The service and food are great but seems like the bar needs to be replaced. Smells of rotting booze and beer are all you can smell in the place even as you get in the front door. This goes on with the status of a bathroom in a place tells the story of it cleanliness and standards. How high. How low. The bar smell is so bad I’m trying to figure out why they’re still open. It’s worse than when the OG powerhouse in hollywood closed for a month for the same smelly bar. Even they replaced it. Take a note drone that former dive. Get out the stink! Yuk.

In order to escape the heat our group decided to dine here on Father’s day weekend(Jun 19th). Due to high demand we had a 45 minute wait ahead of us so decided to grab a few drinks at the bar. Very disorganized. I noticed 3 tables were empty/ready for at least 15mins before host sat anyone down at them. Our party was seated outdoors. The way the sun hit the deck positioned someone in our party to be hit by the blazing sun. We asked to move and were accomodated. I ordered the Gardein BBQ chicken salad… served with iceberg lettuce = cheap ingredient. The only plus on this visit was the tofu and crimini mushroom lettuce wraps and our server David… that tried his best to accomodate our group.

What ever happen to this place? I use to love the Yard house. I expected more from their dishes. I had a burger with garlic fries and my wife had a burger with truffle fries. They tasted exactly the same. The garlic fries has some little chunks of garlic but you couldn’t taste the flavor. I should have known better. I should have gone to a burger joint for burgers. That might have been my last time going to YH.

Tonight my husband and I went out to dinner and we were very impressed. To start we have visited this location before but always had a really long wait time. As we were greeted with smiles from the staff upon check in we were whisked away to a table. Erik our server came over right away and introduced himself. Erik went out of his way to provide us with exceptional quality service and that’s what will keep us coming back. Keep up the good work Erik we see your hard work and effort to ensure you connect and take great care of each customer you can. Our food was amazing might I add and the serving size was large. As we were finishing up the manager came over to ask us how everything was going another plus in my book. Thanks YardHouse see you all soon

Always a great view and awesome happy hour menu. Our servers were really attentive and constantly checked on us(a bit more than we wanted but it’s no biggie – we appreciate the attention). Favorites include lettuce wraps, calamari and I love their crab cakes!!! Stop by for happy hour to make the most out of your $.

We didn’t ever get there to have an experience. I called 6÷14÷16 and spoke with Anthony to see if they would take a reservation for 11 at 12 noon on 6÷15÷16 for my Niece’s 8th Grade Promotion. He took my information and said his Manager would call back to confirm. I waited. No one called. So I called back 2 hours later. The young lady that answered the phone told me that the usually call the next day. And that they open at 10 am. So it would be after 10am. We went to my niece’s confirmation and no call. So at 10:45 am I call. The hostess did not find us on the list so she said she was going to get her manager. Diego took about a minute to get to the phone. He explains to me that they are all booked up and they could not accommodate us. So I asked him was this the case the night before when I called? He said, Yes. My simple response was, «WHYDIDN’T SOMEONETELLMEWHEN I CALLED!» He had no answer. But when I asked him what was available, He says… 11:00 am. Well that’s funny as we speak it was 11:00 am. Which I told him that was unacceptable… and I hung up on him. Because now I have to call everyone and tell them not to go to Long Beach. It’s not like we live around the corner…(Hawthorne, Lennox(LA), Paramount and Cerritos) and we had to decide on where to go. After listening to the pure disappointment in mu niece’s voice(after all it was her choice) we went to one of our favorite places… The Cheesecake Factory, in Redondo Beach. They never disappoint. We even went there told them how many were coming and after waiting about 30 minutes they sat us right away! I am not mad at Anthony, the hostess that answer the phone or Diego. I am disappointed at the individual that should called to confirm the appointment. So we could have had ample time to adjust. I would not have written this complaint if they had just did that! Service just doesn’t start when your at the location. It starts the moment you make contact with the establishment. But they don’t have to worry, after today I won’t be going back. At lease not to this location. They’ve ruined my experience and I haven’t even gotten there yet.

Okay, I’m going to start this review off by saying this is the loudest restaurant that I have ever been to in my life. Think screaming kids, huge groups of people celebrating and there was a 45 min wait. But, it was the middle of the NBA finals in the middle of tourist trap Long Beach on a Friday so what did I expect? Also, totally not their fault. Okay now for the five star part: the waitstaff is amazing, polite and super efficient. The drink list is enormous, and all the food is amazing and comes out quickly and delicious. We had spinach dip, French onion soup, clam chowder, steak and shrimp, and lobster noodles. All delicious, prompt and a reasonable price. But so loud. Don’t say I didn’t warn you…

Not the best yard house I’ve been to. Wait was long. We were seated outside at night since it was packed. It does get cold but they have heater lamps. I got the ribeye steak. Meh. I wish I got something else. Other yard houses have always been so good(Irvine Spectrum and Newport Beach Fashion Island). This one was just not good.

