The bar was slammed and I got the last seat. I counted and there were 19 customers at the bar. Why did I count them you ask? That’s because one guy was acting as bartender, doing all the cooking and handling all the takeout! This guy was seriously hustling. He made the famous Energizer Bunny look like a snail. Unfortunately it was too much for him. I had a hell of a time just getting a drink. The number of food checks hanging above his grill would be daunting to anyone. The guy next to me said«Yeah, the food is great but you’re not getting any anytime soon!» Another guy said he waited 40 minutes for a burger and fries. I took the hint and had dinner around the corner. I get to the area on business fairly often. I’m willing to give them another shot but this experience was seriously lacking

This is a fantastic dive — ish bar. The beer selection is unparalleled(12 plus rotating hard to find draft beers — like Kane IPAs, Troeg, Dogfish 90). Service is great. Tons of TVs if you want to see a game but not in an obtrusive sports bar way. Oddly, the food(cooked in front of you) might be the best part — burgers, wings, soup, daily specials. It’s a true gem.

Visited this place years ago and was not a fan. Just started coming here recently, seems like they renovated the insides. Good local, low key bar! Round fries and well-done wings are really good! Bartenders are always friendly!

my favorite dive bar in the world! every time I drinm at the nip its always 10.00 in the juke box, couple rounds of pool a game of darts and im taking a 6 pack home or maybe a bottle of wine for my girl. grill behind the bar for a quick burger and fries or a chicken sandwich. Its a dive bar that’s always a great time!

2.5 stars A dive bar with a good craft beer selection and mediocre food. Food: I had the steak sandwich and it was cooked just right. It was tasty, but it was small and it was so fatty that I had to keep pulling it out of my mouth to tear off the fat. Price: Reasonable. Service: Efficient. Atmosphere: Divey, but not in a «hip» way. At least not on the Thursday night I visited. Full bar: Taps tasted OK. It was sought of dead, so maybe weekend nights are a better judge of the atmosphere. I’m not into craft beers so there really isn’t a big attraction for me. I won’t go back.

The Nip feels like home. Great Great food, quick friendly bar keeps and a pretty diverse Crowd. Best juke box of all bars, pool, darts, video games, screens in all corners a nice dive feeling and you have all the ingredients for a good time. Oh yeah they have a great micro beer selection. go figure :)

If you like dive bars, AND craft beer,… you’ll LOVE this place. The Nip-n-Tuck has at least 12 craft beers on tap all the time. Which is weird, because it’s a dive bar, where you’d expect domestic draft beer. I’m not complaining, though. I love it. Add to that Live Music, Pool Table, Dart Boards, and Golden Tee? Sign me up. I also recomend the hot wings. cya there.

This place is clutch when liquor/beer stores are closed and you need packaged goods. The bar also has a nice selection. It often pulls a rugged crowd, but the staff is friendly and the place itself is cozy. I like the layout of their dart boards if you like to throw. There’s also a pool table, just be prepared to wait if you want to play. Food is decent — wings, nachos, etc. Three varieties of fries… get the circle cut fries(crisp with the right amount of mushy), no other place has ‘em.

Though I’m not always in love with crowd or environment, it’s cozy and has friendly bartenders, reasonably priced drinks, and 20+ beers on tap. That’s rare to find around this area, especially in a bar that isn’t cash only. They have food, which is always a plus, though I haven’t tried it yet… one of my new favorites…

So the Nip-N-Tuck or the nip as I call it, is as great a bar as I’ve found in the area. If you want good bar food with weekly specials such as Mako and rice or Thick Pork chops with applesauce, this is your place. They have 18 beers on tap with the normal PBR/Rolling Rock/Bud/Bud Light/Miller Light/Coors Light/Yuengling that you would expect. But they also have beer from Breweries such as Troegs, Brooklyn, and Sam Adams. On Sundays the domestic pitchers are $ 5 and they have $.25 wings(fried or grilled, I suggest grilled with BBQ sauce). Combine this special with NFL sunday ticket and you have a great sunday. This bar also features a Grilled Cheese of the Week special. You’ll be surprised at what they do for Grilled cheese. All in all, I am a regular at this bar and the bartenders are friendly. Other features to note: Pool Table, Dart Boards, Big Buck Hunter, and a punching game. They also have a touch tune jukebox.
