My fist time here and had bad experience they have great customer service but… they take for ever with the food and also I feel like I over paid for some regular tacos and there were not that great had 2 de la sierra tacos and 2 governador and they were
so I paid $ 16 dollars for 4 tacos I was really disappointed.

Every time I come here I’m greeted with smiles and welcome back’s. The workers are quick and the FOOD!!! I’m never disappointed with the food!!! From their shrimp tacos to their wings I love it all!!! But the drinks!!! Yum yum yum!!! Ask for Jenny she’s the best mixologist!!! It’s also great for the family! They have ample enough seating to accommodate large groups! If you’re looking for a chill, cozy, yet fun environment, I encourage you to come join me!

I ended up here because my local neighborhood association was having an event. I couldn’t go to the actual event but I stopped in earlier because I was starving so I figured I’d give them a try. The service was good as I was ordering to go and I stilled got served chips, salsa, and water but unfortunately the food is sub par. They advertise authentic Mexican food but my food was not good at all. I ordered the Fiesta Platter which comes with chicken taquitos but the chicken had such a weird taste that I couldn’t even finish my food.
I like supporting local businesses but it’s hard to find good food anymore…

First time here came with my buddies and the food was amazing, also had to try their famous «mangoniadas» they were amazing. The service was great, definitely coming back soon can’t wait to try the rest of their food!

I have been here multiple times now and am finally done.
First experience was amazing, great seafood, service, drinks. Owner was there and engaging.
I have ordered the same thing every time as well, the Botona De Marisicos.
1st time off the charts!
Every time since is served different, less seafood and last two times was warm, like fresh steamed.
The real killer is the none existing service.
We were not greated. We waited 15 to be asked for a drink. No hassle or personality in the bar tendor. With only 8 people in the whole place you have time to engage and hussle.
Also some guy drinking at the bar started going behind the bar and making his own drinks for him and a friend, so very unprofessional and off putting.
I want small places like this to survive and thrive, but you need to be consistent, friendly, and offer me a product and environment I want to enjoy and return to.

Came here for a cinco de Mayo dinner and drinks. Nice little spot! Great food and drinks… Had me a Mangoneada and it was pretty good. The manager checked on us and waitress was very helpful and attentive. Total bill was less than we expected for what we ordered. not overpriced! Good music playing and TVs on. Will definitely be back!!!

Went in last night with my BF and his cousin for tacos and beers. ($ 1 tacos and $ 3 beers on Tuesdays.) The tacos were delicious! I had an asada, chicken, and fried fish taco (fish not $ 1). They were all so good but my favorite had to be the fish. The bartender/​server was really nice to us. Very attentive. The place was chill. TVs all around. You can choose the music you want to listen to. We would definitely come again.

I love this place Local spot to eat Tacos’ chit chat and Drink I love the updated music box. All the latest Jams. The owner ENERGY is welcoming and friendly. The Chef is so a sweet heart’ patient and cooks everything to your liking. Food is freshly cooked when ordered and the drinks are reasonable. Check them up Beloveds

Had a great experience at Uptown bar and grill. First time there but will definitely not be my last. Service was great, food was delicious and according to my bf the drinks were nice and strong. Can’t wait to have this baby so I can try the drinks myself.

The staff and the owner were rude. The food was cold and inedible. There were gang homies sitting along the bar. Cockroaches in the restroom. The police were cruising the parking lot every fifteen — twenty minutes. Certainly not a safe place to take kids — anytime of the day. This place was unfriendly and a dump.

Great service by Danny. Now under new management and heard they are going to revamp the place. Delicious drinks. Mexican candy shot was well worth the price. Not stingy on the alcohol!
Complimentary chips and salsa. The food tastes fresh and delicious which really hit the spot when I had their shrimp tacos. Must try the Art Taco! Sooooo good.
We also had bacon wrapped shrimp which balanced out nicely with the side salad it came with.

Let me start off with the food… absolutely delicious, i also love the fact that chef javier listens to when i have speacial request on my order. (Two thumbs up). The staff are friendly & make you feel comfortable the time your there. Love the full selection of liquor at the bar. My favorite shot would be the kahlua shot (i recommend it).

Great food and even better service! If you are looking for authentic Mexican food and great drinks, definitely visit Uptown Bar. The liquor selection was impressive and the food menu was great as well. The space is cozy and welcoming and we cannot wait to come back! We actually even met the owner and she was very gracious and warm. Best of luck to you guys! Can’t wait to visit again!