Came here to snack, drink and watch the Warriors game #6. The place was packed. There wasn’t a seat in the house. So We hung out in the bar waiting for a spot to open up. About 40 mins later we got lucky. The food was good but the bartenders and the servers were amazing to watch. The team work was the best I’ve ever seen. Everyone worked so well together. Drinks came out quick. And they were constantly checking in to see if we needed anything. Everything was absolutely fabulous. Go team. Great work. The owner and management should feel very proud & blessed to have such amazing staff.

Wow… I really hope the management takes a look at reviews so they can make some very needed corrections. The potential for this place is massive… it USED to be a good option in LBC. Recently returned from Seattle to meet my local buddy and I was blown away at how poorly managed this restaurant was. I understand that it very much caters to the tourist crowd, but that is no excuse to just massively mis-manage the place. I don’t go here expecting a Michelin Starred meal, I expect a fun experience and some nice beers in a nice environment… here are the problems that truly need to be addressed. Showed up around 6 pm. NUMEROUS open tables on the patio but was advised it was a 30 minute wait. Problem one, you are either improperly staffing because you can’t operate with a full patio, or you are trying to create a false sense of importance by creating a wait for no reason. Both of those options are absurd. If there are 20 open tables, why the hell would you make patrons wait for 20 – 30 minutes to enjoy you very very average food. Problem 2. While waiting my 30 minutes for a table, I went in to the restroom to find it completely disgusting. The waste cans were over flowing with trash. The floors were coated in piss. This is the most basic of common sense. You have a massive staff here, send someone in to the restrooms every 15 minutes to ensure everything is clean and cared for. If you can’t take care of the restrooms, I know for sure that you can’t take care of the kitchen. Finally seated on the patio after 3o minutes, We then sat at our table and observed wait staff walk by five separate times without taking an order, offering drinks, or at least saying that someone would be right with us. We were outright ignored and sat there for approximately 15 minutes before we got up and left. By the way, no one paid any attention when we did leave. Pathetic. You should be ashamed that you take money from anyone. I know it is easy when you are in a tourist area because the mindless sheep will show up and give you money and never return. I implore you as a business to have some pride. Do your best to give people a great experience. If you do I can promise that you will double your money, your staff will double or triple their tips, and you will have customers that will return over and over. Shame on you. This is the best example of a horribly mis-managed restaurant I have seen in many many years. If you ever want some expert guidance, feel free to contact me and I will go out of my way to set you straight.

Food here is average, and a bit high priced for the quality/quantity. But the Beer selection, view and most of all the staff are fantastic! My server Mandy kept the drinks coming and the good vibes rolling! She was excellent! She was so much fun and made great recommendations. Five stars only because of the server!!! I’ll be back.

Bit of a tourist trap, but then again, that’s who i was there! The yard house has outstanding selections for adult beverages with about 100 beers on tap and in bottles/cans. The place is huge and the outdoor patio is just as big so even if you have a 30 minute wait, you’ll probably get seated quicker so don’t fret. Food was decent, had the luck combo of half french dip sandwich with clam chowder both were fine. Pizza was just ok and sashimi was a hit with one of our group. Service was good and attentive and prices we what you’d expect in Long Beach.

Come for drinks/happy hour and that’s it. They have a ton of beers which is awesome. Food is overpriced and meh. They have a few good bar foods and the truffle fries are good. The burger buns were kind of falling apart and weren’t anything special. the mac and cheese people rave about was sooo plain. Also, their mixed beers(the pb&j-peanutbutter stout and framboise) was so over powered by the framboise. I have had a similar mix at Belmont Brew and it was way better. I will definitely be back for happy hour/some beers, but definitely not a meal. Both times I have been here our servers have been pretty cool. Also, even with validation our parking was $ 6.

Went back for the first time after five+ years for a corporate event. The pay parking lot is still a pain. With validation, it was still $ 4. Looks like you can park at the street meters for two hours until 9, but I don’t know the cost there. The event in their private room right off the lobby. The room was hard to maneuver in for 75 people. Long and skinny. The bar was weird because none of the kajillion beer lines flowed there, just wine and liquor. However, the severs were cool about bringing beers from a mysterious remote location. I will say that Yard House has done a good job of keeping up with the craft beer revolution. I would say they had at least twenty IPAs, many from California, some new, some familiar. There was a big spread of food. The sliders and buffalo strips were both excellent– the strips had a real kick from black pepper. The spicy chicken egg rolls were very good. The creamed spinach was pretty heavy, but OK. The famous onion ring tower is still good, but be sure to eat them while they’re hot. The pizza was quite ordinary and the crab cakes were almost inedible. In their defense, I’m from Maryland, so most California crab cakes fail.

