Bad vibe here, and poor service. This place is always overcrowded. It takes forever to get coffee or breakfast, and none of the baristas seems to be very happy. There are a ton of other coffee places more deserving of business than these guys and I will definitely be frequenting them more often.

Got my drink wrong, took a customer before me that was standing further back in line. Witnessed them getting other items wrong for orher customers. They’re either having a bad day today or this location is amateur. There used to be a starbucks across the street that was way better. They baristas would know you by name.

Sitting in this Starbucks ONLY because Peets across the street was full today. In my opinion this is the worst Starbucks there is. My Latte tastes like warm milk. They get orders wrong more than right and the place is usually pretty dirty. Cross the street and go to Peets ! I’m leaving now.

I come here once a week to have a hot drink, and use the Internet. Drinks are good, service is great, but the number of dogs sitting outside is really troubling. Ok dogs are cute, but they sometimes don’t get along well. Today there were 7 dogs outside, yes 7, loitering with their owners, there was a lot of commotion, and some dogs were snapping at each other. Not a pretty sight. 2nd street is famous for being dog friendly and that’s fine, but loitering in front of an establishment is not safe for dogs, or people. I am giving it two stars, because the experience of coming and leaving isn’t pleasant.

Great place to write or relax. Good lighting lots of space between tables. Inside and outside seating. Clean bathroom always a plus!

I always like this location of Starbucks on 2nd St. Don’t know why there’s 2 of them on 2nd St., but oh well this one is remodeled and has more seats in-store and out. I also don’t know how people can be there hours at a time either studying or staring at their computers and pretending to be in deep thought. lol I also like that they have a good sized bathroom. Friendly staff and fast service.

Great place to study. Lots of room and outlets to charge your electronic devices. Huge patio section to chill on. Cheers!

As a regular daily user I feel I have a big enough sample size to give a warranted review. Say what you want about the, but for me it’s the constant familiar fix I’m looking for to stay my day. What makes this Crackbucks stand out is the customer service. Even with lines of people constantly bombarding the baristas, they keep the lines moving with a smile on their faces. Everyone is very friendly and the simple gestures of remembering you name and drinks gives a small shop feel to a corporate giant. Thanks Starbucks on 2nd for my mourning line of Joe!

Always crowded. I only come here if I get a gift card. I don’t really like the«burnt» typical Starbucks flavor. I usually just order a blonde or light coffee but sometimes I get an iced tea which is really good. Everyone that works there is pretty friendly. If I had to choose I would go across the street to Pete’s. Less crowded and better coffee.

Went in at a good time, not to busy. I ordered one of Starbucks new orange cream soda drinks and my sister got a vanilla ice coffee. Nothing to write home about and wouldn’t order it again. Besides the fact that you couldn’t fit one more ice cube in my cup, the soda fell flat on taste.

Ok so… every since my wife discovered this store I do not know what is happening to my account! I feel like I have to work 3 jobs to support her crazy addictions ! She loves this place so much that I had to sell my car and downgrade to walking… yes… things are THAT bad. She keeps talking about how much she loves their soy chai… their clean bathrooms, the people watching and running my bank account dryer than the Sahara dessert. Outdoor patio is awesome ! Plenty of space, really friendly happy smiley faces there to serve you. What’s not to like ! Great location ! Only thing missing here is a masseuse !

Unfortunately, the customer service at this Starbucks location leaves me never wanting to come back! I’ll start by saying that I am a Gold Star holder and use my phone app to make purchases. I LOVE the coffee and have been a loyal fan for years until visiting this particular location. My husband and I purchased a home in Belmont Shore 5 min. from this Starbucks and are aware that we have many choices when it comes to coffee. I have visited this Starbucks 5 times and every single time, the staff has been less than friendly. What’s crazy, is that it’s only at this particular Starbucks. It clearly seems to be the culture of this staff. Since I have many choices in Belmont Shore,(Pete’s coffee, Coffee Bean, Polly’s, Pandor) I will not hesitate to change. I want to feel comfortable wherever I go for great coffee and unfortunately, the staff at this particular Starbucks does not make the clientele such as myself feel welcome.

I am actually quite grateful this Starbucks sucks. Because if it didn’t I would have never discovered how amazing Peet’s Coffee is. And Peet’s is right across the street! Major bonus points!!! This Starbucks’s employees are by far the worst I have ever encountered. By no means come here if you’d like to get your coffee in a timely manner.

As a general rule, I adore Starbucks. I do. Unfortunately, this particular shop has employed some unreasonably lazy baristas. A few weeks ago, I ordered a green tea lemonade and received a cup of sugar water and ice. Today I ordered an iced green tea latte and received a cup of iced milk with a stack of powder over the top. So, I asked if maybe it still needed to be mixed and the woman told me, «no, this is standard, this is how we make it.» Please. You must assume all your customers are as ignorant as you are. Hmph. Disappointed.

I frequent this Starbucks because of the location — the heart of 2nd St. The line can be long depending on the time of day(like any Starbucks), but the service is pretty fast. My order has never been messed up(but I guess it’s pretty hard to mess up ice coffee with nonfat milk and no sugar), so that may be a little biased. Only downside to this place is that there aren’t many places to sit. Of course it is in Belmont Shore so space is a little cramped. I like to come in to study, so sometimes I end up needing to leave because there is nowhere to sit. Another negative of this place is that the little station with the cream, sugar, and stuff is not always the cleanest — the other day, it was dirty with straw wrappers everywhere and cream spilled and the trash can was overflowing. Despite the small downsides to this Starbucks, I will keep on coming back — great location, people are nice here, and prompt service.

It’s Starbucks. They have great iced tea and friendly staff who can now go to college for free so yay for them!

Damn Im surprised how early the caffeine joints around the 2nd street area close, even on Sat night. I remember eating at the Taco Surf across the way years ago… Finding both Coffee Bean and Peet’s down for the count, we hit this up. So they do have a CLover machine here so bonus. But I felt like some carbonation so I went for one of their new fangled sodas. The spiced root beer was actually pretty decent though a bit on the pricey side for soda. It’s crowded cause everything else is closed and you may have to hang with the local motorcycle club if you’re here late

Indian food can put you in a mean coma and we both had a bit of a drive ahead of us before going home. When the walk didn’t help burn off any calories, we opted to get some caffeine. It’s holiday season at Starbucks so this was an obvious choice. The red cups can put anyone in the mood. I opted for the pumpkin spice latte. There was a bit of a line for a weekend but it moved quick. The PST was just as I remembered it. Even tho, I’m kinda over PST now that the chestnut praline latte is here but oh well, it was still good and gave us enough of a boost to make it home.