Yardhouse isn’t a place I frequent bc I don’t drink alcohol but this place was packed on a Friday night. My BF’s friends got a reservation at 7 and we came strolling in at almost 8(running on Asian time). It was perfect timing bc the birthday boy only came 10 mins before us! What I thought was weird. When I came, one male server was stuck with the this huge party in the back of us. Another female server came by to help him with his orders from our table(and his other tables as well). After he was free of that table, he took our food orders. Then our ACTUAL server came back from her dinner and I think her name was Bree. She was adorable. All 3 of the servers were attentive and very nice despite the condition of the place(it was super duper busy). My BF and I ordered the BBQ chicken pizza with a side of tradition Caesar salad. Then he ordered a red ale. Bree split off our check for us and we added 20% tip. The grand total was $ 32. Whoa. Steep. The food was actually pretty average. The pizza came out lukewarm and the salad was standard. The ale wasn’t the best(according to my BF.) The bathroom door for the female bathroom WASSOHEAVY and it SLAMMED behind you when you entered. It was so loud, it scared me. That’s definitely a hazard. It could slam on someone’s hand and really hurt them. The bathroom was also quite dirty. When parking, you have to grab a ticket to enter the lot. Paid parking, oh no. I got my ticket validated at the hostess desk… At the exit, I still had to pay $ 8! Never again… TLTR: –find somewhere to park outside of the lot if you’re coming here.($ 5 minimum card charge when paying) –Make reservations if you want a table. The wait time is ridiculously long without one. –prepare for a pricy meal lol

I’m always a Yard House fan. We were in town for a conference and needed to get away for lunch. We were actually able to walk here from the hotel, so that was a big plus :) Sitting on the patio was great… except for the birds. We liked the weather, the fresh air, and the scenic boats, but the birds were still crashing all around us and climbing on the umbrellas above us. More than once did I flinch from a near-swoop or close fly-by from a fatty pigeon. Would I sit outside again? probably. Servers were also cute. The lunch specials were good and reasonably priced. Can’t remember what I ordered, but most people in the group were happy with their selections. The cocktails were about what I would expect at most restaurants, but this place is known for beer, so find one you like!

First time at the Yard House. We had dinner here on New Years Eve, and had the absolute best service ever. Regular menu – no jacked up prices for NYE. We walked into the packed restaurant without a reservation. No service at any restaurant ever anywhere was better. Every server should aspire to be as good as the servers here. Yard House set the standard on New Years Eve. (Wonder if it is like that here all the time?) Now the food: The Filet was excellent. 5 of 5. Better than the Filet at Mastros 3 weeks later which cost 1⁄3 more. Lettuce Wraps: 4.5 of 5. Great taste. We dined and watched the 9PM fireworks over the water. Then over to Pine for the big party. Yard House made our night! Thanks! It’s also a fun date place down near the water if you have a fun date to go with. A few beers, a little wine, some good food… take a stroll down along the water… Ferris wheel nearby… dance clubs in the area… perfect, perfect.

I love coming to any Yard House for Happy Hour! They have a pretty big menu of appetizers and pizzas for half price! It is definitely worth it. I came here as a last stop after a night of bar hopping and we ordered the Chicken Lettuce Wraps and Onion Ring Tower while sipping on some drinks. I really enjoy the Chicken Lettuce Wraps that come with a chicken, tofu, and pine nut mix that you wrap up with the lettuce and dip in the sauces that they have :) I ordered the Moscow Mule for my drink &YUM! I would definitely recommend. They have a HUGE menu of alcoholic drinks. We sat outside on the Patio, so we had a pretty sweet view of the water too!

4STARSFORHAPPYHOUR. I was here last night as a last stop to my bar hopping in Long Beach. You can’t really go wrong with their happy hour since everything in the happy hour menu is pretty appetizing. I normally get the Chicken/Tofu Lettuce Wraps and Chicken Nachos but for last night I decided to get the lettuce wraps and onion rings(ate kind of a lot at Congregational Ale House :() They have a LARGE selection of beers as you probably all already know so its a good spot for beer noobs like myself to get a taste of a lot of fine beers to find your niche. I can’t rate this place overall as an establishment since I’ve never been here for anything except for happy hour! Will be back!

One of my favorite things about Yardhouse is their happy hour where most of their appetizers are half off. The prices are already low and with half off, I usually just order my entire meal from the list of appetizers and I am always satisfied. Happy Hour: Mon — Fri 3pm to 6pm Late Night Happy Hour: Sun — Wed 10pm to 12am
